London’s Air Ambulance Charity has a small team of pilots who are dedicated to maintaining high standards of aviation in order to deliver our helicopter emergency medical service (HEMS) to the people of London. We have recently changed our fleet to the EC135 T3H; modernising our multi-pilot aviation environment.
Day to day, we work closely with the charity’s teams including the medical, fire and support staff. All are prepared and rehearsed in their roles and strive to provide the best service possible.
We also liaise outside London’s Air Ambulance Charity, within the wider air ambulance network and other emergency service communities to ensure safe, efficient operations in line with industry best practice.
Our flights are short and mostly within the busy airspace of London to land and deliver clinical teams to scene with safety as our top priority. Where situations allow, once landed and shut down, pilots help clinical crews with logistics and also act as ambassadors for the charity, liaising with the public.
£27,008 per year (London Living Wage)

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Junior Developer to join our Technology and Solutions team at Prostate Cancer UK on a fixed term basis.
As part of our Technology landscape, we have invested substantial amount of time and resources to benefit in robotic automation using a market leading new platform TOCA.IO. Our energetic IT team works at the forefront of automation, delivering solutions that streamline operations and enhance productivity.
This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the full development lifecycle projects You’ll work alongside our small internal IT team, reporting directly to the Solutions Manager and supported by a SQL Developer and Business Analyst, contributing to the design, development, testing, and deployment of IT systems. You’ll be developing and maintaining automation scripts and software applications.
In this role, you’ll support teams across the charity as the first point of contact for data development and analysis. It’s a great opportunity to see the difference we’re making as we’re striving for a world where no man dies from prostate cancer.
What we want from you
We're looking for a self-starter with a strong problem-solving mindset to join our team. This role requires working in a collaborative way with the development team to design and implement IT solutions using the right technology platform.
You'll have good understanding of SQL databases with some knowledge or hands-on experience of programming skills in languages such as Python, PHP. With excellent communicating skills, able to explain technical information clearly and confidently to people who aren’t technical experts.
This role is ideal for individuals at the beginning of their IT careers who possess a foundational understanding of information technology and a strong desire to expand your knowledge and skills. You’ll already have some demonstrable skills gained through formal study, bootcamps, self-learning, or a corporate environment.

For the UKs largest not-for-profit social enterprise in the employment and social mobility sector, we are recruiting a Financial Modeller / Analyst on a 12-month contract which could go permanent. Working closely with the finance business partners and commercial operations teams, this role will develop models to review commercial bids and acquisitions and provide insight to senior leaders on value drivers to inform decision making around bidding strategy and financial planning. This role will suite someone with first-rate commercial tendering, bidding, financial modelling, and Excel skills and a strong relationship builder from either the commercial or social enterprise sector. Main Duties:
- Deliver financial and commercial analytics, and modelling, focusing on new business development, bidding and tendering
- Implement best practices in modelling and business development processes across the group

About the role
This role will involve building relationships with current and new corporate donors to ensure we can resource all the material donations we need to run the Crisis at Christmas centres in London. Each year, we source gift in kind donations ranging from food and beverages to clothing, hairdressing equipment and toiletries. This is a varied role that involves researching donors, communicating with large corporate companies, managing volunteers, and running our yearly community donations drive.
About you
- Previous fundraising, project or event coordination or marketing experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with partner organisations and donors at all levels and work collaboratively within a wider team.

About the Role
As a Senior Legal Officer at Thomson Reuters, you will:

Scoping legal pro bono requests from our community of civil society organisations, social enterprises and independent media organisations so that the requests clearly explain the legal needs for lawyers to advise on.

Managing pro bono requests, including connecting the pro bono client with lawyers, collecting feedback and following up with the parties involved.

Designing, scoping and overseeing cross-border legal research projects, tools, resources and other content that address the most critical social and advocacy needs facing our members.

Proactive supporting of TrustLaw’s regional portfolio of law firms, corporations and other key stakeholders in EMENA to ensure TrustLaw regional quality and growth metrics are met.

Actively pursuing and cultivating relationships with law firms to secure their commitment to pro bono projects, employing persuasive communication strategies to highlight the impactful role they play in advancing social and environmental objectives through TrustLaw initiatives.

About You
You are a fit for the role of Senior Legal Officer if your background includes:

As a Caller Support Officer, you will:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on caller support policies and procedures to volunteers and staff.

- Help manage support for callers with complex mental health needs, ensuring appropriate boundaries and reducing dependency on the service.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has experience with working in a helpline setting, to support volunteers to deliver safe and effective emotional support to individuals in distress or with complex emotional/mental health needs, ideally in a helpline setting.
- Understands safeguarding legislation and has experience applying it in practice.
- Is confident managing sensitive and sometimes confrontational situations.
- Can work independently and manage a varied workload effectively.
- Has experience working with external agencies such as police and court officials.
- Is emotionally resilient and able to handle distressing information with professionalism and care.

Following an internal promotion, they are seeking an HR Officer to help deliver a high-quality, proactive HR service across the organisation. The role is offered as a permanent contract with flexibility on hybrid work. The post holder is expected to be in the workplace 20%-40% of their time.
Reporting to the Director of People, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality HR operations across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to payroll, policy development, and day-to-day advisory support for staff and managers. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice, while keeping HR data and systems accurate and up to date.
The successful candidate will bring solid generalist HR experience, strong Excel and data management skills, and an understanding of pensions administration and employment legislation. A CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is required, and familiarity with end-to-end recruitment and first-line employee relations advice will be key.

The role
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for working with Cruse in partnership with SGN to support people experiencing a bereavement, with help and information to alleviate fuel poverty, enabling them to maintain a safe and warm home.
The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively across Cruse with our communications team, finance team, data team and service teams, to help extend the reach of these valuable services to bereaved people. This includes upskilling staff and volunteers with regard to fuel poverty, with training information and resources. Develop and support drop-in sessions, groups and community events. Raising awareness through communications / digital / newsletters etc and Providing monitoring reports to evaluation the services provided.

The Learning Disability & Neurodiversity Carers Service Coordinator role sits within the Adult Carers Team and supports carers from the age of 18 upwards who look after a family member, friend or neighbour living with a learning disability or neurodiversity. The Service Coordinator will act as a first point of contact in a busy, fast paced environment responding to enquiries and referrals from both carers and professionals. The post holder will offer immediate signposting support and offer additional one to one support via a home visit if appropriate. The Service Coordinator is responsible for promoting, managing and developing a programme of peer support groups and will work collaboratively with carers and the Adult Carers Team Leader to identify opportunities for service development and the creation of new groups to increase our reach.
To be considered for this role you will have experience of working or volunteering in a Health and Social Care setting - whilst you don’t necessarily need to have experience of supporting carers previously, you must have demonstrable experience of supporting and assessing the needs of vulnerable people. You will have the ability to communicate effectively and credibly with a wide range of people in a wide range of settings and will be confident establishing relationships and working alongside a variety of professionals. Overall, you will be warm and approachable, passionate about delivering high quality support services to unpaid carers.

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

- Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems
- Experience producing reports for senior leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with great time management
