We are looking to recruit Project Coordinator(s) (Fathers team) you will be responsible for delivering a range of services supporting Future Men’s work with fathers. The post holder will alongisde direct work with fathers, support the Senior Leadership Team with formulating a strategy for developing work with fathers across localities, in line with FM’s vision, mission and values and Business Plan. A key element will be to support new developments, identify best practice in work with fathers and embed these in current services.

This full-time permanent role is based in south London and work alongside statutory services.

 At Future Men, through our practice-led services, we work with boys and men from childhood through to Fatherhood, to help them become healthy, dynamic, future men. From structured school programmes and youth hubs, to individual one-to-one sessions and outreach work, we provide the vital support and advocacy that changes boys and young men’s lives for the better. We focus our work with boys and men who face structural discrimination and disadvantage, including of race, income, and community. 

What will you do? 

You will work with a highly motivated staff and volunteer team to deliver a quality outreach advice and support service for individuals with an acquired brain injury in Gloucestershire.

We value transferrable skills and are particularly interested to receive applications from candidates who have experience of managing a client caseload and of working to empower and support vulnerable adults.

Under the direction of the CEO at Headway Gloucestershire, you will work alongside clients with complex needs to support their recovery, wellbeing, independence and autonomy, working towards agreed goals and recording key outputs and outcomes. This might include:-

1. Providing brain injury recovery information and advice, working with compensation situations and making referrals to clinicians and health providers.

2. Maintaining tenancies by assisting with paperwork, organising payment plans, negotiating with landlords or mortgage providers.

3. Form filling for welfare benefits, housing applications, blue badges and bus passes etc.

4. Supporting people to access resources in their local community including leisure, education, volunteering and employment opportunities.

5. Supporting people to attend appointments and meetings when relevant.

6. Working with other informal and formal support providers.

Join our dynamic and supportive team as a Deputy Manager in the Rough Sleeping Team, where you will play a pivotal role in tackling homelessness and supporting people who are experiencing rough sleeping to rebuild their lives. This is a unique opportunity to work with a forward-thinking local authority and a committed group of partners to bring about meaningful change in one of London’s most diverse and vibrant boroughs.

THSORT’s structure compromises of a Service Manager, 2 Deputy Managers, 6 Outreach Workers (some with specialist lead roles), 2 Navigators, Complex Needs Worker and an Information and Referrals worker. We support people who are rough sleeping and/or living on the streets of Tower Hamlets borough.

Your duties

As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for line-managing a dedicated team of outreach workers and navigators, ensuring they deliver high-quality services to individuals experiencing rough sleeping. Your leadership will be vital in driving operational effectiveness and supporting the team to engage with people who need help most.

You will work closely with local authority partners, statutory and voluntary services, and key stakeholders to ensure an integrated, person-centred approach to tackling rough sleeping. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of service strategies, bringing your expertise to enhance the partnership working ethos that is key to Tower Hamlets’ approach.

Your role will be essential in providing strategic oversight, offering guidance, and ensuring that your team operates in a safe, effective, and compassionate manner.

Work hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (Flexibility might be required at times to work outside these hours)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Community Outreach Manager to manage and expand our outreach efforts. The Community Outreach Manager will be responsible for leading a team to deliver Betknowmore UK's Community Outreach services, engaging with local communities, and supporting individuals impacted by gambling harms. 

This is a key leadership role that involves overseeing the service’s strategy, operations, and delivery, ensuring that services are accessible, effective, and meet the needs of diverse communities.

Key Requirements

Essential:

• Must be London based as you will be required to attend community events and in-person meetings within the Greater London area.

Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) has secured funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust to expand the Thrive Together programme (formerly VPPP) across the South East. This initiative connects veterans' support agencies, ensuring seamless pathways, safe spaces for veterans, and training for volunteers and staff working in veterans' mental health. They are now seeking a Families & Carers Outreach Officer to explore the challenges of reaching out to families and carers of veterans to improve the way that this support can be delivered.

VOS is an award-winning charity that offers welfare, wellbeing and mental health support and services to veterans of the UK Armed Forces and Merchant Navy in Portsmouth, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight. VOS provide a drop-in model of support, a welfare advice service, peer-supported wellbeing activities and social groups, with access to psychology, psychiatry, and therapy services.

The Families & Carers Outreach Officer will collaborate with the Thrive Together Portfolio Manager and VOS team to identify and improve outreach to families and carers of veterans, many of whom may not know they’re entitled to support.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience with identifying, planning, running, and evaluating pilot projects, research groups, and focus groups, while managing timelines. 
• Skills in sharing learnings and recommendations based on feedback, creating ways to measure service effectiveness, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Comfortable working with diverse communities, understanding their needs, and building solid relationships. Knowledge of or experience with the UK veteran community would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Experienced in planning and leading community workshops, guiding discussions, and encouraging participation from group members.
• Awareness of the specific communication and engagement needs relevant to the group or community you are working with, including cultural understanding of diverse family dynamics and considerations that may impact service delivery.

The 2021 Census shows that around 36% of Camden’s households are now made up of private renters, and in the Haverstock and Primrose Hill wards, where this project will operate, it’s 27% and 35% respectively. This group of residents is often unaware of what services are out there to help them, where they are located, and how they access them.

This new role has been created to outreach and engage with private renters in the 2 wards specified and it will also include information production, dissemination and project management work. The worker will set up the project and is the key person in ensuring the smooth delivery of it in line with its stated aims and objectives.

Please note: You will need to be based in/around London for this role as it involves work within specific locations in the London Borough of Camden and is not suitable for home working or long distance travelling.

Project management:

2. To help and support tenants to advocate on behalf of themselves, and when required, to advocate on their behalf with the landlord and/or agent regarding individual problems and issues.

1. To have an awareness any relevant developments (internal/external) which could impact on work of the project

2. To assist CFPT’s Organiser to identify and make applications to funders to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project, if this is required

To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated, flexible individual, who is passionate about working with young people around their sexual health. The postholder will conduct outreach, education, and training in several settings depending on the need of different young people. These could be educational settings, youth settings, community events, sports settings, clubs and pubs. You will target vulnerable young people, such as Looked after Children (LAC), those who are Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET), those who come from areas of high deprivation and high need, and those with other increased risk factors, as well as young people aged 13-15 who are not yet able to access online services. 

 As part of your frontline work, you will encourage young people to sign up for a C-card, and if aged over 16, register to Get It in order to order condoms and lube from the website. When appropriate, you will refer young people into appropriate local sexual health services for contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, STI screening and treatment.

Programme

METRO work closely with our partner Spectra to deliver sexual health services in the London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Richmond, Merton and Kingston. In these Boroughs, METRO deliver the Come Correct free condom scheme (C-card), the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP) as well as Get It, an online scheme which offers condoms, lube, Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea screens.

METRO also delivers training and education, aimed at both young people and professionals working with young people, as well as community outreach and engagement to reach young people directly- particularly those who are most vulnerable to sexual ill health. 

Outreach Support Worker

This is an exciting opportunity for a Young People Outreach Support Worker to work as part of a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported community-based accommodation located in Tow Law, County Durham.

About the Role

As a Young People Support Worker, you will work under the direction, guidance and support of a Service Manager and an Assistant Area Director you will be responsible for a caseload of clients as well as share responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service. 

In the community-based services, you will ensure that the accommodation is properly maintained and support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in positive and successful move on. You will ensure that their tenancy is not at risk and that they have the skills and resources to manage and maintain their accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients, adhering to safeguarding, emergency procedures, and health and safety protocols.

• Hold a caseload as key worker, delivering day-to-day and personalised support, including SMART support plans and regular assessments.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to provide holistic support, respecting data protection and partnership protocols.

• Encourage client participation in service decisions, community activities, and development opportunities such as education, training, and employment.

• Support new client move-ins, ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth transition into accommodation.

• Assist with property maintenance by conducting health and safety checks and responding to repair issues in collaboration with managers.

• Promote and support the work of volunteers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

• Maintain accurate records, attend meetings and training, and undertake additional duties as directed by your line manager.

Location: Outreach across Oxfordshire, with some office and home-based working. Our office is in Gloucester

Hours: Part-time (25 hours/week, 0.67 FTE)

Salary: £24,450 - £28,750 per annum, pro rata

The Role

At Toc H Newport, we offer co-produced activities, outreach services and practical support to some of the most disadvantaged individuals and families in the area, reaching over 600 individuals in 2024.Our vision is of a neighbourhood where everyone has the strong community life, emotional wellbeing and socioeconomic opportunities needed to flourish.

Our centre for service delivery is the Toc H Community Centre in Eveswell, Newport, where our offer includes our popular Stay and Play sessions for low-income families, and children’s after-school club Active Juniors. Our activities and services are incredibly popular, and we hold longstanding partnerships with local agencies and stakeholders. 

It is an exciting period of growth for Toc H Newport, with a number of new funding streams making it possible for us to reach many more families in need across Newport in 2025 and beyond. This includes a £300,000 grant from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s Community Ownership Fund, allowing us to soon complete a full structural and interior renovation of our facilities.  Following a Community Asset Transfer, our space will soon triple in size, meaning we can offer more activities and services to more local people.
