About the Role:

This role is crucial in the long-term retention and growth of our partnership revenue streams. The role requires strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills to maintain and nurture mutually beneficial strategic alliances to enhance Urban Synergy’s capacity and reach. The position also provides value to our partners and will ensure our collaborations with businesses, foundations, government agencies, and non-profit organisations are sponsored, supported, and sustainable.

We will be looking for someone who can offer more to really get themselves stuck into Urban Synergy to help grow the company and develop the role into their own.

What You'll Do:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Corporate partners within FTSE 250.

Develop and implement a partnership strategy to enhance financial support and resources for Urban Synergy programmes.

Develop tailored partnership packages that align with the philanthropic priorities and interests of our Corporate partners.

Prepare compelling and professionally written proposals and presentations to potential corporate partners. Ensure they are aligned with the interests of potential partners.

Effectively communicate the impact and benefits of partnerships to prospective sponsors.

Lead negotiations and finalise partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with Urban Synergy's values and goals.

Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.

Collaborate with programme managers to ensure seamless integration of corporate partnerships into Urban Synergy's initiatives.

Provide regular updates to the leadership team on partnership progress and outcomes.

Work closely with the finance team to manage and report on the financial aspects of corporate partnerships.

Ensure budgetary alignment with partnership goals and objectives.

Who we are looking for:

Proven experience in a partnership development or similar role, preferable within the non-profit sector.

Bachelors’ Degree in Business, management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Works collaboratively within a team and also work independently

Comes with ideas and suggestions on how to develop and nurture our partnerships.

Self-starter, who is results-oriented with a track record of achieving fundraising targets.

About the role

We’re recruiting a senior officer for our Service Pledge programme, who will play a key role in the development and delivery of our service improvement activities.

The Service Pledge is an innovative programme dedicated to delivering lasting positive change to everyone’s experience of breast cancer. It brings patients, healthcare professionals and cancer alliances together to work in partnership to design and deliver patient-centred improvements.

Your role will be to coordinate the delivery of our Service Pledge programme, as well as supporting other healthcare professional support and engagement initiatives, helping to ensure everyone diagnosed with breast cancer receives the best possible experience of care.

Working closely with the brand, marketing, communications team and other colleagues across breast cancer now to ensure all patient experience work is consistent with brand guidelines and have a joined up approach across the UK.

About you

Are you an experienced project manager, able to demonstrate successful delivery within specified timelines and budgets? You’ll be able to develop and manage strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior healthcare professionals and people affected by breast cancer.

You’ll have experience of carrying out qualitative and quantitative insight research, including surveys and focus groups. You will also have experience and knowledge of patient involvement and/or service improvement, ideally either within the NHS or charity sector.

Operational Leadership:

The role is a job share and based at our beautiful Grade 2 listed building in Southwark. It is based on 16 hours per week working Thursdays and Fridays, with the potential to extend beyond the initial period of maternity cover.  Remote working is not appropriate for this role.

Our Centre houses an amazing collection of 25,000 children’s books as well as being a training and event centre for teachers, publishers and everyone else who works with children’s literature and cares about children’s literacy.

In one week you could be doing any number of things from ensuring our teachers can access the right equipment for their training, to planning a book launch with our librarian, welcoming our trustees to a meeting, scoping and overseeing maintenance works around our building, or looking after a famous children’s author.

Reporting to our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), our Centre Manager will: 

• Ensure efficient processes and quality facilities are in place to support the daily operations of our staff, our visitors and other organisations that share our building 

• Maintain the building to ensure that the Centre can function as a public space that looks great, and is secure and safe 

• Be a welcoming and generous host for visitors to our Charity and for event hires at the Centre 

• Support the CEO in maintaining HR systems and processes that adhere to best practice 

• Ensure our staff have the tools available to do their best work by overseeing the outsourced IT support company and maintaining our IT systems and assets.

The person we are looking for will have:

We are seeking a Data and Impact Officer to join us to work closely with our Head of Data and Impact and Impact and Evaluation Manager. The role will include administering and developing our database, helping to assess the impact of our
programmes, and producing reports for varied audiences including staff members delivering the IntoUniversity programme
in our centres. As part of a small team, you’ll be involved in providing key data support from the start.

Full training in Excel, Salesforce and data analysis will be provided by the charity’s experts. Prior experience in these areas is not essential, as long as you are a quick learner who is keen to develop your skills. The role is busy and fast-paced. You’ll be meticulous, organised and work to high standards, with a sharp eye for detail. Overview of the International Chief Outreach Officer

The International Chief Outreach Officer (ICOO) will assume responsibility for all international communications, outreach and emerging countries and reports to the International Chief Executive Officer
This position will ensure that the ministry is maximising its potential and impact in raising prayers, awareness and donations for Barnabas Aid, whilst upholding its distinct Christian identity.

Sightsavers is looking for a Legacy Manager - a vital role within our in-house Legacy team to manage and operate the administration of all legacies received by Sightsavers

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per year - depending upon experience

Location: UK remote - with occasional travel to Haywards Heath, West Sussex when required

Each year Sightsavers receives over £10m from gifts in the wills of our generous supporters. Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Legacies, the Legacy Manager will manage and operate the administration of all legacies received by Sightsavers in the UK and Ireland, liaising with Executors, Solicitors, Trust Corporations, together with Legacy Managers/ Officers at other charities.

Key duties include:

• managing and developing our small, dedicated legacy team
• maximising potential funds for Sightsavers, whilst protecting the reputation of the charity
• optimising the collection of legacy income in line with current legal frameworks
• complying with internal and external audit and compliance requirements in relation to legacy administration
• providing a legal and advisory service through the Head of Function

About you - skills and experience

We are looking for an individual with outstanding customer service and strong technical and influencing skills as well as bags of tact and diplomacy and a team ethos.  

You will have: 

• previous experience in Charity Legacy Management or equivalent areas of specialism in the legal sector, ideally with managerial responsibility, with the Institute of Legacy Management Certificate CICLA (Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration), STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) qualification or equivalent
• demonstrable experience of working in a senior position in the legacy department of a charity or Probate department of a firm of Solicitors, Bank or Trust Corporation
• good finance and accounting knowledge, particularly estate accounts, investment management and share valuations
• strong knowledge of relevant Charity Law legislation
• strong knowledge of relevant Probate and Trust Law and procedures
• working knowledge of GDPR
• experience of working with the FirstClass legacy management system (desirable)

The team mostly work from home however, our expectation is that we will need the successful candidate to be able to travel to the offices in Haywards Heath, West Sussex (RH16 3BW) at least once per quarter but there is also the option to work in the office for three days per week, working the other two days from home. It’s an easy 20-minute train journey from Brighton or 45 minutes from London. We’re located close to Haywards Heath rail station and on lots of bus routes. Please note that this role must be worked from within the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Philanthropic Partnerships to develop and implement a long-term major donor strategy.
• Identify, research, and engage prospective major donors.
• Cultivate and manage high-value relationships, leading on face-to-face solicitations.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand funding needs and develop compelling cases for support.
• Ensure excellent donor stewardship, including regular reporting and impact updates.
• Maintain accurate records using CRM systems and support wider fundraising activities where needed.

What They’re Looking For

• Proven experience in securing significant philanthropic gifts.
• Strong track record in developing donor pipelines and writing compelling funding proposals.
• Confidence and credibility in managing high-level relationships.
• Skilled at working independently, with initiative and focus.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams effectively.
• Strong understanding of donor stewardship and fundraising best practice.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a NI Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager to join Concern Worldwide (UK) on a full time, permanent term basis.

About the Role

The Partnerships and Philanthropy Manager will play a key role in driving income growth through philanthropy and strategic partnerships across Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Northern Ireland Director, with a dotted line to the UK Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, this role will contribute to the delivery of an ambitious growth strategy. The post-holder will build and steward relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic organisations to ensure alignment with national and regional objectives. They will also lead and support their direct report, ensuring a collaborative, high-performing fundraising team.

About You

You will have proven experience securing high-value philanthropic gifts from trusts, foundations, major donors, and corporate partners. You will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to build strong relationships and negotiate. You are strategic and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting and exceeding fundraising targets. To succeed in this role, you will be experienced with team management and/or contributing to a high performing teams’ success. Finally, you will hold a full driving licence and have access to a car to be considered for this role.

About our office
 
Our Belfast office is based in a listed building in a busy area close to lots of useful local amenities.

Concern is currently trialling a hybrid model. Staff are expected to come into their base office once per week or the monthly equivalent i.e. 4 times per month. Staff are also able to flex their start and finish times between the hours of 7am to 7pm daily.
