We are seeking a Trusts Fundraising Officer to join our ambitious trusts and foundations team, supporting delivery of the trusts fundraising plan and maximising grant income. The successful candidate will contribute to developing compelling proposals to secure funding, provide excellent stewardship of donors to build long term relationships, and research new trust prospects.
Proven experience of successful trusts fundraising is essential, and the candidate will need to be proactive, naturally well organised, with the ability to craft powerful cases for support. An understanding of fundraising from trusts for medical research causes is desirable.
You will support the Head of Trusts Fundraising in maximising income from charitable trusts and foundations to meet and exceed financial targets; identifying new trusts and increasing the number and value of gifts.
Main tasks and Responsibilities
1. To support the Head of Trusts Fundraising in implementing the three-year strategic plan for Trust Fundraising, and in delivering an effective annual plan and budget that will enable Action Medical Research to maximise income from charitable trusts and foundations.
2. To develop and manage excellent relationships with existing and potential donors, particularly small and medium trusts.
3. To liaise with the Research department to identify appropriate projects to present to potential donors and to manage and report on restricted donations for specific medical research projects
4. To regularly research and monitor new target trusts building a strong pipeline of prospects.
5. To develop and write compelling and persuasive proposals to present to prospects and donors.
6. To ensure that trusts that have made restricted donations are kept appropriately informed of progress against the research work which they are funding and, in the longer term, of the impact that their support has achieved.
7. To manage allocated charity partnerships where co-funding medical research, agreeing trusts which may be individually or jointly approached, raising invoices and reporting at agreed intervals.
8. To ensure continuing dialogue with trusts which have the potential to support our work in the future.
9. To ensure that Raisers Edge and the grant link schedule are kept up to date.
10. To work with Supporter Care to ensure timely notice of donations to enable the Trusts team to give speedy appreciation of support.
11. To work with colleagues across the charity, and other external stakeholders, to advocate for trust fundraising, identify opportunities and support colleagues in overlapping fundraising objectives.
12. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Action Medical Research, the principles governing the funding of research and the projects being funded.
13. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the trust marketplace and competitive influences on it.
14. Keep the Head of Trusts Fundraising fully informed of activities at all times and work closely with the Trusts Fundraising Officer.

This role will help deliver the Oasis St Martins Village aims and mission by ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective site and facilities service, aligned with the ethos and values of Oasis St Martin’s Village.
What will you do?
This newly formed role will be embedded within the site management team. To be successful in this role, applicants will be required to:
- Assist the Senior Premises Officer with maintenance tasks as required to ensure a safe and effective working environment. Must be able perform basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry, painting, changing locks etc.)
- Assist with water testing, testing of alarms and other routine tasks as directed.
- Set and un-set the site alarm systems when required.
- Assist with the opening and closing, unlocking and locking of the site gates and buildings, including evening and weekend use.
- Be responsible for the security of the site when on duty including the locking of all doors and windows.
- Assist the events manager with delivery of events, particularly during evenings and weekends.
- Assist with the cleaning of the site as and when needed.
- Assist with room setup and moving of furniture safely. This includes preparing spaces to host events and functions, packing down and cleaning afterwards. And to service ongoing regular lettings.

Purpose
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual ensuring that all of Ella’s premises, including the office, community hub, and safe houses, are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and a welcoming environment for staff and service users. This role combines practical facilities work with proactive oversight of supplier management and property maintenance systems.
You will play a key role in maintaining the smooth daily running of our operations, managing contractors and compliance records, and supporting Ella's growth and improvement in facilities management.

Job description:
We are looking for a motivated Finance Officer to join our team and support the day-to-day accounting functions across Norfolk Rivers Trust and its trading arm Rivers Ecology Limited. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Finance, helping to maintain accurate financial records, provide timely reporting, and support project teams with budget monitoring. Key duties and responsibilities
1. Financial Processes
- Ensure all financial activities are correctly entered into the company’s accounting system, including both purchase and sales ledgers, and the general ledgers for Norfolk Rivers Trust and its trading arm, Rivers Ecology Limited.
- Oversee supplier payments and prepare regular payment runs, managing new supplier details and bank amendments securely.
- Manage the sales invoicing process to ensure income is invoiced, recorded, and followed up promptly.
- Oversee monthly entry of staff timesheets and expenses into the accounting system.
- Complete and maintain timely bank reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.

Purpose of the job
This role creates a positive impact for young people by providing practical and operational support for the delivery of Year 3 of the Summer Jobs programme. The Summer Jobs Programme (funded by the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) (YEF) and Youth Futures Foundation (YFF)) offers young people, aged 16-20 who are at risk of violence, a six-week paid work placement. The programme aims to improve the young person’s wellbeing and mental health while supporting them with employability skills and self-confidence. The young person is supported by a dedicated youth worker as part of their placement.
Planning is now underway for the 2026 programme, which aims to support a further 860 young people through placements across England and Wales. The initiative draws inspiration from successful programmes in the US and builds on the achievements of the first two years years. The Summer Jobs Programme has engaged over 800 young participants since its inception in 2024

What you will be doing
The Delivery Officer (Good for Girls) will deliver the programme's day-to-day operations and the broader mental health offer to London Youth members. You will deliver Good for Girls, a youth club-based mental health and well-being programme. You will support 10 youth organisations to engage young people in the programme, which enables young women and girls to participate in regular well-being activities and training for young Londoners.
Lead the delivery of the Good for Girls programme
- Coordinate Good for Girls to meet key delivery targets, secure the target recruitment of member organisations, youth workers and young people, and oversee the onboarding process.

About the Project
The National Lottery funded Meddwl Ymlaen Mind Our Future project is led by The Venture on behalf of the North East Wales partnership. The aim is to empower young people aged 11 to 24 to shape mental health services across Wrexham and Flintshire. Young people will co develop and influence policy, processes and services that affect their mental wellbeing.
Overview of the Role
The Senior Youth Engagement Officer will lead the youth engagement and co production elements of the project. A key part of the role is to lead and facilitate the Young Leaders Advisory Board (YLAB), made up of 11 to 24 year olds who guide the direction of the project. The post holder will support their leadership development, confidence and decision making.
The role also includes developing a strategy to recruit and engage more young people, delivering a calendar of youth led events, and ensuring young voices shape all aspects of the project. The officer will represent Mind Our Future in meetings with stakeholders and support young people recruited into paid roles within the project.
