Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Head of Property and the Property Managers, including the scheduling of team meetings.
• Initial point of contact for enquiries to the Property team.
• Manage routine office duties such as invoice requests and expenses.
• Schedule in key team tasks within the peaks and troughs of the range of team activities.
• Schedule Committee Meetings and attend in the capacity of the minute taker. Work with the team to prepare and collate the papers. Follow-up on actions for timely reporting.
• You will ensure time is set aside by the whole team to meet organisational goals, such as performance reviews, work to achieve the organisation’s annual audit, service charge reconciliation, and contractor reviews.
• You may be asked to commission regular cyclical reports from external providers and ensure they are delivered on time ready for upward reporting.
• You may be asked to organise emails, create presentations, and work within the teams filing system.
• You will receive reports from key team members and ensure they are ready to present through the Governance.
• You will co-ordinate and collage high level data collection provided by others for upward reporting.
• You will ensure key project information regarding estate development is circulated to the lettings and leasing side of the Property Team’s operation. This may involve calling on others in the organisation to assist.
• You will nurture positive relationships and information flow within the team groupings.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Minimum 5 years’ administration experience working in a busy office, with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Experience of designing and delivering high quality, proactive project administration.
• Experience of scheduling and dealing with Committees.
• Proficient IT skills, across Microsoft Office, and willing to learn new systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create presentations and other communications.

About the role:

Respect is seeking two Helplines Team Leaders. You will be the main point of contact for the team of Advisors and provide line management support along with other focused meetings that guide their work with service users.

You will manage concerns raised by Advisors and make decisions on safety actions, and deal with complaints. You will oversee the implementation of a rota system that maximises resource capacity at peak call times to meet high demands. Work collaboratively with partner agencies that deliver programmes of support for both male victims and perpetrators, and set up signposting and referral processes that supports our work.

• At least two years’ experience of working on complex cases in a multi-agency environment and working with other professionals/agency to manage risk and safeguard vulnerable adults and children 
• An understanding of the root causes of domestic abuse, both individually and societal, and its effects on victims, in particular male victims 
• An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse 
• Ability to lead a team using motivational strategies that inspire and create a positive working atmosphere
• A commitment to anti-discriminatory practice and an approach that centres survivors, in particular Black and minoritised survivors.

Details of Job

The Events and Communications Officer will work across the team to plan, produce and deliver a calendar of in-person and on-line events. In this key role you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Negotiating Officer to manage and support our stewards, safety and equality representative networks across West Midlands and part of Cheshire, advising them in providing individual and collective industrial relations support to members, working both in and outside of the NHS. You will also be expected to spend approximately 25% of your time, managing cases from across the UK, but predominantly from nearby regions.

The postholder will work in collaboration with other health trade unions across the region.

You will work with the CSP regional team to recruit and organise members, influence on local workforce issues and promote physiotherapy.

You will provide representation for members at disciplinary hearings, grievances and disputes with employers, and provide general advice and information to representatives and members on issues such as pay, terms and conditions, and employment legislation.

With significant trade union experience at a senior level, and an understanding of NHS structures and government policy on health, you will have excellent communication, negotiation, training and presentational skills, combined with a strong collaborative approach and a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, equality and diversity principles and the ability to put them into practice.

You'll be joining a passionate and collaborative Estates & Facilities team at Marie Curie, working closely with colleagues across health, retail, fundraising, and central operations. As the Estates Compliance & Sustainability Lead, you'll be the driving force behind our sustainability strategy and compliance performance across the estate. Your work will support vital environmental goals - like energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and sustainable practices - while ensuring we meet statutory and internal compliance standards. This is a high-impact role, perfect for someone ready to influence culture, champion innovation, and embed sustainability into everything we do.

Main responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver Marie Curie's Sustainability and Energy Strategy.
- Oversee and enhance environmental compliance (SECR, ESOS, EPC, etc.).
- Monitor and manage energy performance, providing reporting and analysis.
- Maintain and improve waste management and carbon management policies.
- Chair the sustainability working group, promoting cross-team engagement.
- Support delivery of cleaning efficacy audits and business continuity planning.
- Support Hospice teams with audits, ensuring actions are remedied and closed in a timely manner.
- Keep compliance systems (e.g., Info Exchange) and dashboards up to date.

Key Criteria:
- Solid knowledge of environmental legislation and sustainability frameworks.
- Proven experience in facilities management and environmental compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to solution design.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to present new ideas and influence cultural change.
- Demonstrates a sense of ownership and confidence when working independently, while also effectively collaborating as part of a team.
- Possession of IEMA membership or a relevant qualification in environmental or facility management disciplines will be an asset.

Would you like to contribute to a unique research programme that plays a key role in advancing knowledge about cancer prevention?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work on World Cancer Research Fund International’s Global Cancer Update Programme (CUP Global). CUP Global (previously known as CUP) is a unique, long-standing, and rigorous research programme that systematically gathers, analyses, and judges the strength of the global evidence on how diet, nutrition, physical activity and body weight affect cancer risk and survival. This work led to the publication of the authoritative Third Expert Report in 2018, which now needs updating in places to remain relevant and impactful. 

As Senior Research Interpretation Officer, you will be a valuable member of the Research Interpretation team and the CUP Global scientific Secretariat. Your core work will be supporting the management of CUP Global on a day-to-day basis to help deliver its main objective of updating the Third Expert Report. You will provide scientific input, administrative support, and help coordinate specific work areas of CUP Global.

We are looking to recruit someone who has a Masters degree in public health sciences, particularly nutrition and/or cancer research, and with a good understanding of epidemiological concepts. We are seeking someone with experience of writing scientifically, copywriting, editing and proofreading, with good attention to detail and with experience of reviewing and interpreting scientific research/literature. We require someone who can co-ordinate and manage projects, who can produce concise, well-constructed, written communications with the ability to present orally to various audiences in a clear and persuasive manner, and who can provide administrative support, including taking meeting minutes and writing professional emails.

WCRF International is a not-for-profit organisation that leads and unifies a network of cancer prevention charities based in Europe, the Americas and Asia and is responsible for cancer prevention science, policy, strategic and operational direction to the network charities.

We are looking for a Head of Safeguarding to join our team. You will be responsible for the strategic leadership of safeguarding for the organisation.
