Key Responsibilities

• Manage the purchase ledger, including coding invoices, maintaining records for capital projects,and running payments
• Reconcile bank accounts, control accounts, and digital payment systems to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and submit Gift Aid claims and grant applications.
• Process payroll information prior to submission to payroll bureau and ensure timely payment to staff.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and circulate reports to department heads.
• Post journals, accruals, and prepayments during month-end routines.
• Reconcile intercompany transfers and company charge card transactions.
• Assist with quarterly VAT submissions.
• Assist with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
• Assist with the provision of information to support the annual external audit.
• Perform year-end routines in Sage, maintaining the integrity and efficiency of financial records.
• Load budgets and support the development of tailored reports for internal use.
• Work with the Cathedral’s digital working group to improve financial reporting processes.

Job Specification

Essential

• Qualified or part-qualified AAT (or equivalent)
• Experience of financial administration.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desirable

• Experience using Sage 50 or Xero.
• Experience in accounts preparation, including draft management accounts for charities.

Working Hours

This is a full-time role of 35 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. Some flexibility or hybrid working may be discussed at interview. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required, with time off in lieu offered for agreed additional hours.

The volunteer officer will report to the volunteer manager.

The purpose of this role is to deliver the coordination of the operations of the charity’s volunteers ensuring that they have the best experience possible.

As Head of Fundraising and Communications, you will hold a key leadership role at the heart of bemix. About the role:

This role is offered working from either Southampton Central Police Station or the Eastern Police Investigation Centre. Your preference will be discussed at interview.

As a TEIO you will:

• Make calls to offer support to victims of crime, delivering immediate support.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support, which will include providing resources, interventions, and information to young people and their families.
• Use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential records and contribute to monitoring information including the collection of outcomes
• Working as part of a team with staff to provide a seamless service to clients

You will need:

• Understanding of the impact of crime on children and young people such as sexual violence, hate crime and anti-social behaviour
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of successfully delivering services and working directly within a statutory, voluntary or multi agency setting(s), preferably with children and young people.
• Ability to balance competing needs and priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience of building effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders
• Personal resilience to manage exposure to highly emotional or sensitive demands of the role
• Ability to manage a caseload including complex case management
• Ability to use generic IT applications competently.
• This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. The Organisation

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. The Role

As a Fundraising Officer, you will lead on all individual giving activity. You will manage our two annual appeals through a mix of email and direct mail, as well as the supporter journeys for all new and existing individual giving supporters.

You’ll help the Corporate Volunteering team with the administration and development of our Corporate Volunteering pipelines.

Additionally, you will:

• Develop the Marketing Plan for individual campaigns with all stakeholders, to meet agreed objectives
• Review artwork and edit copy to ensure it meets both campaign objectives and The Royal Parks brand guidelines
• Ensure best value for money for campaign production and prepare detailed campaign management reports
• Ensure that all supporters are adequately thanked and receiving the best supporter experience
• Manage and steward relationships with existing corporate volunteering partners

About You

To be considered as a Fundraising Officer, you will need:

• Fundraising experience, ideally in a small to medium-sized charity
• Experience of, or that would be transferable to, handling sensitive conversations with people who have been bereaved with empathy and tact
• Excellent administrative skills with the ability to accurately maintain large quantities of data
• Excellent writing skills
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
