This is an exciting senior policy role in our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The development of a UK-wide child poverty strategy in government means this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to influence to influence policy makers to adopt our evidence-based policy solutions to child poverty.

We are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing evidence-based policy positions to support CPAG’s influencing and campaigns work. Current priorities include influencing the development and implementation of the forthcoming child poverty strategy, sharing analysis and expertise as part of the DWP’s review of universal credit, and monitoring the development of the green paper on the changes to disability benefits, and the white paper on employment.

Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. It affects 153,000 people in the UK and currently there is no cure. 

We’re recruiting for a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our team, on a fixed term maternity cover contract, for approx 12 months.

We proudly raise money to help improve life for people with Parkinson’s and the people in their lives. Our work helps to fund everything from promising research, to providing personalised support for everyone with Parkinson’s, to campaigns fighting for better support for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones.

About the role 

You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns and leading a strategic area of fundraising, to engage and inspire people to donate. And you’ll make it as easy as possible for supporters to choose the way they want to give. You’ll be part of a team that champions and supports each other, and is innovative in a changing fundraising and external environment to achieve our annual income target of over £5 million. 

Focusing on high volume donations under £1000, we use analysis and insight to deliver a variety of direct marketing activities that recruit new donors and ensure everyone can see the impact of their kind contribution. 

What you’ll do:

• Support the Individual Giving Manager to help set strategic objectives, monitor income and expenditure and use database analysis to inform the individual giving programme.

• Plan, create and manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offline, and lead a strategic area of fundraising to secure donations

• Work with the Individual Giving Officers, delegating work and championing their development. There may also be an opportunity to line manage an Individual Giving Officer.

• Monitor income and expenditure budgets and use database analysis to inform and improve the direct marketing programme.

• Ensure that the direct marketing programme is integrated into Fundraising & Experience  Directorate activities and supports the overall Parkinson’s UK strategic plan

• Use digital tools to manage email and online communications.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience of managing Individual Giving or direct marketing activity with substantial income and expenditure budgets.

• Proven success in donor or customer acquisition and retention through direct marketing.

Working closely with the Product & Innovation Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the fundraising strategy, leading on the delivery of our individual giving and legacy marketing campaigns across a range of channels. Key Responsibilities:

Income generation

• Play a key role in the implementation and delivery of the individual giving and legacy marketing strategy
• Support the growth of individual giving income in line with annual targets
• Develop and deliver regular cash and legacy marketing appeals to a high level, including:
  • Developing propositions and cases for support
  • Create compelling direct marketing materials, including writing persuasive copy and developing strong creative content
  • Project management to ensure delivery on schedule and within budget

Donor stewardship

Trauma Treatment International (TTI) is a registered charity in the UK. We focus on providing evidence-based psychological treatment and support to victims of collective violence around the world. As well as providing treatment for victims directly, we work with organisations and communities to manage, mitigate and prevent the impact of trauma.

This is an exciting time for the charity, as we move into our next phase of development. We are now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead us in the implementation of our Strategy 2025-2030 and our vision for change.

The CEO role is a highly rewarding one, offering the opportunity to join and lead our small, yet experienced and impactful team. The post offers the platform to work creatively and flexibly internationally, network with fantastic organisations and help to influence, shape and sustain TTI’s strategy and activities in this pivotal time in the organisation’s development.

This is a remote working role, with attendance at events or locations as required throughout the year. We offer a permanent employment contract and are looking for a minimum time commitment of 3 days per week – we are open to consider other flexible arrangements or up to 80% hours (within budget); Salary is based on full-time equivalent of £75,000pa. Opportunity for increase with securing of successful financial growth.

Key Areas of Responsibility include:

Leadership:

• Embedding and implementing through the team our 2025-2023 Strategy;
• Providing charity expertise and governance oversight;
• Providing leadership to the remote team following trauma-informed principles;
• Building organisational sustainability through existing donor relationship management and appropriate diversification in fundraising/income generation/donor relationships;
• Building strategic partnerships and alliances.

Strategy

• Provide leadership and direction, reporting to the Board of Directors, on all aspects of the ongoing refinement and implementation of TTIs Strategy, Theory of Change and annual delivery plans;
• Lead a robust culture of evaluation of our impact.

Organisational and finance

• Oversee TTI’s operational and fiscal function and performance, ensuring best practice in all we do.

Stakeholder management

• Publicly represent the organisation, enhancing visibility, developing brand awareness, and demonstrating the impact and value delivered by TTI.
• Engage continuously with donors and funders to build strong relationships and seek new and diverse funding and investment partnerships. 

Key experience and attributes you will need to bring:

• Minimum six years’ experience at senior leadership/management level, ideally gained in non-profit organisation or other humanitarian setting.
•  Some prior experience of interacting with a Board of Directors.
• Experience of financial compliance including demonstrable experience of actively setting and managing budgets, preparing cashflow projections and working with financial reports – this experience is likely to have been gained over at least 3 years’ active, first-hand participation.
• Prior experience of working in a growth environment, ideally having gained involvement in income generation/fundraising.
• Experience working with external funders, partners, and collaborators
• Demonstrate clear understanding of Charity Code and governance obligations including Charity Commission requirements and charity law.
• Possess and demonstrate strong leadership experience and ability to lead with a coaching / mentoring/ trauma-informed style in order to maintain organisational culture, valuing the people of the organisation.

Sands exists to save babies’ lives and ensure that anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby death receives the support and care they need.

The Digital Engagement Officer (Web & Content) will manage the day to day running and continuous improvement of Sands’ websites, ensuring every page is accurate, accessible and on brand. In this exciting new role, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing & Engagement Manager and our external web agency to coordinate technical updates, troubleshoot CMS issues and track progress on support tickets.

Additionally, you will create and optimise web content that inspires, informs and converts by writing copy, sourcing stories and producing simple multimedia assets that resonate with Sands’ priority audiences. You will support campaign landing pages, paid media tracking and monthly KPI reporting, translating data into actionable insights. This will involve working with colleagues across the organisation as part of project groups sharing expert knowledge from the communications and engagement team, and supporting colleagues to successfully make updates to website pages, following best practice guidelines and advice.

By championing best practice in SEO, accessibility and analytics, and by delivering training sessions for colleagues, the role ensures our web presence remains user centred, data driven and fully aligned with Sands’ mission to save babies’ lives and support bereaved families.

Experience of managing websites and CMS, including basic HTML/CSS fixes and troubleshooting is an essential requirement for this role.

You will be able to produce digital content including graphics or videos (e.g. Canva/CapCut) with the ability to support tracking setup using GA4, Tag Manager, and other analytics tools.  Knowledge of SEO, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and user-centred content principles is also required.

Strong copywriting and proofreading skills for digital content are essential, as is experience of compiling and interpreting digital performance reports.  A high level of project coordination skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines is also essential.

The Work Rights Centre is looking for a motivated colleague to support our frontline advice team by acting as the first point of contact for clients, providing efficient triage of cases, and to support the delivery of key projects.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with a strong sense of justice, who values impact, and enjoys client-facing work in a diverse and agile team. We can accommodate hybrid work, and offer 28 days of annual leave in addition to a winter holiday break. 

The role

You will have the opportunity to make a true impact on people’s lives by acting as the first point of contact for clients, and leading the triage of varied enquiries. You will collect and record information about people’s cases, before they are allocated to one of our legal advisers in the Employment or Immigration team, and contribute to client-facing materials. You will also support the smooth running of the organisation by providing administrative and office support.

About you

We seek an enthusiastic frontline worker, who shares our mission to end in-work poverty by helping vulnerable workers find justice, and who has: 

• Two years of experience working in a client-facing capacity

• Experience collecting information, and setting clear client expectations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent time management, demonstrating an ability to juggle multiple tasks

• Knowledge of, and empathy with, experiences of migrants and other vulnerable workers.

• Experience in triaging client enquiries or providing advice in a legal setting would be highly advantageous

As Research Engagement Officer, you will be integral in helping to deliver our engagement programme within the research team. 

You will work with the Research Impact and Engagement Manager to support the embedding of our researcher engagement activity into regular practice, establishing our stewardship programme to bring us closer to our funded researchers and the wider blood cancer research community. We work with some of the most exciting and promising researchers across the UK – this role will ensure that our stewardship programme thrives and that relationships built with our grant holders are maintained throughout their career, with Blood Cancer UK seen as their funder of choice.

The Volunteering & Recruitment Co-ordinator will be a key member of the HR & Operations Team at Richmond Borough Mind – a well-established and diverse mental health charity supporting the local community. With a workforce of approximately 50 staff and as many volunteers, our services include Counselling, Peer Group Activities, Mental Health Training, and Crisis Support.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced co-ordinator to help us nurture and grow our talented team of staff and volunteers.

A natural people-person, you’ll be a confident communicator with a strong instinct for matching individuals to careers, vocational pathways, and volunteer opportunities. Experience in the non-profit sector and an understanding of volunteering are desirable.

You will need:

• A background in volunteer co-ordination and administration within a charity, HR, or equivalent setting

• A solid grasp of employment law, equality, diversity and inclusion, and best practice in HR

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Confidence using a range of IT platforms including SharePoint, online meeting tools, cloud-based database systems, advertising portals, and desktop publishing software
