Reporting to our brilliant Business Development Manager and working closely with our Operations Manager, you’ll be a vital member of our charity team, responsible for supporting activity across community and events fundraising. The Role 

Fundraising and Impact Coordinator

o Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising applications, events and community initiatives

o Support the management of event logistics, including participant communication, volunteer coordination, and on-the-day activities

o Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations and build strong relationships for future collaboration

o Lead outreach efforts to engage new community partners, such as businesses, promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.

o Lead on generating income through diverse means

o To represent the charity in all spaces - implementing a rolling 12-month plan of meaningful touchpoints to deepen relationships

o Develop and implement a plan to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors with personalised cultivation and stewardship

o Serve as the primary point of contact for funders, donors and friends of Hopscotch Women’s Centre, ensuring they receive the information and support needed to maximise their fundraising potential

o Provide timely and effective follow-up communications with stakeholders, ensuring they feel valued and engaged

o Maintaining our CRM database, ensuring accurate records to track communications and data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.

o Work closely with Finance colleagues to process donations, Gift Aid and matched funding claims, ensuring this income is processed and recorded accurately

o Manage the distribution of supporter resources, conduct stock checks for fundraising materials and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising assets

o Create engaging materials (posters, leaflets, stories etc), working closely with our social media lead on content

o Produce impact reports and collate information for reporting to funders and to support fundraising initiatives and grant applications

o Work collaboratively with the wider team, to support their work whilst deepening an understanding of our services

o Support the CEO and Operations Manager with ad hoc projects, activities, and any high-priority tasks to contribute to overall team objectives

o Any other duties as required by the Business Development Manager

About the Role

We have a strong Fundraising & Communications team with a clear strategy in place to achieve growth of voluntary income from £2.7m-£4.1m a year by 2028. Role Purpose

To deliver and develop a high-impact mentoring programme through effective mentor management, community engagement, and high-quality organisation and programme administration around London. • Deliver excellent events experiences for Team CF participants at high profile events such as the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon
• Lead the two Events Coordinators in the development and implementation of our challenge events portfolio
• Work within a vision of exceptional supporter stewardship for events participants, designing and implementing supporter journeys with particular emphasis to both digital and personal touch points

 
To be the right candidate for this role, you will:

• Have significant experience in third sector and/or events environments
• Have effective project and mass event management experience
• Have an in-depth understanding of Gift Aid and fundraising codes of practice
• Be able to work flexibly and collaboratively with a range of people

This role will require travel throughout the UK for challenge events. You will be able to take Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) for this and claim travel, hotel and subsistence allowances.

A Deputy Contract Manager is to support the Area Service Manager who is responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff.
Experience with working with Severe Learning Disability, Profound Autism, and behaviours of distress needed.

What you'll do:
* Support the Area Service Manager to drive business planning activities within your contract, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing turn around action plans as may be necessary
* Support the Area Service Manager, using sound financial and accounting principles, manage contract budgets to deliver on corporate and local contract financial targets
* Successfully lead and motivate the team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
* Work to continuously improve staff competence, ensure ownership of all staff issues and speedy and effective conflict resolution
* Responsible for reporting all staff changes to HR and Payroll departments, as appropriate e.g. starters, leavers, additional hours etc.

Role Summary

Development Group generates philanthropic and sponsorship income to help us create a Natural History Museum for the future – investing in capital development, attaining vital acquisitions for the collection, transforming our galleries, developing innovative exhibitions and undertaking ground-breaking scientific research on issues that affect us all.

Reporting into the Head of Resources & Planning, this role provides the opportunity to join a Development operations team in driving forward the exciting, ambitious and transformational NHM150 campaign.  You will have the opportunity to be innovative and proactive, as well as utilise your creativity, project management and organisational skills to oversee donor recognition and ensure we are providing a consistent and best in sector experience for our donors and partners.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Stewardship and supporter journey

• Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Corporate Partnerships, lead the development of a structured, overarching stewardship programme that works across the Museum. Take a supporter journey approach and ensure the programme includes a creative and innovative range of benefits and recognition to foster well-managed, mutually beneficial and lasting relationships with funders.
• Coordinate stewardship efforts and work with colleagues to produce tailored stewardship plans.
• Provide strategic and day-to-day advice and guidance to staff on stewardship.

Funder recognition

• Work with the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships departments to ensure a cohesive approach to the funder benefits matrix and recognition and acknowledgement.
• Advise and lead on funder inclusion with event and event material including, speeches, invites and associated thanking moments
• Lead on the creation and implementation of a funder recognition strategy for each major project and giving mechanism, ensuring consistency with the Museum’sdeli Naming and Recognition Policy and including, but not limited to, funder boards and naming opportunities.
• Lead for Development on work with the Design, Comms, Marketing and Digital team to develop agreed frameworks and ‘lock-ups’ for the NHM’s brand and visual identity. Create agreed procedures to ensure sign-off by all parties which is effective and well-communicated.

Communications and reporting

• Support colleagues in researching, writing and producing high-quality impact reports for funders in line with Deeds of Gift, contracts and other agreements.
• Support the creation of the Museum’s Annual Review, Annual Report and similar impact reporting; ensuring appropriate funder recognition.
• Manage the annual Season’s Greetings cards creation and distribution

Other responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse group of Museum stakeholders, to ensure stewardship plans and activities are successfully coordinated and delivered.
• Responsible for oversight of Supporter Cards for key Development supporters, working with the Database team to create and distribute.
• Develop a strong knowledge of sector best practice through networking, benchmarking against comparable institutions, identifying and undertaking training and development opportunities, and where appropriate implement these best practices at the Museum.
• Record essential information accurately and appropriately, using Development Group systems and the Raiser’s Edge database. This includes tracking agreed and live negotiations for funder recognition and commitments on major projects.

What we’re looking for

Essential

• Significant experience in a fundraising / funder management role, or similar project management experience
• A strong working knowledge of the role of stewardship in the not-for-profit or cultural sectors, with the ability to initiate and manage stewardship activities.
• A proactive, positive and creative approach to stewardship, with the ability to recognise and create relationship-building and strengthening opportunities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both face-to-face and through written material such as letters, reports and visual presentations.
• Attention to detail and ability to successfully negotiate with colleagues across the Museum to monitor and deliver donor recognition requirements.
• A team player, able to work flexibly and positively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage a busy workload, set priorities, meet deadlines and work unsupervised.

• Experience working on a major capital campaign
• Experience of using a fundraising CRM such as Raiser’s Edge NXT

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. Our Data Operations Managers sit within Product and Systems Management team.

Our Data Operations Managers have a key role in ensuring our end to end processes are working through our central CRM system. These processes include the processing of our income through the system such as Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits.

This role also ensures our end to end data flows are fit for purpose and that data within it are clean, accessible and available.

This role is responsible for:

• Custodian of our CRM data and responsible for major data import/export into the system including data validation, de-duplication, cleansing and fixing of data throughout the multiple data systems.
• Responsible for the curation and management of import and export routines of key fundraising data using appropriate tools.
• Responsible for forming and managing how the functions work within the Organisation to build key relationships with key data users to ensure data is correctly ingested
• Responsible for defining and setting standards and principles of data use in the system and fully enforcing these principles across the Organisation and to suppliers.
• Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary

For this role we’re looking for:

• SQL (SSIS, SSRS) knowledge
• Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology

Volunteering Matters works with around 5,000 volunteers, 7,500 beneficiaries and 60 projects throughout England, Scotland and Wales each year.  At present, records are locally managed, relying on project-based IT solutions to record and report on activities.  To improve our efficiency in this area, we will be introducing a new digital platform for use across our work.  In spring 2025, we will be inviting potential providers to tender, asking them to tell us how they can work with us to develop an organisational-wide digital management tool that helps us manage our volunteers and activities more effectively.

In this role, you will operationally manage the activities and tasks outlined in the CRM project plan, working closely with the Head of Volunteering & Engagement, the CRM Strategic group and the CRM Working group.  The project plan includes four stages: (1) Understanding/prioritising our organisational needs, (2) Mapping potential providers, (3) Commissioning and deciding on a provider, (4) Implementation of a new system. We are currently at Stage 2, moving into Stage 3. 

This is a fixed term role with a two-year commitment (18 month contract) and delivery plan.  You will work closely with the National Volunteer Engagement Manager to help embed the new VMS or CRM across our delivery team, working practically and equitably with colleagues to understand any individual challenges or needs and finding appropriate ways to support them. 

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive CRM Project Manager to lead the next phase of our CRM development project.

You’ll operationally manage the delivery of our CRM plan, support the commissioning of a new system, and develop and drive forward a clear implementation strategy. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external providers to ensure smooth delivery, while coordinating training, ensuring compliance, and embedding inclusive practices.

The Advocacy, Advice and Information department works to empower people and communities, and challenge stigma and disadvantage caused by Mental Health problems. We champion individual’s voices, uphold their rights, and promote personal autonomy through the provision of high quality information, advice, and advocacy support.

The purpose of this role is to provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. To ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and to facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient’s forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one to one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.

Duties will include providing professional advocacy to all patients, informing them of their rights and supporting them with any issues that are impacting them during their hospital admission. Ensuring that advocacy is available for all patients, that appropriate methods of communication are available in order to meet the needs of all patients, and to be able to adapt to changing ward based or external changes.

This role is providing specialist advocacy for 12 Forensic Wards at Chase Farm Hospital and in community locations.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Forensic Advocacy Role within a Psychiatric Inpatient Setting and have at least 3 years experience of working in an Advocacy Role.
