What you will be doing

The Delivery Officer (Good for Girls) will deliver the programme's day-to-day operations and the broader mental health offer to London Youth members. You will deliver Good for Girls, a youth club-based mental health and well-being programme. You will support 10 youth organisations to engage young people in the programme, which enables young women and girls to participate in regular well-being activities and training for young Londoners.

Lead the delivery of the Good for Girls programme 

• Coordinate Good for Girls to meet key delivery targets, secure the target recruitment of member organisations, youth workers and young people, and oversee the onboarding process. 
• Coordinate Peer Mentors to undertake training and to then support delivery of the programme. 
• Work with internal colleagues to ensure organisations participating in our programmes receive a quality experience, such as completing due diligence.

Surgical intervention could address over 30% of the global burden of disease, and yet the poorest 33% of people receive just 3.5% of all surgery. Post-operative mortality rates 1,000 times higher than in some high-income countries can be found in parts of the world where surgery and anaesthesia have been neglected, and in some countries as many as 90% of anaesthetic departments do not have the equipment to provide a safe anaesthetic for a child.

The role

This sits within the Communications, Advocacy and Digital Learning Team and reports to the Digital Learning Manager. You will work closely with all members of our staff team (the Secretariat), as well as many of our committees and key stakeholders. Relationships with member societies and our WFSA Board and Council will also be important; an ability to interact across a range of stakeholders is essential. This is an entry level role which offers huge scope for development and learning across a broad remit.

1. AOLC support

• Support the Digital Learning Manager in delivering the Anaesthesia Online Learning Community (AOLC) project action plan and coordinating with volunteer faculty when needed. 

• Provide administrative support for the e-learning platform, including uploading content, enrolling users, checking enrolment reports, and routine maintenance tasks. 

• Respond to routine user queries (e.g., certificates, access to recordings, account/password issues). 

• Upload new educational resources to the Virtual Library (WordPress). 

 2. Webinar administration & delivery

• Manage speaker admin: collecting bios and photos, sending consent forms and reminders, requesting Power Point slides, and gathering essential details. 

• Prepare webinar materials such as introduction slides, panelist briefing documents, and certificates. 

• Provide support for running webinars (e.g., managing waiting rooms, chat/Q&A, recordings), compile webinar analytics, and produce standardised reports.

• Assist the Managing Editor with administrative tasks for Anaesthesia Tutorial Of The Week (ATOTW) and Update in Anaesthesia (UIA). 

• Liaise with partner organisations and volunteer translators, track translation progress and upload translated content to WordPress.

4. Other duties

• Provide updates for donor reports and project summaries as requested. 

• Support internal meetings: scheduling, agendas, minutes. 

• Help draft or schedule educational email campaigns in Mailchimp.

We seek a Finance Manager to lead the day to day running of the charity’s finances including overseeing the work of our outsourced financial provider. ABOUT DEMOCRACY CLASSROOM

Democracy Classroom is a partnership of over 100 civil society organisations from the youth, education and democracy sectors working together to support young people to engage in elections and democracy. 

The network is supported by the Democracy Classroom platform, which brings together over 1000 free educational resources for teachers and youth practitioners.

Democracy Classroom is a non-partisan, UK-wide initiative and a leading voice for the sector, reaching teachers and youth practitioners in 95% of the UK’s parliamentary constituencies. It coordinates the collective voice of organisations committed to democratic education, including through its joint submission to the Department for Education’s Curriculum and Assessment Review and the publication of The Roadmap to Votes at 16, a collaborative vision for the implementation of Votes at 16.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Programme Coordinator, you’ll support the work of our Communications and Networks Team while helping keep our office and digital platforms running seamlessly. 

You will:

Website and digital

• Maintain and update the Democracy Classroom website with resources and programme content.

• Work with colleagues to upload reports, blogs and event details.

Operations

• Oversee day-to-day office administration, including supplies, IT support liaison and record-keeping.

• Support finance processes, including invoices, expenses and financial tracking.

• Maintain key operational systems such as our CRM, database and filing systems.

Events and programmes

• Coordinate logistics for meetings and events (online and in-person), including venues, catering and participant communications.

• Support programme delivery by liaising with facilitators, partners and participants.

Team support

• Provide diary management and scheduling support for senior staff where needed.

• Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and track actions.

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and HR processes.

You’ll also have opportunities to contribute to wider organisational projects and learn new skills as our work evolves.

The job is based on a 14 month fixed term contract (including a 6-month probation period), with opportunities for extension. 

The Politics Project is based in central London, with a mixture of in person and remote working. The hours of work are 37.5 hrs per week. Occasional travel to elsewhere in the UK and working unsocial hours in evenings and at weekends may be required.

Brain Tumour Research is seeking an experienced and motivated fundraiser to join our team. As a key part of our fundraising efforts in our high-performing East region, you will have the opportunity to drive income generation through a variety of initiatives, including challenge events, fundraising groups, and corporate partnerships such as charity of the year. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives to increase our profile and supporter base within London.​

Key Responsibilities: ​​​

• Generate income across a range of community fundraising initiatives and events, with the opportunity to lead on key projects 
• Steward supporters to help drive the charity’s fundraising activities and growth 
• ​Work with the fundraising team to develop and maintain strong relationships with fundraisers, donors, partners, and key stakeholders ​
• Contribute towards the growth and success of fundraising efforts, ensuring a sustainable income stream for the vital ongoing funding of brain tumour research ​​

Requirements: ​​

• At least one year of fundraising experience, with a proven track record in income generation 
• Strong experience in supporter stewardship  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire supporters and partners alike ​

Severndroog Castle is a much-loved Grade II* listed historic site, saved by the community and now run by a passionate charity committed to heritage, learning, and local engagement. We are looking for an enthusiastic and people-focused Community and Volunteer Engagement Manager to join our small team and help shape the Castle’s future.

This role is one of two complementary part-time positions forming a collaborative partnership model. You will work closely with the Site and Operations Manager to ensure a joined-up, positive experience for visitors, volunteers, and community partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building community relationships, and creating memorable visitor experiences. You will lead our volunteer programme, develop partnerships, support events, and help ensure that Severndroog Castle remains a welcoming and engaging place for all.
