Digital Content Creator

We are looking for a highly creative digital marketing specialist to create and deliver engaging and inspiring content across our range of digital channels.
Ensuring our digital presence supports and enhances our business offering and delivers our messages effectively, the role requires a creative, digitally savvy individual with proven experience of developing and delivering successful digital marketing campaigns.
You will be a social media whizz, have strong design skills, know your way around a digital camera, and have experience in copywriting and proofreading. From coming up with new ideas for delivering digital content, to managing social channels and developing our websites, this is a truly varied role and the opportunity is there for you to really make it your own.

Your role will be key to all of these - delivering email and paid marketing that feels personal to each supporter and lands when and where they want to see it. As part of our Digital Team and our wider Marketing and Communications Team, you will deliver innovative campaigns and projects that make a real difference.
This role is perfect for a hands-on digital marketer who has the technical skills and experience to lead on two key areas of our digital marketing; email marketing and paid digital advertising and measure their effectiveness.
This role will be crucial for ensuring our current community receives relevant, engaging communications via email and cutting through the noise with paid digital advertising to reach new audiences.

- Working with accessibility and inclusivity in mind.
- Being proactive, organised and creative, responsible for delivering on projects.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Press and Campaigns Officer to raise the profile of Carers First, building our brand awareness and engagement levels to reach new carers. The successful candidate will also help to raise awareness of the issues affecting carers and be responsible for our press and media activity, helping us to secure national and local coverage.
You will work to increase the charity’s local presence improving visibility and helping to increase engagement with Carers First across all the areas in which we work, supporting with the development and delivery of our campaigns and projects.
To be successful you will require 1-2 years of experience in a public relations or communications position, ideally within the charity or public sectors, excellent IT skills including ability to use Microsoft Office suite, along with superb organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines and show attention to detail.
