This role will be accountable for:

Supporting the event owner in the successful planning and execution of all events across the charity, including the Families, Supporter and Operations Teams at Scotty's. This will include developing, promoting and delivering a range of events that align with our mission and values, drives supporter engagement, cultivates opportunities for our families to bond, and provides team collaboration.

What are the 3-month goals for this role:

· Can articulate the charity’s goals, culture, and impact, and how the Events Manager role supports this to happen. 

· Has a good understanding of the events plans for each team and the upcoming and year to view calendar of events.

· Establish initial contact with key stakeholders, including team members, partners, and supporters.

What are the 6-month goals for this role:

· Conduct an audit of current event plans and materials and speak with at current partners for feedback and learnings.

· Develop a comprehensive event strategy, outlining key tactics, timelines, and performance metrics.

· Identify and qualify suitable venues for upcoming events, ensuring they align with the charity's mission and values

· Establish success measures and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse event results, and identify areas for improvement.

What are the 9-month goals for this role:

· Improve specific performance metrics, such as event budget management, event marketing effectiveness, and attendee satisfaction within the first nine months.

Abandon Normal Devices are seeking an experienced finance professional or small accountancy provider to manage our core finance functions on a freelance/contract basis. This is an ongoing, part-time contract supporting the financial operations of a small, ambitious arts organisation working at the intersection of art, technology and digital culture.

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of charity finance, skilled in Xero, bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, audit preparation, HMRC filings and support with funding reports. You may be an individual already set up for freelance work, or a firm used to providing finance support to charities or arts organisations. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Manager with a locally-led charity dedicated to ensuring the rights of children in west Africa on a permanent, full-time basis. As Senior Finance Manager you will lead the charity’s financial operations and play an important part in strengthening their financial systems and processes. A key part of the role early on is to improve the quality of financial data collection and processing by the project teams.

As Senior Finance Manager, you will:

- Be responsible for running all of the charity’s financial operations

- Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports (including monthly and quarterly management accounts) for the CEO and Board

- Support the charity’s plans to scale by playing a lead role in financial planning for their new programme. This includes helping to design budgets and financial management systems

- Support fundraising colleagues in preparing budgets and financial reports for donors

- Work closely with colleagues in West Africa to ensure policies, systems, and processes effectively track and manage funds in compliance with internal agreements and donor restrictions (particularly around restricted/unrestricted funds)

The successful applicant will:

- Have significant demonstrable experience in finance within the charity sector (ideally a similar type of organisation) in a similar role

- Have a good understanding of charity financial reporting, audits, compliance, and managing multi-currency financial operations

- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc)

About the role:

The Team Leader will lead on the delivery of the Triage Model in their pilot area/s, providing support, case management and supervision for the Triage Worker and IDVA roles. They will act as the first point of contact assessing the suitability of initial referrals to be allocated to a Triage Worker for a full assessment. The Hardman Trust supports people on long prison sentences to take their next steps in life. As the Head of Service Delivery your role is to make this a reality by overseeing the delivery of our operational programmes and services.
