The Royal Court Theatre has an exciting opportunity for someone to join People team as People and Governance Coordinator.
This role is central to the internal operations of the Royal Court, providing high-quality coordination and administration that underpins how we support our staff, deliver effective governance, and maintain a positive workplace culture. The postholder will oversee key HR procedures, systems and records (including recruitment and payroll support), coordinate trustee and board activity, and ensure clear and consistent internal communications across all teams.
Alongside this core administration, the role offers an opportunity to develop as a trusted People Partner for our Front of House and Catering teams, providing first-line guidance on people matters and gaining insight into the internal management of a leading cultural charity. Handling a high volume of correspondence, processes, and confidential information, the post requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and discretion.
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment (not necessarily arts-specific).
- Have practical experience in HR and/or recruitment, ideally supporting onboarding, payroll processes and employee lifecycle documentation
- Have excellent written and verbal communication, with attention to detail and the ability to tailor communications for different audiences.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, balancing competing priorities

The ideal candidate
We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to be our named competent person for statutory compliance; covering health & safety, fire, water hygiene, electrical safety and environmental standards. You’ll coordinate planned and reactive maintenance - liaising with external contractors, keep accurate compliance records, and produce clear, risk-based reports for senior management. You’ll work with a high degree of autonomy, escalating issues and key strategic budget decisions as required.
What you’ll do
- Own compliance and risk management, maintaining live risk assessments and closing remedial actions within required timescales.
- Schedule and evidence statutory checks and liaise with approved contractors and maintain accurate records.
- Track maintenance spend and provide monthly variance reporting; support value-for-money supplier arrangements.

About the role

The Community Forest Trust (CFT) supports, enables and champions the work of England’s Community Forests, who are the leading woodland creation network in England. We provide a range of support services for the forests including finance functions, payroll and accountable body for funded projects.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Finance and Operations Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with the organisation’s financial policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a finance role, competency with accounting software and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
You will also provide support to the CFT Managing Director and team, including diary management, booking travel and accommodation, supporting project delivery and arranging meetings and events. Key Responsibilities
Finance Work
- Check, process and record payments in accordance with agreed procedures, administer invoices and expenses claims received, ensuring they are forwarded for authorisation in a timely manner, correctly coded and posted on the finance system
- Prepare purchase invoices, add to the payment spreadsheet ready for weekly payment run processing
- Run the Weekly Credit Control cycle, ensuring invoices are raised and sent on time and monitoring aged debtors, chasing late payments as required
- Reconcile the credit cards and bank account and ensure the financial system is up to date
- Support the Finance manager in month end procedures
- Draft monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and finance reports

Operations Support

Person Specification
Essential:
- English and Maths GCSE A-C or equivalent

- Good working knowledge of key accountancy software such as Quick Books or SAGE
- Administration experience, including providing support for colleagues, arranging meetings/events

Job Purpose:

Director of Finance, People and Operations
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance, People and Operations to lead central functions and help shape future success.
Salary: £67,000–£76,000 pro rata (depending on experience)

About the Role

Inter Mediate is a London-based peacemaking charity supporting confidential negotiations in some of the world’s most challenging conflicts. Now in its second decade of operations, Inter Mediate is seeking a Projects Manager to join our small, specialised team to support our work on dialogue processes and sensitive negotiations, with a particular focus on Asia. Our work in Asia covers conflicts in South and East Asia.
The Projects Manager will be responsible for:
· Supporting and implementing Inter Mediate’s existing projects portfolio of peace talks and other high-level peace initiatives;
· Building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders in conflict and peace processes, mainly in South and East Asia.;
· Identifying and developing entry points for new projects;
· Monitoring and analysing political developments across areas relevant to Inter Mediate’s work;
· Preparing project proposals and budgets, narrative and financial reporting, and collecting evidence of project impact.
Specific responsibilities:
· Working with the relevant Project Directors to support the development, management and delivery of existing Inter Mediate conflict resolution and dialogue projects, with a geographic focus on South and East Asia;
· Developing and sustaining relationships with key partners and interlocutors, both directly and remotely, travelling frequently to project/meeting locations;
· Drafting meeting reports, note verbales, preparatory briefs and memos as required;
· Leading research necessary to deliver projects;
· Preparing programme budgets in consultation with relevant team members and ensuring timely and efficient financial planning and management;
· Managing relationships with key project donors, preparing donor reports and updates in coordination with the Operations Team and identifying and scoping additional funding opportunities and relationships;
· Managing complex logistical arrangements in relation to high level and sensitive meetings and dialogues;
· Working with the Projects Director on compiling project progress reports for senior management/trustees’ meetings; and
· Representation of Inter Mediate in external forums where appropriate.
Person Specification - Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Successful candidates would need to demonstrate:
· A masters degree in politics, conflict resolution and peacebuilding, international affairs, public policy or an equivalent subject. Relevant work experience (with a preferred focus on Asia) may be accepted in lieu;
· At least 6 years of work experience in conflict resolution or peace process support for a governmental, non-governmental or inter-governmental organisation, or an equivalent field such as diplomacy, humanitarian access, or international development;
· Experience of project management including finance/budgeting and reporting.
· Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to manage logistics in sensitive and high pressure situations;
· Evidence of strong cross-cultural interpersonal skills required in operating across multiple geographical and cultural contexts;
· Deep understanding of and interest in politics and conflict resolution in general and with a particular focus on South Asia;
· Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with senior interlocutors and IM’s partners;
· Proven experience of fundraising and management of donor relationships;
· Excellent English language skills and proven writing/drafting ability for a variety of audiences;
· Hindi/Urdu/Bengali/Chinese language skills would be highly desirable and an advantage for candidates;
· Ability and willingness to undertake regular international travel;
· Flexibility and adaptability to support the smooth running of a small team, and willingness to take an “all-hands-on-deck” approach when required.

How are staff supported to work remotely?
VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.
When you need to travel for work, expenses will be paid (mileage or public transport costs).
VoiceAbility offers the usual regular manager one to ones, Staff forums and communities of practice depending on role. Team meetings with a mix of virtual and in person approach.
