ISWAN has recently reorganised the management of our helpline services and created this new role, which will be pivotal to further developing our quality service to seafarers. We have seen significant growth in the number and usage of our helplines and now seek to recruit a second Helplines Operations Manager to ensure we have a management structure capable of coping with further growth.

As one of two Helplines Operations Managers, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of ISWAN’s helplines to ensure our services provide accurate information, appropriate advice, and comprehensive support to seafarers and their families.  

You will manage the development of Salesforce and be familiar with Salesforce reporting, particularly using advanced tools like Power BI and Tableau. You will be confident liaising with our IT support service on system issues and developments. 

We have no preconceptions about where the successful applicant will come from but you will bring experience of managing multi-channelled contact centre operations and best practice as well as delivering user and client service improvements.

You will need to be capable of working effectively within a complex international context and have sound experience of service development. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) but we are keen to find the right person and therefore happy to discuss flexible working patterns. The role is fully remote and we are flexible about where you are based but you will be working with staff across the UK, India and the Philippines so you will need to be a great team player.

About The Bridge Homelessness To Hope

We began in 2008 with a mission to help people who are homeless in Leicester by providing them with hot food, drinks and most importantly, companionship and we have evolved from there to the service we provide today.

Our staff team and volunteers derive from many backgrounds and religions, all with one common goal: to help those who are on the street move from despair to hope.

We are an outreach to the homeless and to those who just have nowhere to go and no-one to turn to. Through our Hub we support those who are hardest to reach by seeking to:​

Purpose of the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Operations Manager ensures the effective day-to-day running of The Bridge Homelessness To Hope’s services — including Drop-In Hub and supported accommodation — maintaining safe, high-quality delivery and ensuring that staff and volunteers are supported to provide compassionate and effective support for people experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Management

· Work with the CEO to ensure The Bridge Homelessness To Hope’s mission and values are lived out in practice.

3. People Management

 General

This job description describes the major responsibilities and accountabilities associated with the post of Operational Manager.It is not intended to be exhaustive and it should not be assumed that other duties of a similar level/nature appropriate to the role of Operational Manager are excluded simply because they are not itemised.Similarly, it should be recognised that the duties of the post may alter due to changes in legislation or policy or the business needs of the charity.Where such changes occur, training may be given where reasonable to enable the post-holder to undertake the new or varied work.

The Operational Manager is a key advocate for The Brazelton Centre and is expected to display the highest levels of personal and professional integrity at all times and to always act in a way which reflects positively on the organisation.

Job Title: Operations Manager – Neighbourhood Services

Role Purpose As Operations Manager – Neighbourhood Services, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of tenancy and neighbourhood management services across designated geographical patches. You will manage and develop a multi-disciplinary team, using performance data and resident insight to drive service improvements, enhance resident satisfaction, and create safe, cohesive communities.

Working closely with the Head of Neighbourhood Services and a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the strategic plan for neighbourhood services, with safeguarding, compliance, and resident-centred outcomes at the core.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of housing professionals to deliver a visible, consistent, and high-quality housing management service.
• Ensure effective tenancy management, estate inspections, enforcement action, and resolution of anti-social behaviour in line with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong partnerships with local authorities, police, support agencies, and community organisations to keep neighbourhoods safe and support vulnerable residents.
• Prepare performance reports and contribute to governance/board-level reporting as required.

Data-Driven Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Use data, trend analysis, and resident insight to monitor performance, identify risks early, and implement improvement plans.
• Embed a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the team.
• Support the development and delivery of service transformation and digital innovation projects.

Customer Focus & Tenancy Sustainment

• Ensure services are inclusive, accessible, and responsive to diverse resident needs.
• Proactively identify residents at risk of tenancy failure and coordinate early intervention with internal and external support services to prevent homelessness.
• Lead or support the development and annual review of tenancy management policies and processes.
• Oversee the resolution of complex complaints, ensuring learning is embedded into service improvements.

Neighbourhood & Estate Management

• Implement a robust estate inspection framework to maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained neighbourhoods.
• Promote community cohesion through resident engagement initiatives, events, and partnership projects.
• Identify opportunities to leverage social value and external funding for community-benefit projects.

Compliance & Risk

• Ensure full compliance with relevant housing legislation, regulatory consumer standards, data protection, and health & safety requirements.
• Identify and manage safeguarding risks, escalating appropriately and working with specialist agencies.
• Maintain operational risk registers and contribute to business-continuity planning.

Budget & Resource Management

• Manage delegated operational budgets, delivering value for money and aligning spend with strategic priorities.

Student Journey & Records Management

> Oversee the full student journey including attendance, extensions, interruptions, withdrawals, and progression changes.

> Annual and monthly registration returns to the validating university

> Respond to student and tutor enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face.

> Maintain the student record system with accurate and timely updates.

> Coordinate with the College team to ensure communication of all student movements.

Registry Communications & Administration

> Manage the Registry inbox ensuring responses within three working days.

> Set academic calendars and timetables in liaison with Programme Leaders and the Venue Manager.

> Release grades on Moodle and ensure accurate transfer to student record systems.

> Prepare papers and minutes for academic meetings including Research Ethics Committee.

Compliance, Policy & Regulation

> Maintain understanding of validating university regulations and Waverley Abbey College policies.

> Monitor student compliance with academic requirements.

> Contribute to audits and programme validation/revalidation. Assessment & Progression Boards

> Liaise with students regarding late or missing submissions.

> Coordinate marking progress with tutors.

> Prepare External Examiner documentation and grade sheets.

> Notify students of Assessment Board outcomes.

> Coordinate with Student Finance to resolve outstanding fees.

> Support graduation processes and eligibility checks.

Our client has been the artistic heart and soul of Highland Perthshire, attracting over 100,000 visitors every year. The theatre has ambitions to increase fundraising capability to improve lives by sharing Pitlochry with the world and the world with Pitlochry. Now, they will recruit a new Prospect Research and Operations Manager and Prospectus is delighted to lead the search.  This role is offered on a permanent basis with hybrid working from the theatre and home.

The Prospect Research and Operations Manager will strength the organisation’s fundraising infrastructure by managing prospect research, pipeline development, data management, and operational delivery across all income streams. This Manager will be responsible for leading on the reporting on moves management and informing the wider Development team of giving trends. Reporting to the Director of Development, you will create templates and systems to aid efficiency of processes and assist colleagues to successfully cultivate and steward major donors.

The selected candidate will have proven experience in prospect research, experience in managing systems and pipelines to create insight and will have the proven ability to analyse, interpret and present data clearly. You will ideally have experience in a performing arts or cultural setting and will have knowledge fundraising trends and practice across various income streams.

We are seeking a practical, well-organised, and solutions-focused Site and Operations Manager to support the smooth running, safety, and day-to-day operations of this unique heritage site.

This role is one of two complementary part-time positions forming a collaborative partnership model. You will work closely with the Community and Volunteer Engagement Manager to ensure a well-maintained, safe, and welcoming site for visitors, volunteers, hirers, and contractors.
