About This Job

You will provide effective administrative support to the Office Manager and the wider team to ensure the smooth running of the two charities, the Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCT UK) and the Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA). The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. The Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) is a community-led CIC supporting East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) migrants and refugees in the UK. We work to build an equitable society where ESEA communities thrive.

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead our programme team, deliver high-impact community services and advocacy projects, and strengthen partnerships across the sector. This role is central to coordinating multiple projects, managing staff, developing proposals, overseeing budgets, ensuring monitoring and evaluation, and representing SEEAC publicly with partners, media and stakeholders. The post works closely with the Executive Director and Partnership Development Manager, including on fundraising.

About you:
You bring 5+ years’ experience leading programme design, delivery, monitoring and reporting plus people management experience and strong communication, organisational and financial skills. You are confident engaging with diverse communities, funders and public audiences, and committed to safeguarding and data protection. Knowledge of issues affecting migrants and refugees (e.g., employment rights, discrimination, health inequality) and strong writing skills are essential. The successful candidate will manage and develop the Complex Needs and Community Teams at Hertfordshire Mind Network. About the role

The role requires travel across Hertfordshire to our Wellbeing centres, community partnerships and external organisations and is responsible for a team of staff and volunteers who work within Complex Needs and Community teams across the county.

As a Services Manager you will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and work in partnership with Complex Needs Team Leaders and the other Service Managers across the Charity. Reporting into the Director for Complex Needs and Community you will be directly responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of two or more of our Services and a key member of the Herts Mind Network Safeguarding team.

Responsibilities of the post

• Support the Director of Complex Needs and Community with effective running of the complex needs and community services.
• Build strong relationships and liaise with commissioners and partner organisations.
• Manage the Flourish and PCN contracts.
• Work closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
• Support the development of services by promoting and being responsive to changing needs.
• Oversee the recruitment and management of client facing staff.
• Be a strong safeguarding level 3 champion and manage/support referrals.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are current, understood by staff and that they are working within these policies and procedures.
• Monitor outcomes and evaluate the service, ensure all KPIs are met.
• Process referrals and manage and prioritise all administration tasks associated with the service, including Payroll and expenses submissions.
• Be part of the Senior Management on call rota (out of hours), attend SMT meetings as required and support the work of the wider SMT.

2026 marks 100 years since Gunnersbury Park was opened as a public park, and Gunnersbury Museum and Park Development Trust are looking to hire a freelance development manager to help us make the most of our centenary year. 

We are looking for an experienced development professional to join our team on a freelance basis as part of an Arts Council funded project. • Develop a suite of digital and print content to support the fundraising campaign, and train existing team on the best way to deliver messaging around the campaign
• Report regularly to the project board on the progress of the work stream, and identify any project delivery risks

Programme Support & Knowledge Director

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Location: The role can be based in the London, United Kingdom, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana and Rwanda, subject to right to work eligibility in the respective countries.

UK hybrid working – a minimum of 40 % of working time is spent face-to-face (London office, external meetings or travel). 60/40 hybrid working at WaterAid means roughly three days wherever you work best and two days together in person.

Salary: Salaries and benefits will vary in line with the location of the successful candidate and depending on experience.

About the team

The Programme Support & Knowledge (PSK) team is a critical and dynamic unit within WaterAid UK’s International Programmes Department (IPD), working across 17 countries in Africa and Asia. PSK is a diverse and motivated group of over 20 technical specialists and advisors committed to bringing sustainable WASH to the world’s poorest and most marginalised people.

About the role

As our Programme Support and Knowledge Director, you will play a key role in delivering our mission by providing strategic leadership to the PSK team and the wider IPD, as part of the department’s SMT. You will also input into organisation-wide initiatives, external collaborations and global networks to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will:

• Provide strategic and technical leadership to WaterAid UK’s programmes
• Lead the Programme Support & Knowledge Team
• Lead programme learning and knowledge management
• Oversee programme support and capacity development
• Support fundraising, external engagement, partnerships and communications
• Champion WaterAid’s commitment to equity, inclusion and safeguarding.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Extensive and deep experience in WASH development across multiple contexts
• Strong technical WASH skills – e.g. sustainable rural and /or urban water supply service delivery and management, climate resilient WASH, 
• Systems-thinking capability to support transformational WASH programming
• Proven ability to lead strategic, impactful initiatives in large organisations
• Strong understanding of planning, monitoring and evaluation in development
• Experience in knowledge management, learning and capacity development
• Proven experience of developing propositions and donor engagement and
• A track record of leading high-performing teams and supporting change

Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:

• Working knowledge of French, Portuguese or Spanish
• Experience leading or managing applied research
• Experience establishing and promoting technical standards.
