We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in East Sussex who support Young Carers, aged 5-18 years, who have caring responsibilities for someone in their family due to disability, long-term illness, mental health, or drug or alcohol misuse.
You will manage an existing caseload and new referrals, meeting with families and Young Carers to complete statutory assessments, and providing short-term interventions that support Young Carers to improve their resilience, educational chances and wellbeing. This might be signposting to local services, action planning, one-to-one support, or our workshop programme.
Working closely with schools and Childrens Services, you will make referrals to a range of professionals and community services, ensuring whole family needs are met, and thereby reducing the impact of caring on the Young Carer.
As a CYP Coordinator, you will plan and deliver workshop sessions and activities, providing opportunities for Young Carers to spend time with their peers and recognise that they are not alone.
This is a full-time role delivering the service across Wealden (part-time hours considered), and includes working once a week at our Tunbridge Wells office. Some early evenings required. Own car essential.

We are now recruiting for the exciting new role of Family Support Coordinator. This role will organise and deliver Croydon Refugee Day Centre (CRDC)’s new Family Support Programme, including being responsible for 1-1 casework with families to support children into education, and overseeing our Family Support Volunteers.
You will work at CRDC’s centre as well as running weekly to fortnightly drop-ins at four asylum hotel sites across Croydon, working in partnership with other organisations, the accommodation provider, and CRDC staff and volunteers to identify and reach out to families new to the accommodation and families that might need extra support.
You will have the following responsibilities:
1.Offer practical, hardship support to families with children.
2.Build links with, refer and signpost families to other organisations that offer opportunities and support for children and young people.
3.Support and empower families new to the area (and the country) – by helping them understand and navigate UK educational and child-related systems – including supporting with in-year school applications and school liaison.
4.Support families transitioning out of the asylum system or area to find new support networks.
5.Work with the Operational Coordinator to run activities for children not yet attending school at our Wednesday Welcome sessions, and to run one-off outings and activities in school holidays.
6.Maintain our database and records detailing the support we are offering families.
7.Supervise and guide Family Support Volunteers within the team.
8. Undertake other tasks as needed for the organisation, at the direction of the Centre Manager.
The Croydon Refugee Day Centre (CRDC) is a small but specialist, primarily volunteer-led organisation, with 25 years’ experience of supporting asylum seekers and refugees across Croydon and beyond. Our vision is that all asylum seekers and refugees across Croydon are able to integrate into and thrive in the UK. To this end, we support them both with their basic, practical needs and their mental health and well-being – as well as to develop the support networks, skills and experience they need to flourish.
Over the past few years, the number of asylum seekers and refugees in Croydon has increased dramatically, and CRDC is increasing its services and staffing to meet the new level of need.
Contract: Fixed term for 12 months with likely extension, full time, 37.5 hours a week. 0.8 FTE will be considered. We are happy to explore secondment or hosting arrangements with likeminded organisations, in the UK or internationally.
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 depending on skills and experience, plus 5% employer pension contribution to INTRAC’s company pension scheme.

In the Register Enrichment team, our role is vital as we improve the quality of the information we hold about our donors on the register, to provide transplant centres with comprehensive and detailed options when searching for donors for their patients, allowing them to make better, faster choices, which ideally will lead to better outcomes for our patients.
You will do this by contacting existing donors on our register and asking them to provide us with a blood or swab sample for us to do further testing. You will communicate clearly with the donors by phone, text message and email, ensuring they understand the purpose of our testing and answering any queries they may have.
You will also communicate with donors to determine availability if the originally selected donor is unavailable at the time that they had been found to be a potential match. We then offer these donors as an alternative to transplant centres if the original donor cannot go ahead.
You will also speak to people who want to be tested for their relatives who need a stem cell transplant and facilitate this for them in a timely manner.

Working closely with the Communications Manager, the successful candidate will lead on our online presence to engage new and existing audiences through advertising and social media, ensuring a strong pipeline of applicants for our programmes. The Opportunity
MapAction has developed an exciting new strategy to make humanitarian response and disaster preparedness more effective. We need a dynamic, proactive individual for the role of Team Coordinator to support our volunteers who play a central role in MapAction’s work.
The postholder will work alongside our volunteer and staff team to ensure the effective support, coordination and engagement of volunteers as well as supporting training events and activities across the four pillars of MapAction’s work: emergency response, disaster preparedness, anticipatory action and training. Main Responsibilities
This role is pivotal to MapAction being operationally ready. The postholder is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement of highly skilled, specialist volunteers (MapAction currently has approx 100 in the UK, but plans to grow this and have a more globally diverse pool of volunteers). The role is established to ensure that volunteers feel valued, have access to relevant training that enables them to contribute in a meaningful way to the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer and Operational support

Serve as the primary point of contact for staff seeking volunteer support. Plan, forecast and maintain records of volunteer engagement and workload.

Coordinate the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract and retain a diverse pool of volunteers, including outside of the UK.

What the job involves
We're seeking an IT Support Coordinator to assist our IT Business Partner in the day-to-day operations of our IT team. In this newly created role, you'll be the go-to person for staff both in our London Bridge office and remotely.
As an IT support Coordinator, you’ll be providing first and second line support assisting with troubleshooting operating systems, applications, and network issues. This will include liaising with our service providers and escalating tickets, when necessary, as well as troubleshooting laptops, re-cabling workstations, and replacing faulty docking stations. Additionally, you'll support our video conferencing rooms, manage user accounts through active directory, and address printer issues by coordinating with suppliers to book engineers.
You'll also play a key role in advising staff on best practices, policies, and process improvements, fostering a culture of efficient technology use. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with our IT Business Partner to update documentation, handle administrative tasks, and improve asset management processes.
In this role you’ll get to work with colleagues across Prostate Cancer UK and support them in their efficient use of technology and contribute to our overall mission to give every man the power to navigate prostate cancer.
What we want from you
To be successful as an IT Support Coordinator you’ll have an excellent knowledge of operating systems, hardware and software (especially Microsoft products) or a willingness to learn.
With a strong customer focus, you’ll have previous experience of working in a telephone-based support team using remote control technologies. You’ll also have outstanding communication skills which enable you to deliver accessible advice. About the role
Facilitating learning through training is a key aspect of the organisations work and our engaging
materials play an important part in ensuring that the Star is used well. The charity delivers training
and learning through a variety of channels, including face to face and remote sessions.
The Training Coordinator plays a critical part in responding to, managing, scheduling and
