Main duties of the job

The Charity Director is responsible for driving the purpose and impact of Frimley Health Charity (FHC), ensuring the charity delivers meaningful benefits to patients, staff, and the wider community. The role combines strategic leadership with active operational involvement, across income growth and translating the charity’s vision into practical initiatives and improvements. The postholder will develop and implement a plan to deliver on the newly agreed FHC strategy to grow income streams, maximise impact, and maintain low operating costs, while also engaging directly in day-to-day operations to ensure the charity runs smoothly and efficiently.

In addition to strategic planning, the Charity Director undertakes hands-on tasks such as financial management, data analysis, market research, process improvement, and reporting to the Charitable Funds Committee and Trust Board. • Responsible for processing all income in SAGE from various platforms reconciling income to bank statements.
• Responsible for processing monthly/annual journal and accruals

• Assist the external auditors during their audit fieldwork

About SCEC

SCEC was founded over twenty years ago to provide learning enrichment opportunities to primary school children in disadvantaged communities in south London. Together with our partners, several leading independent schools, we currently operate four schemes in math, literacy, science and art. Children learn through fun, engaging group activities like science experiments, storytelling and mathematical treasure hunts, all taught by qualified teachers with added support from student mentors. Through the schemes, children explore their curiosity, build knowledge and develop their confidence as learners.

Your Role

The Scheme Director is a newly created role that will be pivotal in helping SCEC extend its reach. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, you will help SCEC design and implement an expansion programme as well as coordinating the delivery of the existing schemes via our school partners. You will also serve as a trusted partner to the Board in the administration of the charity.

Similar to a COO, this role straddles the operational and the strategic. We are looking for a confident communicator and relationship builder who can work across varied stakeholder groups. You will have project management experience that can be applied to challenges like process design and change management. We are seeking an experienced Property and Facilities Manager to ensure the Cathedral and its associated properties are safe, well-maintained, and operating efficiently in line with our strategic objectives.

Accountable to:The Chapter of Guildford Cathedral.

Hours and salary:Part time – 0.5 FTE/18 hours per week (flexibility is essential for this role). The salary for the post is £18,720 p/a.​

What You'll Do:​​

​In this key role, you will take ownership of all aspects of property management and facilities services, including long-term planning, compliance, and cost control. You will oversee maintenance programmes, manage budgets and contracts, and ensure high standards of health and safety across the estate.

This is a hands-on position that will involve, at times, physical activity, including accessing all areas of the Cathedral and other buildings, which may involve navigating numerous stairs and confined spaces.​

Some of the Key Responsibilities of the role:​

• Maintenance Management: Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across Cathedral properties, ensuring timely completion and accurate reporting.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Apply and maintain the Cathedral’s Health & Safety Policy, promoting safe working practices and compliance with legislation.

Keychange is a Christian charity with over 100 years of experience supporting people facing vulnerability. Today, we provide specialist housing for women and young people experiencing homelessness, alongside residential care for older people across the South and Southwest of England.

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our specialist women’s homelessness service, Wayside Community in Reigate. This community is a 19 bed, 24-7 supported housing for women experiencing homelessness. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong frontline experience who is ready to step into management within a highly supportive and mission-driven team.

About the Role
The Deputy Manager plays a key role in the leadership of Wayside Community, supporting the Women’s Homelessness Lead in the day-to-day running and development of the service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the Women’s Homelessness Lead in Surrey in ensuring the smooth daily running of the Service at all times and deputising in her absence for all matters relating to the management of the Service.
• Ensure that Wayside Community complies with all statutory regulations relating to supported housing, health and safety, fire precautions etc.
• Working with the Women’s Homelessness Lead to develop performance targets and quality control measures for the benefit of the team, and monitoring team members’ work to ensure that these are met.
• In conjunction with the Women’s Homelessness Lead ensure that effective assessments and action plans are updated for all residents through a key worker system and on case files.
• In conjunction with the Women’s Homelessness Lead ensure that all safeguarding concerns, incidents and complaints are managed robustly.

• Knowledge of the range of services available to homeless people who may have complex needs or other support needs.

Occupational Requirements
This role is subject to legal Occupational Requirements under the Equality Act 2010. The postholder must both a woman and a practicing Christian. These requirements are essential due to the nature of the role, including spiritual support, trauma-informed care for women, and active church partnership development.

About the role: Principal Responsibilities

1. Finance Administration - 60% of role

• Processing grant payments (10-15 weekly) via online banking in line with authorisation limits

• Inputting and updating all incoming and outgoing transactions on QuickBooks.

• Saving payment confirmations on the server and on QuickBooks.

• Scanning and Electronic filing of accounts and finance invoices, receipts, credits.

• Calling organisations in different countries to verify bank account details (as part of anti-fraud checks.)

• Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations. 

• Financial support to CEO and auditors for annual audit.

• Administration of 3 company credit cards and company expenses.

• Ad hoc administration duties to support charity and CEO including communications with the Charity Commission. 

2. Grant assistance - 5%

• Review and edit of grant letters for c.15 grants per year.

• Email liaison with grantees to ensure timely submission of paperwork including annual reports.

3. Assistance to CEO - 25%

• Provide a professional, comprehensive and high-quality executive support to the CEO, including time, diary and email management, travel and accommodation arrangements, expenses, providing support to meetings, drafting appropriate correspondence and document production. 

• Providing project administration support and management of discreet pieces of work relating to the Trustees meeting. 

4. Office Management - 10%

• Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence e.g. post, office phone

• Inventory and supplies Ensuring that office has sufficient stationary, kitchen and bathroom supplies

• Facilities: deal with any repairs and cleaning including liaison with cleaning company 

• Organising catering for Trustees meetings x3 annually

• Weekly backup of server

• Event planning: organising company events e.g. strategic planning sessions, visits from grantees, office outings

You will also play a pivotal role in sharing learning, intelligence and insights to ensure the Foundations’ strategy development, delivery and relationship with the Lloyds Banking Group considers regional needs and the operating context of our funded partners.

People and Culture Manager

MLC Partners are supporting a values-led organisation to recruit an experienced People and Culture Manager to join their small, collaborative People team. This is a broad, hands-on role combining operational HR delivery with leadership, projects, and a strong focus on inclusive people practices.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will provide a proactive and professional HR service across the organisation. You will lead on end-to-end recruitment, oversee onboarding and induction, manage key annual HR initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor on employee relations. You will also line-manage two People team members and play a key role in embedding equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging (EDIB) across all people practices.

A key aspect of the role will be supporting and managing organisational change, including restructures and organisational redesign, ensuring these are delivered fairly, compliantly and with clear communication - experience in previously successfully is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve end-to-end recruitment processes, working closely with hiring managers and external partners
• Oversee induction and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and values-aligned employee experience
• Lead annual HR projects including appraisals, staff surveys and feedback processes
• Co-design and deliver people leader development initiatives and practical management guidance
