As Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for all things facilities-related at our Ewell office and London City Hub. You’ll also provide remote support to our central charity branches nationwide, helping maintain safe, efficient, and welcoming environments for staff and volunteers.

This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. From managing contractors and maintenance schedules to supporting health and safety compliance and coordinating office moves, you’ll be central to the success of our Facilities & Projects team.

The Policy and Engagement Manager, Asia and the Pacific Islands will strengthen the voice of the Global South in discussions and potential negotiations on SRM research and governance with relevance to Asia by connecting experts to policy processes. Accordingly, the successful candidate will: 

• Identify and engage key policy actors (e.g. national delegates and legislators, scientific advisors, intergovernmental officials) in Asia and the Pacific Islands, connecting them to local SRM experts and providing them with information, where appropriate, while remaining neutral regarding the potential use and governance of SRM; 

• Work with SRM researchers from the region to support the creation of a coordinated community of experts; 

• Build informal and formal partnerships with like-minded organisations, helping to inform discussions and counter misinformation about climate and SRM 

• Share expertise and experience gained from Asia and the Pacific Islands with staff and researchers and participate, as appropriate, in activities in Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean to gain similar expertise;

About the role

As Deputy Service Manager, you’ll support the Service Manager to ensure high quality service delivery. You’ll be a key contact for staff, helping them feel supported, skilled and confident in their roles. This service supports residents who have experienced long term street homelessness with challenges such as mental health issues, substance use and alcohol dependency. You’ll help create a positive, supportive environment where both staff and residents can thrive and residents can work towards recovery and greater independence.

You will be working within a 24 hour service which provides person centred support to our residents. Some key responsibilities include:

The current role is an initial 6-month fixed term contract. The charity is very flexible, and the current role can be worked fully remotely.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager will be data-driven and results focussed to lead their performance marketing activity with a clear focus on generating income, maximising ROI and delivering supporter growth at scale. You will take ownership of core digital channels — including Google & Bing Paid Search and Shopping, Google Grant, Display, YouTube, and SEO.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a results-driven digital marketing strategy focused on income generation, conversion, and lifetime supporter value.

· Maximise value from the Google Ad Grant, ensuring full utilisation within grant constraints while delivering measurable results.

· Build performance-driven channel plans across Paid Search, Shopping, Display, Video, and SEO, aligned to acquisition and revenue targets.

· Set up, manage, and continuously optimise Paid Search and Shopping campaigns on Google Ads, Google Grant, and Bing Ads with a focus on return on ad spend (ROAS) and cost per acquisition (CPA).

· Deliver Display and YouTube campaigns via Google Ads, managing targeting, placements, and creative testing.

· Track and report on key income metrics using GA4, GTM, and UTM tagging, with a focus on ROI, revenue per click, and conversion rates.

· Analyse data to identify trends, optimise campaigns, and deliver insights to inform wider marketing activity.

· Work with designers and content creators to brief, review, and optimise assets (copy, creative, landing pages).

· Collaborate with the marketing, and wider Mary’s Meals teams to ensure campaigns support broader objectives.

Person Specification:

· Proven, hands-on experience managing the Google Ad Grant, including understanding grant policies, maximising spend, and drive meaningful traffic and conversions.

· Extensive experience managing Google & Bing Paid Search campaigns (Search and Shopping formats) that deliver income and strong ROI

· Strong understanding of and experience with Display and YouTube advertising on the Google Ads platform

· Solid SEO knowledge including on-page optimisation, content strategy, and technical SEO basics

· Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and implementing tracking strategies

· Skilled at creating and interpreting performance reports, analysing user journeys, and making data-led decisions

· Experience managing and optimising for performance metrics (e.g. ROI, CTR, CPA, ROAS)

· Strong copywriting skills for paid media and the ability to collaborate with creative and content teams

· Confident managing budgets, forecasting spend, and ensuring cost-effective delivery whilst optimising for revenue generation

British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the UK's largest independent funder of cardiovascular research. As a Research Advisor you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing our research strategy to life. 

Through our portfolio of active research projects, we fund some of the most exciting and innovative cardiovascular research and the most talented scientists from PhD students to BHF Professors.

You’ll play an active role in supporting the work of our research grant committees, by providing scientific input throughout the research grant evaluation and delivery process and taking primary responsibility for supporting the work of the Chairs and Programme Grants Committee.

You’ll work closely with the Senior Research Advisor, Research Grants Manager and Research Grants Officer during funding cycles and grant applications and awards.

Please note this is a fixed term contract covering family leave until the end of May 2026.

This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.

About you

With a PhD, or equivalent, degree in bioscience, you'll have knowledge and an understanding of scientific and clinical careers and the work of BHF, specifically in relation to research.

With experience of cardiovascular or related research at postdoctoral level as well as research grant evaluation and administration, you'll be able to interpret complex research data and communicate it to lay audiences

You’ll be a proactive member of the team possessing outstanding attention to detail, analytical and interpersonal skills. 

With excellent communication, prioritisation, and organisational skills you’ll be able to meet multiple deadlines. You’ll serve as an ambassador for BHF and its research achievements, promoting BHF and its research funding schemes.
