As Assistant Housing Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of operational efficiency across the Company's six residential sites and services for 206 residents, including leasehold. PA to Executive Director of International Programmes

Contract: 13 Months Fixed-term contract, Full Time, Maternity cover

About the Role:

The role will be split 80/20 with a majority focus on executive support for the Executive Director, ensuring they are well organised and briefed and supported to maximise her capacity to lead WaterAid effectively. The minority focus will be on general administrative support to the Programme Operations Director and to the International Programmes Senior Management Team. The role will also be instrumental in running operations in the department, including supporting the organisation with key high profile programme events, line managing the administrator to ensure the department is working effectively and efficiently within itself and the wider organisation.

In this role, you'll:

A) Provide professional, timely and proactive support to the Executive Director of International Programmes, including:

• Diary and meeting support
• Support internal processes, communications and prioritisation Support internal communications with the directorate and wider organisation so these are timely, strategic and engaging;
• General administrative support

B) Operations for the department

• Oversee departmental operations to ensure compliance with wider WaterAid processes as well as championing, innovating, or streamlining the department's process and procedure.
• Maintain effective filing systems ensuring archive material is safe and can be retrieved in line with Data Protection Regulations.
• Organise and lead logistical planning for any departmental events that take place in either the UK or Country Programme locations, as necessary.
• Work as part of a wider team of PAs and Administrators across the organisation, ensuring mutual support and good communication between teams.

About You:

• Proven successful track record of being a Senior Administrator or Personal Assistant in a global organisation, including exceptional diary management;
• Effective time-management, organisation and prioritisation skills, including ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and to keep track of high volumes of information within a busy environment;
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to assimilate information quickly and produce accurate minutes, clear PowerPoint presentations and written briefings;
• Integrity and the ability to act with discretion and respect confidentiality.
• Digitally literate with excellent IT skills, particularly for setting up virtual meetings and effectively using Microsoft Office tools, with extensive experience of using PowerPoint and creating simple and compelling presentations;

Role Requirements

 As part of the site services team the role holder will be expected to liaise with managers and staff across the Trust. The role holder is expected to work closely with the other members of the facilities team and assist in covering in the laundry, in the deep clean team or other works as and when required.

You will be a natural and enthusiastic housekeeper working not only as part of a team but also individually. You will be health and safety aware, take ownership of your own work, and be understanding of the children’s needs here at The Children’s Trust. Good organisational skills, flexibility and being friendly and caring in nature are a must for this role. Please note that the role requires a significant degree of manual handling and working with houses services and laundry equipment.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. We are recruiting for a Sales Assistant to join our wonderful Rustington team.

The successful applicant will be required to work 2 days per week including every Sunday. Each Sunday you be responsible for the management of the store, ensuring it showcases our wonderful donations and taking pride in maintaining a tidy and accessible space for all.

The successful candidate will support with sales, stock rotation, organising displays, store tidying and much more, whilst representing Age UK in a professional manner and reflecting our core values.

Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to handle/lift bags of stock (up to 10kgs.)

You will have:

• Experience in working in a customer facing role
• Experience of cash handling
• Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg's
• The ability to work as part of an effective team.
• Be able to lone work when needed
• Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to cultural differences and gender issues, as well as commitment to equal opportunities
• A flexible approach to work with requirement to work additional days to cover holidays and sickness or participate in trading outside of normal shop hours e.g. shop events

Development / Fundraising Assistant
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, with flexibility to increase to 37 hours per week. (Some evening and weekend work required in line with fundraising events).
Salary: £24,031 - £25,863 per annum FTE (£19,484.59 - £20,970 pro rata for 30 hours per week) dependant on skills, experience and knowledge

What will you do?

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to learn and grow within the Fundraising sector.

This is an integral part of the development team, providing essential support across various fundraising initiatives and providing excellent supporter stewardship (nurturing our supporters/fundraisers on their journey with us). What’s essential?

• Strong administration skills to maintain the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and previous experience of CRM systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting Fundraisers throughout their journey with us (stewardship) such as but not limited to; send materials to fundraisers such as t-shirts, and certificates, making calls/thank you calls, sending letters to event supporters.
• Attending events and assisting with activities on the day.
• Responding to supporters’ queries and requests, providing email cover across multiple inboxes.
• Help support content for communications/marketing.
• Help support the team identify fundraising opportunities.
• Maintain, develop and update the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) system and in turn become the team's champion/subject expert.
