We are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to work in a dedicated Programmes and Grants directorate, working at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.

Key responsibilities:

• You will be central to our work in the delivery of innovative and impactful grant-making.
• You will lead on the delivery of key, new and existing funding programmes, relationships and portfolios, sourcing and making recommendations on complex and strategically important requests for funding and building effective relationships with our grant holders.
• You will also work closely across our Impact and Evidence, Employer Engagement and Public Policy & Communications teams to ensure successful applicants are supported to deliver high quality, impactful projects that will build the evidence base of “What Works” to support the most disadvantaged young people into good jobs.
• The Senior Relationship Manager will also work with the Head of Programme & Grants to support the line management and development of Relationship Managers and Senior Grants Officers as required.

This role is on a 12 month fixed term contract and can be based at any of our hubs located in Birmingham, Leeds or London. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

Dartington Service Design Lab is a national charity that harnesses experience, cutting edge evidence and design to tackle the challenges children and young people face today, securing thriving futures for tomorrow. As we move forward with our refreshed strategy, we are looking for a new Director of Finance and Operations to join our Senior Leadership Team.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the Lab’s operational heart; from finance and governance to people, culture, IT and compliance. You'll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure our infrastructure is not only effective and efficient, but enabling of bold, systemic work across the UK. The role balances high level financial strategy and organisational leadership with routine financial reporting, oversight of day-to-day operations and actively supporting team wellbeing. It will suit someone confident operating strategically at an Executive and Board level, but who’s also comfortable rolling up their sleeves in a small, agile organisation.

We are seeking someone with significant experience in finance and operations leadership, ideally in a non-profit, consultancy or values driven setting, who is committed to equity, anti-racism, and social justice. The role:

About the Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Interim Head of Finance & Operations leads on and assumes day to day responsibility for providing high quality, strategic financial management for Career Ready.

Main responsibilities and accountabilities

· Lead, direct and manage the finance and operations functions, overseeing two direct reports, ensuring they deliver a high-quality service to all internal and external stakeholders and are seen as adding value, in enabling Career Ready to achieve its vision and strategic objectives through its people. 

· Continue the delivery of a project plan reflecting the 2025-30 strategy, ensuring that activities happen at pace, are deadline-driven and achieve a high level of impact.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Officer to lead on administrative support to the charity under the direction of the Project Manager, supporting on engagement with various stakeholders and networks. The goal of the post is to ensure that The Welcome Directory can effectively develop the reach of our work and achieve exponential growth, by maximising administrative efficiency. 

Whilst this is a 6-month contract, there is the potential to extend where funding permits.

The role will include:

Leading on operational projects, including:

• Faith community engagement
  • Processing faith/ belief community registrations and maintaining records
  • Approaching existing and prospective faith/ belief communities, including follow up to the annual survey and periodical team campaigns
• Assisting with the production of the annual physical directory
• Co-ordinating the annual Affiliates Scheme
• Researching new initiatives or solutions

Supporting events, including:

• Support in the administration of the online Prisons Awareness Course and other webinar events, including technical support
• Planning bi-annual team days and any one-off events, in consultation with the Project Manager
• Planning bi-annual team campaign periods, in consultation with the Project Manager and Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
• Preparing resources and/or PowerPoint presentations and booking logistics, in consultation with the Project Manager and the Communications & Fundraising Officer

Leading on administration, including:

• Answering phone, email, and letter enquiries
• Purchasing of supplies and dispatch of resources
• Co-ordinating and setting up meetings
• Collating routine data and creating trackers to support operations
• Creating an annual team planner
• Taking minutes at specific meetings
• Leading on team password management
• Following up with stakeholders as required

Supporting on financial operations, including:

• Processing expenses claims and issuing internal invoices
• Paying-in cheques and paying external invoices
• Maintaining the organisational asset register

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our supported accommodation services for people experiencing homelessness. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about providing high-quality support to individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance misuse, and a history of offending.

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a Complex Needs and Emergency Accomodation provision, ensuring that people we work alongside receive person-centred, trauma-informed support in a safe and welcoming environment. You will lead and develop a team of support workers, providing guidance and motivation to ensure they can effectively support residents in working towards independence. A key part of the role will involve working in partnership with external agencies to ensure the people we support can access the services they need. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards.

We are looking for someone with experience managing homelessness or supported housing services, who has strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred support and experience working with individuals facing homelessness, mental health challenges, and substance misuse. Strong communication skills and the ability to build partnerships with external agencies are essential, along with a sound knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and housing-related support.

Leading a team of three, this role is responsible for cultivating and managing existing high-value philanthropic relationships, expanding our high-value networks and further embedding a culture of philanthropy across our hospitals and charity.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding and experience in working with high-net-worth individuals to secure 5-6 figure gifts. Communication skills (both verbally and in writing) ideally gained within a fundraising or sales/business development environment. They will be a self-starter with an appetite to make unsolicited approaches to individuals, along with the ability to develop and grow lasting relationships with high-net-worth individuals, charitable trust and foundations.  They will have strong time management skills, a motivation to work towards and achieve targets, and an appreciation of working for the NHS.
