As The Stoll Foundation enters a new chapter, an opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Heritage Project Officer to join our team and oversee the day-to-day delivery of a 2.5-year heritage project. Veterans’ Voices: 100 Years of Housing Heroes is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to launch an ambitious project exploring the rich history of The Stoll Foundation while engaging our residents through workshops and events and building lasting ties with the local community.

Veterans’ Voices: 100 Years of Housing Heroes
The Heritage Project is a direct response to the sale of our main site, the historic Sir Oswald Stoll Mansions, which will be handed over to our neighbours Chelsea FC in 2027. While residents of the Mansions will move to nearby, higher-quality accommodation in the new build development of King’s Road Park, aspects of our heritage including the Mansions themselves, our on-site archives and the memories and stories of our residents are at risk.

From late 2025 until early 2028, the Heritage Project Officer will deliver a series of workshops, tours, activities, and lectures which celebrate, preserve, and share our rich heritage while engaging and integrating the local veteran and civilian communities in Fulham. Working with partners including the Fulham Society, Hammersmith & Fulham Archives and two volunteer committees, the Heritage Project Officer will also conduct extensive archival and online research to piece together the hidden history and forgotten stories of The Stoll Foundation and our early residents. Additionally, the Officer will lead on the production of key assets including a website section devoted to our heritage and a physical and digital book of the local community’s memories of Stoll Mansions. The project will culminate in a temporary exhibition which the Heritage Project Officer will design and deliver with the support of volunteers and professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruiting and managing two teams of volunteers: a Local Heritage Heroes committee of local community members and a Veteran Heritage Committee of The Stoll Foundation residents.
• Planning and delivering events and activities including workshops, open days, lecture series, committee meetings and field trips.
• Leading the planning and delivery of a temporary exhibition created in collaboration with project beneficiaries and volunteers.
• Tracking and reporting on a significant budget.
• Managing the creation of assets including a new Heritage section of The Stoll Foundation website and a physical and digital book compiling memories of Stoll Mansions from the local community.
• Managing the production of collaborative historical case studies and oral histories.
• Engaging with the local community to ensure participation in activities and integration with the Stoll veteran community and vice versa.
• Conducting archival and online research to uncover the story of Sir Oswald Stoll, The Stoll Foundation, Stoll Mansions, and our early veteran beneficiaries.
• Managing the cataloguing, digitisation and conservation of archival materials.
• Identifying and acting upon opportunities for further collaboration and partnerships; managing existing partnerships.
• Reporting on and evaluating the project including wellbeing impact on participants.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and energetic supervisor or team leader to take up a full-time role within our organisation as a Project Supervisor to be part of our small and dedicated team. The role will be based in Southwark as well as potential for wider London working as you will be part several innovative housing projects in London supporting vulnerable households to sustain their tenancies. As well as a team line manager, you will be maintaining and developing partnership with the Council’s housing officers, solicitors, landlords, community services, social prescribers, and mental health support workers to ensure tailored support can be offered for each client. The objectives of these programmes are to avoid evictions, sustain tenancies, increase employment opportunities, improve wellbeing, and increase educational outcomes. You will be working in partnership with other stakeholders such as schools and local authorities to improve family health, build relationships and engage families and individuals and their networks of support.    

About you   

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in staff management and project leadership, knowledge of housing polices, and with proven experience working with individuals who have complex needs. 

You will be responsible for managing and developing partnerships, supporting data collection for reports and monitoring, and contributing to quality assurance processes. In addition, you will hold a small caseload, providing direct, holistic support to individuals as part of your role. 

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organised. You should be confident working independently, with a genuine passion for driving positive change. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to provide holistic support and think creatively to find solutions. 

You will have:

• Experience leading and supervising other support workers, or volunteers, including delegation, training, and mentoring. 

• Ability to monitoring staff performance, and ensuring continuous professional development 

• Demonstratable experience of building and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders, statutory and  community organisations 

• Understanding of housing law, direct experience of working in partnership housing associations, local authorities, homeless organisations and public sector stakeholders  

• Good understanding of policy and procedures related to homelessness, benefits and housing market  

• Experience of organising project delivery and development 

• Experience of writing reports to showcase records and impact

This exciting new part time role has been created to support the CEO and Head of Operations, providing administrative support in a wide variety of areas including finance, fundraising, office systems and management, premises, promotion, marketing and communications. 

Financial administration includes input and reconciliation of all financial data and ensures efficient reporting, analysis and measurement of data and financial information against set timescales, targets and objectives. The Finance & HR Manager will sit within the Development Team to support the smooth and efficient operation of the charity. This role will assist in managing financial processes and lead on recruitment, HR policies, and people operations — helping to maintain a transparent, inclusive, and positive working environment.

This position is ideal for someone seeking part-time work who holds either a finance assistant qualification or an accountancy qualification. Candidates with a finance assistant background will work closely with the finance department of our parent organisation, Oasis, to manage accounts and financial operations. Finance

· Support the Operations Officer to reconcile transactions, issue invoices, process payments, and file quarterly Gift Aid claims.

· Oversee and manage Xero, ensuring all transactions are accurately coded and financial reporting is transparent and up to date.

· Prepare regular cash flow statements, budgets, and financial position reports for the Senior Leadership Team to support data-driven decision-making.

· Actively monitor income and expenditure, making recommendations to ensure financial sustainability and strategic use of resources.

The Role

This is a key leadership role responsible for shaping our HR strategy, overseeing IT systems, and strengthening operational effectiveness across the organisation. You’ll play a vital part in building a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace that enables our teams to thrive.

We’re looking for someone with proven HR and operational leadership experience, excellent people skills, and a hands-on, solutions-focused approach. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience is desirable.

Lepra is dedicated to addressing leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) and their consequences through direct support, advocacy, and the promotion of inclusive communities. We work in Bangladesh and in India, through our sister organisation, LEPRA Society. We work in partnership with people affected by leprosy and LF to improve detection, ensure access to treatment and care, and promote inclusion and wellbeing. Job Context

The Senior Manager- HR, Operations, and IT plays a key role in supporting Lepra’s people, systems, and governance functions. Working within a small and collaborative UK team, the postholder leads HR operations and organisational administration. The role combines hands-on delivery with advisory support, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal governance standards, and contributing to the efficient running of the organisation.

Job Purpose

The Senior Manager – HR, Operations, and IT provide functional leadership across human resources, operational management, and information systems. The postholder ensures that Lepra’s people, processes, and infrastructure enable a high-performing, inclusive, and compliant organisation.

Working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, this role provides support on HR strategy and governance, supports organisational operations, and provides leadership for IT and data management functions.

Working Relationships

Reports to the Director of Finance and Operations

Working with all of Lepra UK on all matters regarding HR, Operations and IT.

Will liaise across all Lepra staff, particularly those in management roles, in accordance with their staff and volunteer roles.

Will work closely with the Senior Management Team and Trustees

 

Key Responsibilities

 

The job holder will ensure that Equality/Equity, Diversity and Inclusion are recognised and promoted at all stages in the recruitment cycle for trustees and volunteers. They will provide an internal point of HR contact for all colleagues, liaising as necessary with external HR consultants. They will also provide support to the Trustees and SMT in an efficient, effective and confidential manner.

1. Organisational Support

Provide support on leading the delivery of efficient HR, operational, and IT functions across the organisation.

Provide professional advice and guidance to senior management and staff on people, compliance, and systems matters.

Support the Director of Finance and Operations in ensuring sound governance, risk management, and organisational resilience.

Oversee key internal processes that underpin organisational effectiveness, including performance, policy, and data management.

Support health and safety compliance within the organisation.

Provide executive and administrative support to the Senior Management Team, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking

Support the Director of Finance and Operations in ensuring good governance practices and compliance with charity and employment regulations.

Coordinate Trustee and Board-related administration as required.

Contribute to operational efficiency by supporting the implementation of improved systems and processes.

2. Human Resources and People Development

Ensure HR policies, frameworks, and practices promote fairness, inclusion, and staff wellbeing.

Lead on workforce planning, recruitment, and providing support on retention strategies.

Support professional development, performance management, and engagement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with employment law and uphold best practice in employee relations and safeguarding.

3. Operations and Governance

 Oversee office management, facilities, and supplier relationships to maintain effective operations.

 Support Board and Committee administration, including minute taking.

 Lead the review and implementation of operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Contribute to the development of a collaborative, transparent organisational culture.

4. IT and Data Management

Provide oversight and strategic support to the IT and Data Officer.

Ensure secure, efficient, and user-focused IT systems are in place.

Support the organisation’s data governance framework, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation.

Drive continuous improvement in digital systems to enhance operational effectiveness and reporting capability.
