Reporting into the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Individual Giving team. You will be responsible for the delivery of core elements of the Supporter Acquisition programme, developing engaging communications / products and activity across multiple channels, such as paid search and social, email, telemarketing and offline channels. You will lead and deliver projects for the recruitment of new supporters to identify new audiences, optimise response, grow the supporter base and contribute to the lifetime value of supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead in the development and delivery of Supporter Acquisition campaigns/activity/products across a range of media, with a specific focus on digital channels, in line with strategy, planned budgets and targets, ensuring campaign deadlines are met.
• Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager – Supporter Acquisition to plan, manage and deliver the annual operating plan, including end-to-end project management, making decisions within agreed parameters, providing recommendations for final approval.
• Be responsible for the briefing and the day-to-day management of internal and external suppliers including copy and artwork development through to production, broadcast and final print.
• Monitor and report on campaign/activity/product performance/KPIs (e.g. end of campaign reports, monthly reporting) and analyse results to enhance campaign performance and inform campaign planning, decision making and improvements to Supporter Acquisition.
• Manage the briefing and liaising with the Data team to deliver complex and accurate data selections and reporting requirements.
• Deliver draft budget and reforecasting figures as part of the planning and budgeting process, providing information required, and working closely with the Individual Giving Manager – Supporter Acquisition, to review and reforecast activities for Supporter Acquisition.
Person Specification:
• Experience of applying the principles and techniques of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment, especially through supporter acquisition channels.
• Good project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of best practice digital fundraising, with particular experience of running Search, Social and online campaigns to increase supporters and gather data for future marketing opportunities.
• Experience of managing campaign budgets, reforecast of activity, monitoring, reconciling and reporting on results in line with KPIs.
• Experience of managing external relationships, for example with suppliers, agencies, including effective negotiation re costs and contractual obligations.

By joining our team as an Learning Design and Assessment Manager, you’ll be helping us to support teachers, champion great teaching and raise the status of the profession by supporting teacher professional learning and accreditation. The EdTech Evidence Lead will play a key role in delivering one of our key projects, focusing on EdTech Evidence. Drawing on their experience and knowledge of EdTech, they will support EdTech companies and educators to build understanding about gathering and evaluating evidence for different EdTech products. They will develop guidance and materials to facilitate this, and work with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to develop resources, systems and processes that aim to promote and recognise ‘high-quality’ evidence around EdTech.
Main responsibilities include:
- Developing tools and resources to support individuals and organisations to engage with, and in, gathering and evaluating evidence around EdTech
- Developing guidance and training which helps EdTech companies plan and carry out evidence-gathering activities for their products and prepares them to submit evidence for formal review
- Contributing to the development and delivery of processes and systems for formally reviewing EdTech evidence
- Build relationships with EdTech companies and other key stakeholders to understand their use of evidence relating to EdTech and engage them with the project

2. Purpose of the Role
The core purpose of Finance Assistant’s role is to support the Finance and Resources team at Chance to Shine. The Finance and Resources team provide day to day support to all departments in the charity and trading subsidiary, Chance to Shine Enterprises Ltd, around finance, office, HR and general administration. The role is based at our London office with some working from home allowed.
3. Key Responsibilities
The Finance Assistant’s responsibilities include:
Finance
· Recording and analysing income and expenditure and posting transactions onto SAGE 50 Accounts
· Banking cash and cheques received
- Raising invoices and monitoring debtors
- Administering invoice approval and payment processes
· Operating expense claim procedures and payments
· Liaising with Fundraising team to reconcile income received with Raisers Edge
· Support delivery partner expenditure review process
· Support Finance & Resources department as required with ad hoc administrative support
General support
· To help monitor the finance inbox and respond to general enquiries.

You are:

About the role
- Be a key point of contact for receiving and processing referrals to the Providence Row, Resource Centre.
- Complete assessments of those referred to the Centre
- Make statutory and non-statutory housing referrals dependant on the persons need and eligibility.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including outreach teams, health services, City of London Police and other support organisations.
- Work within the Team Around Me model, engaging closely with the City Outreach Teams and the Navigator service to develop and implement joint action plans for people rough sleeping.
- Connect City clients with essential health services to address tri-morbidity—the complex combination of physical ill health, mental health, and substance use that often affects individuals experiencing chronic homelessness.
- Facilitate referrals to training, employability, and volunteering programs to support long-term stability and independence.

This role will play a leadership role in delivering our ambitious policy influencing programme, helping to shape and implement influencing plans to bring about the changes needed to reduce, prevent and eventually end the need for food banks in the UK. It will provide management and oversight to some of our strategic projects.
Role responsibilities
· Developing and implementing Trussell’s influencing strategy
Working with teams across the organisation to ensure key groups, including our community of food banks, corporate partners, churches and church-related organisations have a clear role in our policy influencing approach.
· Planning and delivering impactful public affairs activity
Ensuring systems are in place to help plan, monitor and evaluate public affairs activity and maximise opportunities to engage with key audiences, including Parliamentarians, advisers, and UK Government Ministers; and support close working with colleagues in all UK nations and regions. Managing the development and delivery of public affairs activity to support high profile influencing campaigns.
· Building and managing strong relationships with key external stakeholders
Developing relationships, partnerships and networks to help raise the profile, credibility and influence of Trussell and our policy positions, particularly in the UK Parliament. Representing Trussell and promoting the organisation’s policy position to key audiences, including in meetings and events with Parliamentarians.
· Developing public affairs support to the food bank community
Working closely with a small team of Network Policy and Research Officers and the Organising and Local Mobilisation team to support our community of food banks to build and maintain strong relationships with their local MPs. Ensuring public affairs activity is well aligned to campaign strategies involving the food bank network.
· Embedding participatory approaches across our public affairs and wider influencing activity
Supporting further development of a participatory approach to policy influencing to ensure it is rooted in the lived experience of individuals affected by poverty. This includes ensuring an ethical approach in line with our values.
· Providing advice and line management
Have line management responsibility for individuals within the team, providing pastoral and development guidance along with task management on key projects. This includes regular 1:1s, objective setting and collaborative monitoring, and support with development needs.
Person Specification
Technical skills and minimum knowledge:
· Track record of successfully influencing politicians and key decision-makers to achieve strategic goals at different levels of government.
· Track record of delivering strategic public affairs activity based on robust evidence, from development to evaluation.
· Can explain components of effective policy influencing, including knowledge of the machinery and structure of government (UK, devolved, local) and experience of informing campaigns activity to mobilise support for policy change.
· Demonstrates a good understanding of policies that affect UK poverty and hunger. Can explain policy motivations of main political parties and can advise on how to influence them most effectively.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in demonstrating enthusiasm and experience when communicating complex topics to non-specialist audiences.
· Experience of line managing, including dealing with performance issues and supporting team development.

The Role
This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across regions, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region.
Mentoring programme
- Manage overall success of the cohorts (groups of mentees and mentors) in your region, including coordinating and administering events and communications for cohorts in your area.
- Deliver engaging on-boarding sessions for mentees.
- Design and deliver events and workshops for mentees.
- Deliver matching of mentees and mentors at in-person events or virtually.
- Work with the wider programme team to train mentors.
- Support mentors once matched through regular check-ins, monthly emails and ad-hoc conversations.
- Collect data to track the progress, and impact of, mentoring relationships.
- Support mentors with safeguarding concerns, following The Girls’ Network process in line with our child protection policy.
- Develop effective relationships with schools, on-boarding, supporting and retaining the partnerships.
Partnerships
- Work with the Senior Network Manager in your area to identify professional partnerships and sponsorship with local and national businesses.
- Work with your Senior Network Manager to identify a recruitment and retention plan for your area including key partners to work with.
- Be an active presence in the community, attending events and networks to encourage local women to mentor on our programme.

- Advocate The Girls’ Network at every opportunity, through local media, PR activities and social media.
- Identify opportunities to build the reputation of The Girls’ Network in your region and through events and networking.
- Report significant successes and achievements to relevant staff members.

- Work with the Programme Team to identify key areas for programme development.
- Opportunities to get involved in programme and wider organisational projects.
- Understand the development of school initiatives nationally and in your region, and understand their impact and implications for The Girls’ Network programmes.

- Maintain and champion a girls-centred way of working.
Other duties
As a small charity with limited resources, all staff are expected to be flexible with their work and as such you may be required to undertake other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

As the Adult Carers Activities Coordinator, you will directly deliver our leisure break activity and training programmes. You will plan, deliver, promote and review a programme of activities for adult carers, including outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing.
