The Benefits Service within South East London Mind is a well-established offer of support to clients who need to access welfare benefits they are entitled to receive. The service currently provides casework support for people who need to challenge benefits decisions across the three boroughs of Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich. We are looking for a Benefits Service Manager with significant experience of working within welfare benefits. You will have a good understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems and the links with welfare issues. You will take responsibility for the quality of support the team deliver to ensure it is robust and accountable. We hope to be able to extend our offer of support in the future so it will be important you have an interest in developing the service.

Founded in 2015 by Michael and Yvette Mansfield, SOS Silence of Suicide exists to break the silence around mental health and suicide. We’re looking for someone who is well-organised, solutions-focused, and can adapt their skills to the development and delivery of a diverse range of projects.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, skilled and passionate Project Development Manager to join our England Project Management team, working primarily in the South of England. 

The England Project Management Team manage all sorts of projects, from species recovery at a landscape scale to infrastructure repairs and commercial developments. Each day as a Project Development Manager is different. You might find yourself chairing a project team meeting one day, visiting a construction site the next, and negotiating with contractors the day after that.

As a Project Development Manager, you will directly manage some of the most ambitious and complex projects within the RSPB. At the same time, you will work closely with the Operations Director and Area Managers in the Southern region to develop a pipeline of projects across the South, and make sure they’re being well-managed.

Our project teams include colleagues from a range of disciplines as well as external consultants and suppliers. You’ll need to be able to build relationships across internal and external stakeholders and motivate others to get things done to keep projects progressing smoothly.

Key activities will include:

• Develop and manage one or more complex projects at any one time. To include budget management, stakeholder management, risk management, contractor procurement and other tasks as required.

The grants operations and data manager is a newly created role, within Moorfields Eye Charity's grants and research team, to support, manage and develop grant funding operations. The Role

Theirworld is seeking a proactive and collaborative Manager to support the development, delivery, and learning of education projects and innovation initiatives.

This role will work closely with the Director of Programmes and the wider Projects team to support the design and coordination of pilot projects that test bold, locally driven ideas across Theirworld’s three core pillars: Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future.

Vision Action, formally Vision Aid Overseas, is a UK-based charity, with a focus on fighting poverty by transforming access to eye care services in lower- and middle-income countries in Africa. The charity was established in 1985. Our work focuses on the development of services for uncorrected refractive error and primary eye health. Uncorrected refractive error is the world’s leading cause of avoidable visual impairment, with an estimated 670 million people affected worldwide. We develop programmes that integrate training, primary eye care, school eye health and facility developments into national and regional eye care plans, seeking always to be responsive to local need. In this way, we help children to learn and adults to earn so that they can provide for their families. Currently, the organisation has programmes operating in Ethiopia, Ghana, Zambia, and Sierra Leone.

Job Purpose

Vision Action seeks a highly dynamic individual for a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension. The position is part of the management team, and the post holder will be expected to lead on the financial accounting, management accounting, and budgeting for the organisation as well as taking forward some strategic finance and operations projects as we expand our programmes in existing countries. The individual will also be expected to support the Co-CEOs with administrative, compliance and IT related tasks.

The position holder is required to comply with all of Vision Action’s policies and procedures, including Vision Action’s Safeguarding policy.

Functions / Key Responsibilities:

1. Finance

• Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring accounting records are complete and accurate.

Financial accounting

• Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with SORP 2015.
• Prepare for the annual external audit and host auditors ensuring the audit process runs smoothly. This includes supporting Vision Action’s country offices in hosting their respective audits.
• Ensure annual statutory accounts are finalised and submitted to Companies House and the Charity Commission by the appropriate deadlines.

Management accounting

• Coordinate the month-end process with the Finance Officer (UK) and Programme Finance Lead, and review transaction postings.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with cash flow forecasts, modifying the format as needed to suit the preferences of senior management and the Board of Trustees.
• Prepare the annual organisational budget and mid-year reforecast.
• Improve existing budget templates to enable straightforward and transparent budgeting for donors.

Support to country offices

• Collaborate with the Programme Finance Lead on a monthly basis to reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring that reconciling items are cleared promptly.
• Support country office teams in fulfilling any reporting and financial compliance requirements.
• Conduct internal process reviews (internal audits) of country offices where required.
• Review the bi-weekly payment runs for the UK office and the monthly country office fund requests, ensuring cash flow planning is in place for these payments.
• Ensure asset registers are maintained appropriately.

2. Administration

• Support staff in conducting procurement in line with Vision Action’s procurement policy.
• Assist with preparation for quarterly Board meetings.
• Support office management tasks.

3. Other

• Review and develop existing policies and procedures (e.g. the Finance Manual).
• Conduct staff training on relevant policies and procedures.
• Any other task reasonably requested by your line manager.

Main purpose of post
This is a senior role within the Fundraising team, responsible for driving forward
Weston Park Cancer Charity’s income generation strategy across key fundraising
channels, particularly within community fundraising, donor development, and
community partnerships. Working with the Head of Fundraising and community
fundraising team, you will lead the design and delivery of an ambitious and
creative community fundraising programme.
You will be responsible for managing a small, dedicated team of three, ensuring
high performance, innovation, and supporter-focused approaches that help us
grow our impact across the region.
This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery, ensuring that we
meet community income generation plans to achieve and exceed annual targets
currently c. £800k per annum.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising:
 Lead and deliver an ambitious and creative community fundraising
programme, identifying new opportunities to engage individuals, groups,
schools, faith groups, sports clubs, volunteer fundraisers, and community
organisations.
 Maintain, develop and deliver a calendar of high-impact community
campaigns such as Time for Tea, that inspire participation, raise awareness of
the charity’s work, and generate sustainable income.
 Use insights and audience data to create tailored supporter journeys that
build long-term relationships, encourage repeat fundraising, and deepen
engagement.
 Harness audience data and insight to expand our fundraising reach,
increasing income in underserved areas of the region.
 Represent the charity at community events, delivering public talks,
stewarding key supporters, and raising awareness of WPCC’s work across
our region.
 Oversee the delivery of income and engagement targets, measuring impact,
evaluating outcomes, and embedding continuous improvement across all
community fundraising activity

Monitoring & Reporting
 Manage community fundraising income and expenditure budgets, ensuring
strong ROI and cost-effectiveness.
 Produce regular reports for senior leadership on performance, trends, and
forecasts.
 Ensure data is accurately recorded, monitored, and used to inform decisionmaking.

Team Management and Development
 Line manage and inspire team members.

 Provide support and guidance to the wider community and fundraising
team where appropriate.
 Set clear objectives, monitor performance and provide coaching and
development support.
 Foster a collaborative, motivated and high performing team culture.

 Ensure all community fundraising activities comply with legal, regulatory

Location: This is a woman only residential site, located in Brixton (South-East London) and benefits from great transport links, including convenient access to nearby train services. Kindly be aware that step free access is not available at this service.

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a rota varying 08:00 - 16:00 and 09:00 - 17:00, you may need to work outside these hours, including bank holidays as per service requirements. You will also take part in our out of hours on call rota for managers.

HerStory House is dedicated to empowering women with the skills needed to thrive in their chosen communities, maintain independence, and build a hopeful future. Our specialised, high-support, female-only residential service is tailored for women who are likely to meet the criteria for a personality disorder diagnosis and are at risk of entering or re-entering the Criminal Justice System. 

You will provide line management and leadership to the team so they feel empowered to be productive and perform well within their roles to a high standard, ensuring service quality and continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone compassionate and experienced in understanding the criminal justice system and offender personality disorder, someone who brings empathy, tailored support and real dedication to help each resident thrive. The role includes:

• Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
• Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service
• Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
