Overview of the International Chief Support Officer

The International Chief Support Officer will assume responsibility for all central operational functions across the organisation, namely HR, Finance, Facilities, Technology and Data. 

This position will ensure that the organisation’s distinct Christian identity, operational excellence and resource efficiency, is maintained globally.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are recruiting for a Communications Officer who will coordinate our internal, Network-wide, and external communications. Ensuring excellent communications across the staff team, and the effective promotion of its work.

You will be a highly motivated communications specialist with a proven track record of internal and external communications. You will have excellent planning and prioritisation skills to ensure timely delivery of tasks, along with prior proven experience managing social media channels that results in an impact of campaigns and engagement. 

Key Tasks

• To create content and coordinate internal communications across the Network staff team, ensuring the effective development and implementation of appropriate channels 
• To develop and maintain a communications content calendar when and how the Network’s activity will be effectively communicated
• To coordinate communications across the wider Network, including PTCs, Regional Hubs, and partners, including through the production and dissemination of a regular digital newsletter 
• To develop, post and oversee content for the Network’s social media channels to promote the effectiveness of the Network’s approach and the impact of PTCs and commissioners 
• To establish and maintain appropriate media links to ensure that the reality of poverty, and the impact of commissioners in seeking to alleviate it, is effectively shared
• To support the Network’s parliamentary engagement and its national programmes to ensure that its work is shared impactfully 
• To provide an appropriate level of support to PTCs as they develop their social media and engage with the media appropriately
• To undertake other appropriate duties as requested by the Operations Manager

This role involves working from home with some travel.

Responsibilities

• To manage the operations of the MSSC Logistics & Trading department, which includes motor transport management for the MSSC.
• To be line manager to the Logistics & Trading Team.
• Be Building Manager responsible for the safety and security of all machinery, staff and operations within Sea Cadet Stores.
• Be responsible for budgetary control and finances associated with the department.
• To provide warehouse management and administrative oversite to operations for receipt and dispatch of online shop orders, MoD and MSSC stores held on loan throughout the MSSC.
• Liaise with SCC units, contractors, suppliers and MoD, to effectively deliver an efficient, effective department.
• Be responsible for maintain appropriate levels of MoD and Sea Cadets Shop stock.
• Liaise with Royal Navy regarding use of RN systems for purchasing uniforms and other RN provided equipment.
• Manage warehouse receipt and dispatch, ensuring that all orders are dispatched within specified timelines.
• Manage the operations of the Westminster Stores and Sea Cadets Shop online systems, ensuring that all records are maintained and up to date and accurate.
• Be prepared to assist with the manual aspects of warehouse activities as required.
• Liaise with Royal Navy and Captain of Sea Cadets regarding changing uniform requirements.
• Liaise with fundraising team to develop a strategy for increasing sales in the SCC shop.

The Senior Children’s and Families Pastor is a key role within the staff team at St Stephen’s.

We're looking for someone who can:

1. Deliver current services efficiently, achieving high levels of performance and satisfaction against contract requirements in both quantitative and qualitative terms.

2. Lead and develop the team in a supportive and collaborative manner and build resilience into the organisation.

3.Maintain and develop effective relationships with existing funders to ensure the renewal and ideally expansion of existing contracts as well as seeking new funders to help achieve Richmond CVS’s External Income growth goals.

4. Be a visible and effective ambassador and champion for Richmond CVS within the local and wider London Voluntary Sector to promote and support the health and growth of the Sector.

5. In collaboration with the Board, develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key external stakeholders to ensure maximum impact.

6. Ensure strategic representation for Richmond CVS and the Voluntary Community Social Enterprise in key strategic boards and partnerships.

7. Work with the Board, Company Secretary and Treasurer to ensure effective and efficient Governance, to include:  Annual Work Plan, regular and timely reporting on contractual and project performance metrics, financial planning and reporting, risk management, policies and procedures and meeting all statutory requirements.

8.Work with the Board on the development, deployment and review of the Strategic Plan and Priorities and prepare an Annual Financial and Business Plan for approval and ongoing review by the Board.

We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to lead the delivery and quality assurance of our national specialty training programme in Community Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (CSRH). As Training Programme Lead, you’ll play a central role in supporting CSRH trainees, upholding curriculum standards, and ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements of the General Medical Council (GMC). You’ll also guide doctors pursuing specialist registration through alternative routes, such as the GMC’s Portfolio Pathway, ensuring these processes are fair, transparent, and effective. Acting as the key liaison between trainees, educators, regulators, and other stakeholders across the UK, you’ll help shape the future workforce in this vital area of healthcare. The role:

Curriculum management

• Ensure the CSRH curriculum and assessment framework meets the regulatory standards set by the General Medical Council (GMC).
• Collaborate with clinicians, educators, regulators, and statutory boards to ensure the curriculum remains relevant, effective, and aligned with national standards, legislation, and service needs.
• Monitor and evaluate curriculum delivery across training sites by collecting feedback, audit results, and performance data; maintain accurate records of trainee outcomes and produce reports to support internal governance and external regulatory compliance.
• Support the use of digital platforms to track trainee progress against curriculum outcomes.

Trainee Support & Progression

• Act as a key point of contact for specialty trainees, providing guidance and administrative support throughout their training.
• Assist trainees in navigating digital platforms used for portfolio management and progression tracking.
• Develop and maintain clear, accessible guidance documents to support trainees in understanding training requirements and processes.
• Coordinate training events, inductions, and communications to keep trainees informed and engaged.

Stakeholder engagement

• Build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including the GMC, NHS England, statutory education boards, medical colleges and faculties, and training providers.
• Serve as the primary liaison for specialty trainees, Educational Supervisors and Training Programme Directors
• Work with suppliers and digital platform providers to maintain and improve user experience and functionality.
• Ensure open and constructive communication with all stakeholders to support programme delivery and regulatory compliance.

Portfolio Pathway

• Support doctors applying for specialist registration via the GMC’s Portfolio Pathway.
• Coordinate the review process for Portfolio Pathway applications, ensuring timely and accurate evaluation by relevant panels or evaluators.
• Provide clear, accessible guidance to applicants and maintain accurate records to support continuous improvement of the process and data to support workforce planning.

Committee and Governance Support

• Provide high-quality administrative support to internal committees, working groups, and panels involved in specialty training governance.
• Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions to ensure effective committee operations.
• Support the governance of the CSRH curriculum and assessment framework by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures and standard operating procedures related to the specialty training portfolio.

• A strong understanding of the role of standard operating procedures (SOPs) in ensuring consistency, quality, and clarity, and the ability to develop and maintain SOPs and accessible user guidance to support trainees, trainers, and applicants.
• Competency in analysing and interpreting data to produce meaningful reports for internal governance and external regulatory reviews.

You will have experience:

• Experience coordinating or supporting training or education programmes, ideally in a regulated or healthcare-related environment.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management across a range of professional levels.
• Experience supporting or managing governance structures such as committees, panels, or working groups.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and producing reports for internal and external use.
• Experience developing guidance materials and SOPs to support users in navigating complex systems or processes.
