Role Summary
The Policy, Research and Impact Directorate ensures that the Charity is evidence-led, impact-focused, and continuously improving the quality of our programmes. Through our policy, research and investigation work we shine a light on barriers to success, to influence changes to Government policy and practice; through our impact work, we strive to deepen our understanding of the difference we have on life-chances of young people, and the combination of interventions that best enable them to successfully seize employment opportunities, post-school; through quality assurance of programmes, we ensure that the organisation and partners have a common understanding of best practice and the insights to continuously improve.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
Strategic Purpose:
· Coordinate the collection and management of data related to our projects, programmes, and initiatives.
· Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other systems to organise and track relevant insight and information.
· Conduct basic analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
· Assist in the preparation of regular reports, presentations, and dashboards summarising key findings and outcomes.
· Collaborate with programme staff to ensure data is collected consistently and accurately according to established protocols.

Purpose of the job/About the role
Join Dementia UK as a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Support Officer and have the opportunity to work with a team who have a shared focus of collaborating and improving the lives of families living with dementia through the learning experience of Admiral Nurses.
Collaborating closely with our Academy Coordinator and team members, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the Admiral Nurse Academy’s learning management system, Blackboard, to ensure it offers Admiral Nurses high quality learning opportunities. You will design and build online learning courses and modules, from an initial structure/outline, to the detailed storyboarding of content (supplied by Academy Team), activities and assessments. You’ll harness various digital tools and applications like Articulate, Vyond, and Padlet to craft captivating content. Ensuring that the learning design for all online programmes is focused on helping Admiral Nurses to achieve course learning outcomes and meet their personal learning goals.
The preferred candidate will have high-level knowledge of learning management systems and the digital tools used in online learning. You will have experience of working or studying in online education or training, being able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing. You will be able to work in a deadline driven production environment and have the ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously working with internal and external stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Donor and Stakeholder Engagement Officer, who has a proven track record in fundraising and effectively engaging donors and stakeholders to support a charitable cause.
You will be successful in submitting Tenders, Grant Applications, Bids etc. and competently engaging with high-net-worth individuals and corporate donors. You will be highly organised, numerically proficient and be great at building effective relationships.
You’ll be part of a small team, reporting into the Executive Director, however we work with a diverse stakeholder network of other charities and the general public, therefore you will have excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
We generally work remotely, but you will be required to come into the Chandlers Ford office once a month for meetings.

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is seeking a Communications Officer (Media) with sharp news sense to join our growing team. The successful candidate will bring talent, enthusiasm, and relevant knowledge and experience to support press and social media strategies and communications across the entire global organisation. The role sits in our global communications team, working with, and reporting to, the Head of Communications. We are a small, high-performing team tasked with increasing the media and social media coverage of BHRRC’s analysis and key findings, as well as supporting and amplifying the efforts of our partners on the ground that are fighting to achieve justice and remedies for victims of abuse.

Responsibilities
The Communications Officer (Media) will have a particular focus on increasing international media coverage of BHRRC’s work and research, and the activities of our partners, including in the field of labour rights. Responsibilities will include:
Drive a proactive and strategic press approach: Spot opportunities for high impact coverage in target outlets, building on existing press lists, develop relationships with priority journalists, and create and pitch compelling content to media, including media advisories, press releases and related materials.
Develop high-impact communications products, synthesising complex research and data sets: Work with our Global Team to develop materials which speak to our key audiences. Develop key messages for our priority programmes and also discrete outputs including individual briefings and research reports.
Contribute to organisational and project communications strategies and planning: Support the Head of Communications to implement our communications strategy. Advise project managers on strategic communications and support launch project planning. Keep our planning calendar up to date and help ensure deadlines are met.
Produce well-written content: Write and edit channel-appropriate content for our audiences. Support the Global Team to produce high-quality and newsworthy reports, op-eds and blogs.
Support digital outputs: Support the Web Content and Senior Digital Officers as appropriate, creating content for our digital platform and social media platforms (including priority platforms LinkedIn and Twitter).
Support the communications team: Provide on-call cover for the media line, with occasional infrequent out of hours work, and share admin jobs.
Key competencies and attributes
Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a communications role, including working in a busy press office, communications department or as a journalist.
Media: Sharp news sense and editorial judgement; ability to conceive, craft and pitch news stories and carry out fast reactive work. Knowledge of and experience of working with the mainstream media, including knowledge of the editorial positions, audiences, and sections or programmes of key outlets. In addition, ideally, knowledge of international business media or media in some specific countries or regions.
Relationship building: Track record of developing relationships with journalists on key issues. Any existing contacts of relevance to BHRRC’s work a bonus.
For-impact communications: Excellent understanding of how strategic communications can work with research and advocacy approaches to achieve change. Proven ability to synthesis and communicate complex and sensitive information; understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences, contexts and channels. Outstanding written English and good oral communications ability.
Project management: Track record of leading and/or implementing complex projects including planning (timelining), execution and evaluation of lessons learned.
Strategic thinking: Track record of helping to develop successful communications strategies to effect change. Experience tailoring communications products for diverse international audiences an asset.
Supporting staff: Enthusiasm for supporting colleagues with communications. Experience supporting staff either through training, coaching or assisting with media advice an asset.
Team player: Experience of, and commitment to, working in high-performing teams that are highly collaborative and focused on outcomes. Experience of working with colleagues remotely, and in multicultural and diverse cultures and working environments also desirable.
Knowledge of human rights issues: A strong interest in international issues and familiarity with social justice issues desirable.
Languages: Must be fluent in English. Additionally Japanese or Spanish in particular, and/or French, Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, or Russian language skills would also be an asset.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supporter Relations Officer to join our team, based at one of our 21 rehoming centres.
The role of the Supporter Relations Officer (SRO) is to promote the work of Dogs Trust to key audience groups in their catchment area and to support them accordingly. They provide a vital link to the community, stewarding supporters wherever they may be on their Dogs Trust journey. This is done by handling local supporter legacy and Canine Care Card enquiries, as well as in memory donations.
The SRO spends time in the community, visiting local businesses and people, as well as organising community talks to relevant audience groups. They organise supporter events and tours at the rehoming centres throughout the year and are also part of the team organising and attending events with the Dogs Trust Village.
As the role is primarily customer-facing, the SRO is based at the rehoming centre. However, they spend a portion of their time in local communities. This role also involves frequent travel, both locally and across the UK, including some overnight stays, as well as weekend and evening work. A full UK manual driving licence is essential.
The successful candidate will have experience in a public facing role and a passion and commitment to the work and aims of Dogs Trust. They will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to develop and prioritise their own workload, working well under pressure and to deadlines.

This is an exciting time to join our International Society, and to take the next steps in your career within a small proactive team: we are at a critical stage of development of ISAPS Education, putting finishing touches to a new website, and working on a new Learning Management System and training curriculum, to build on our extensive resources for medical professionals globally.
Working closely with the Head of Digital and Education Projects to develop and manage ISAPS website and our portfolio of e-learning and education for our members and their patients across the globe you will play a key role in creating high quality digital resources, and in building our relationships with stakeholders internationally.
About you
Educated to degree level, with strong relevant experience in online digital systems and education, you will enjoy a broad and varied workload and be comfortable working at pace, and on your own initiative. You are self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, solutions focused with highly developed interpersonal skills.
We would like to hear from candidates who understand the design and production of digital content, and have excellent organisation and communication skills to enable them to work on multiple projects concurrently. You will enjoy and embrace the opportunities of working remotely and collaboratively with our team and our community of international medical professionals alike.
Key attributes of the successful applicant will include:
- Experience in the design and production of digital education content using relevant tools
- Passion for delivering high quality and well-designed digital content for educational purposes

Kinship care begins in crisis. A child whose parents are unable to care for them, for whatever reason. It’s frightening, confusing and heart-breaking. Instinctively, a loved one steps in – a grandparent, brother, sister, aunt, uncle or family friend. They are now a kinship carer, bringing up the children they love. It’s life changing and challenging raising children who’ve been hurt or neglected, but kinship carers do it anyway because they put the children first.
Kinship have been awarded funding from the Department for Education to deliver the first ever national training programme to support kinship carers in their caring role. We are at the start of that journey.
About the role:
Kinship are seeking to recruit experienced event co-ordinators with a whole range of skills and great energy to join our brand-new training team. They will be responsible for delivering this first ever programme of its type supporting kinship carers across England in their caring role.
As a pivotal part of the team, you’ll be supporting delivery of high-quality in-person and online training events across England. You’ll be the first point of contact for the team and be experienced and responsive in dealing with enquiries. You’ll be used to working with suppliers and have proven experience of planning, co-ordinating and supporting the delivery of large events. You’ll bring significant working experience of using Microsoft tools, and other platforms and technology including Zoom. You’ll have a positive, can-do approach and the ability to work with initiative, being curious and always thinking ahead to anticipate need and deal with issues.
Collaboration will be key to your approach, and you’ll be detail orientated and be great at managing your time and priorities, and working to consistently high standards. You’ll plan, co-ordinate and support the successful delivery of all our online and in-person events, including being available and involved as needed on site.
In this role, you’ll travel across England and may have overnight stays from time to time. We offer training and support to enable you to be successful in your role and we’re happy to discuss requirements if you have kinship caring responsibilities.

- Providing highly effective project management and administrative support to the training programme, including supplier communication, coordinating programme logistics and delivery of all relevant general and financial administration tasks, e.g. scheduling meetings, providing agendas, writing briefings, minute-taking, monitoring expenditure and organising events, training and workshops.

The Role
Sitting within the High Value Engagement Team – comprising Trusts and Statutory, Philanthropy, Bids and Tenders, and Corporate Partnerships – the Trusts and Philanthropy Officer will build relationships with loyal and prospective donors, raising vital funds to power the Association’s work to support more people affected by stroke.
You will report into the Trusts and Grants Manager, with key responsibilities including:
· Raising income in line with agreed personal and team fundraising targets.
· Managing a portfolio of low- and mid-value trusts and foundations: working with internal colleagues to develop and prepare bespoke funding applications and reports.
· Managing the Small Trust Mailing programme (raising c.£80k/year).
· Prospect research: identifying and researching promising new donor prospects.
· Supporting the Philanthropy Team with prospecting, cultivation and stewardship of Major Donors, as needed.
About You
You will have:
· Knowledge of trust/philanthropy fundraising for a charitable organisation or equivalent.
· Experience of building and developing effective relationships in a professional setting.
· Excellent standard of written English
· Drive, enthusiasm and proven ability to deliver or exceed targets.
