Outline of the role

The IT Manager at IAPB will be responsible for overseeing our IT systems, infrastructure and digital services, ensure they are reliable, secure and aligned with IAPB needs. This role will provide leadership on IT strategy, manage day to day operations, be the key liaison with our outsourced IT provider and support staff to use technology effectively to deliver our mission. We have staff located both in the UK and globally, so working effectively with and understanding the needs of our diverse workforce is key.

Scope and accountability

Reporting to Head of Finance, the post holders role will include:

1. IT strategy and planning

• Conduct a full review of all IT systems and processes
• Develop and deliver the IT strategy in line with organisational goals
• Advise SMT on technology opportunities, risks and best practice
• Ensure systems are scalable, cost-effective and future-ready

2. Systems and infrastructure

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, cyber security and other relevant regulations

5. Management and leadership

• Manage the relationship with external IT provider

General 

•  The role requires working and communicating at both strategic and operational level – so getting involved in detail as and when required. The post holder will therefore need to comfortable and skilled in working in both ways.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Information Governance Officer, with a passion for delivering compliance in an organisation that positively impacts the communities we serve. This new role comes at an exciting time as the Fund is launching its new Digital Strategy. The new strategy will provide opportunities to get involved in some interesting and innovative projects to assist in your development in Information Governance.  

In this new role, you will be assisting the Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer with day to day task management such as:

• Data breach recording, investigation and resolution,
• First point of contact for processing requests from customers and individuals within statutory timescales,
• Responding to internal data protection queries,
• Management of Information Governance communication channels including SharePoint
• Assisting with projects.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ideally have 1 – 2 years’ experience working in an Information Governance role. The role requires the successful candidate to work both independently and as part of the wider Information Governance team, work to internal and regulatory deadlines and be able to respond to data protection queries, escalating issues to the IG Manager when necessary.

We have a hybrid approach to working, however the role can be predominantly home working, with occasional travel to a Fund office. Work pattern and location will be agreed with the successful candidate. The role can be based at any of our UK offices: Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle, and Newtown.

Job Summary 

Working with the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager, this role supports high-value corporate partnerships through engagement, stewardship, and identifying new opportunities aligned with the charity’s goals. This newly established role in the income team reflects the growth of MHI’s partnerships and offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious corporate fundraiser with a passion for digital mental health. MHI is at a pivotal point in its development, having experienced significant growth since launching in 2017. Over the past 18 months, a primary focus has been on cultivating several major partners to support our core services (Shout and The Mix) and the development of three new digital mental health products. We are now looking to focus on these key partners, while expanding our portfolio of new opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support with high value corporate partnerships, including the delivery of employee engagement activities and communications, fundraising events and challenges
• Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship and identifying and maximising opportunities for wider engagement
• Support the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to steward and engage partners and prospects, including thought leadership, communications, events, volunteering and fundraising activities
• Support with business development, utilising Salesforce, Pearlfinders and LinkedIn to identify and track opportunities
