An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Stores Officer to join the Procurement team. Your role is to maintain the required stock levels of essential medical and housekeeping equipment to ensure there are no stock outs.
Provision of services include processing deliveries, monitoring stock levels, assisting users with order processing in our order management system, carrying out stock takes as required.
As a part of the Procurement team, the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the team and where appropriate assist in works as and when required to do so.
This role is not open to sponsorship.
Role Requirements
- Responsible for working with Procurement & Purchasing Officer to develop a new process for goods in, collaborating with Helpdesk, Logistics and Security to adapt and improve the goods inwards process to further support all departments.
- Responsible for maintaining stock levels in stores, ensuring accurate record keeping is developed and maintained.
- Building a new process with the support of the Procurement Lead in respect of the Shops stock management system for cleaning and stationery materials to make efficiencies
- Ensure stocks are stored and handled appropriately and correctly rotated.
- Maintain accurate records on-line of stock levels and receipting stock orders as required
- Keeping stock records and pricing updated.
- Making deliveries across site as required if Logistics are unavailable
- Providing reciprocal support to the logistics team as required to cover annual leave/sickness
- Other duties as directed/required by Procurement and Purchasing Officer or Head of Department for ad hoc duties ie bed extensions (training to be provided).
- Placing orders with suppliers as required for stationery, NHS orders, uniforms etc
- Working with the Procurement Team to ensure pricing on goods remain competitive
- Regularly reviewing all Purchase Orders as required to ensure accuracy
- Assisting on reviewing key, preferred suppliers to ensure value for money

Benefits

We are seeking a Reserves Officer (Hook) to join our cause.
Reporting to the Senior Nature Recovery Manager (North Hampshire) and functioning as a key member of the North Hampshire Area Team, this post is responsible for the habitat management of Hook Commons, Bassetts Mead and North Warnborough Greens. This portfolio of sites includes a diverse mixture of heathland, acid grassland, woodland, woodpasture and wet meadow habitats; all of which are being managed or restored to favourable condition with support from the team and in partnership with organisations such as Natural England, our inhouse grazing team, local landowners and Hook Parish Council. You will lead on wood pasture creation, heathland restoration, as well as wet meadow management on the Whitewater catchment.
The Reserves Officer (Hook) will deliver Countryside Stewardship Scheme and other work plan objectives, working with fellow staff, volunteers, contractors, project partners and the grazing team to implement habitat management activities. Estate management will also include the maintenance of reserve infrastructure and gathering ecological data through working with partners and carrying out surveying when required. This role will also involve working closely with colleagues in the north reserves team to support the team objectives across our sites including large areas of MOD estate and Pamber Forest; while also maintaining a close and supportive relationship with our grazing team.

Reporting to the Media Manager, you will use your skills to generate media coverage that raises awareness of the seriousness of lung conditions, stamps out misconceptions, communicates our campaigns, services and ground-breaking research and inspires people to support us.
We are looking for someone with experience working in a busy press office and a strong news and storytelling instinct. You will have contacts with national journalists and be proactive, creative. Frazzled is a small mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE based on the power of emotional openness. Our free, volunteer-led meetings run online every single day of the year, offering people a chance to share, listen and feel heard in a supportive community.
We're looking for a confident and positive self starter with a high level of emotional intelligence, attention to detail and excellent communication skills to be our new Project Support and Administrative Officer.
You will play a vital role in coordinating our schedule of peer-support meetings, managing our busy inboxes, supporting our volunteers and ensuring our internal systems and processes are well organised and working smoothly. You will work closely with our Co-Heads of Training and Programmes to plan and manage service delivery, support the recruitment, wellbeing, training and development of volunteers, as well as provide day-to-day running of our services. Supporting the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, you will contribute to Frazzled’s fundraising and development by providing administrative support and helping to organise events, meetings and reports.
Frazzled runs meetings throughout the day, from early in the morning until late in the evening seven days a week. The Project Support and Administrative Officer will be responsible for scheduling meetings and supporting our Facilitators with issues when they arise.
Please note that there will be some evening and weekend work expected when emergency tech or meeting issues arise.
Key responsibilities
Core Programme:

Manage the delivery of all Frazzled meetings by being the main point of contact for day-to-day queries, managing the day to day running of core programmes, ensuring documents, schedules, records and systems are all up to date, and being on call to deal with any issues that arise.

Respond to all public enquiries in a helpful and efficient manner

Manage the Frazzled meeting schedule by arranging our meetings with volunteers and uploading them onto our booking website

Design all pre- and post- volunteer meeting polls and ensure these are completed

Host Ruby Wax public meetings with Ruby on Zoom
Volunteer Support:

Support the Heads of Training and Programmes in the recruitment, support and training of volunteers

Be confident in having constructive conversations via Zoom, phone and email with our stakeholders and volunteer network

Ensure all volunteer records, DBS and training tracking is maintained and updated, and arranging training meetings

Assess feedback forms from volunteers that may highlight problems or risks within meetings and manage these accordingly

Support all volunteers in case of distress, queries, updates, problem solving alongside the Heads Training and Programmes

Support and minute monthly volunteer meetings

Write a monthly volunteer newsletter

Manage and oversee all data collection from the core programme meetings, including analysis and presentation of results to staff, volunteers and trustees.
