The Role

• This role ensures the efficient delivery of a comprehensive residential rehabilitation programme with emphasis on supporting residents’ transition to independent living within their community.
• You will manage a multi-disciplinary team of therapeutic workers, counsellors and night workers providing support and leadership in all areas of delivery. 
• You will ensure that service delivery is in line with recommended professional good practice and Phoenix Future’s policies & practices and that the reasonable expectations of purchasers and service users are met.
• You will maintain a recovery-orientated approach to all undertakings and a demonstrable commitment to continued professional learning & development.
• As part of the management team, you will deputise for the Residential Service Manager as required.
• The role is based at Ophelia House, and you will be expected to take part in a on call rota to support the staff and service delivery.

The LN comprises 30+ staff working as part of a single team operating across the Methodist Church in Britain. The team is strategically and collaboratively managed by Learning and Development Managers (LDMs), each having responsibility for a number of Learning and Development Officers (LDO) working within a geographical area. You will lead and develop a team of support workers, providing guidance and motivation to ensure they can effectively support residents in working towards independence. Job summary: 

You will work as a member of Corporate Partnerships team which sits within Philanthropy and Partnerships. You will work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager (Account management).

You will manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, building excellent relationships with key contacts and cultivating them for additional support, providing first-class stewardship and maximising income-generating opportunities.

In addition to this, you will proactively support the development of new business opportunities, conducting prospect research and building relationships with corporate prospects.

You will also support the team’s administrative activities, with a focus on maintaining records and accurately recording and recognising donations, utilising our internal trackers and CRM database.

Principal accountabilities

• Manage a portfolio of low-level (£0k - £50k) corporate partners, including but not limited to fundraising, cause-related marketing, and sponsorship relationships.
• Proactively support the recruitment of new partners and the cultivation of new business opportunities. Conducting prospect research and developing impactful relationships.
• Deliver and support the team in providing first-class stewardship for corporate accounts.
• Support the creation of corporate fundraising materials e.g. posters and fundraising guides.
• Ensure contracts and legal responsibilities are drafted and in place for all partnerships and relevant activities, and conduct necessary due diligence.
• Process all thanking, banking and administration for corporate gifts received.
• Maintain and update the Raiser’s Edge NXT database in relation to your portfolio of supporters, including prospect and proposal tracking, ensuring that all data kept is in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
• Support with delivering High-Value Special Events, such as the coordination of guests, as required.
• Administration support, such as managing supporter mailings, managing the partnerships inbox and corporate web form enquiries.
• Research opportunities for development and recognition of corporate partners - e.g. charity awards .

• Develop a strong understanding of autism and the National Autistic Society’s services to demonstrate the impact donors can make to our work and the lives of autistic people.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Cancer Insight, as our Data and Impact Manager, you will be responsible for continually developing the charity’s knowledge of the Yorkshire cancer landscape by ensuring external data sources are regularly reviewed and interpreted, you will also apply insight and evidence to support activity across the charity, including identifying areas of greatest need, responding to data and information requests and supporting external communications.

Additionally, you will evaluate the impact of prospective and funded Research and Service Awards, conducting reviews of applications for funding to assess potential impact and providing advice and consultation on evaluations. The role holder will also collect and report data on the impact of funded Awards through an annual Impact Report, including creating and updating models to estimate Life Years Gained and the long-term impact of funded work.

Specifically, you will:

Data and Information

· Ensure a portfolio of data and evidence are maintained, analysed and interpreted on a regular basis and presented through reports, presentations and other materials to communicate key messages to internal and external stakeholders.

· Handle internal data requests, these will largely be to inform the work of the Research & Policy and Impact, and Brand & Relationships teams, and could include data and information for press releases, social media and presentations.

· Lead on external data and information requests, liaising with external stakeholders and producing insightful reports which show the charity’s expertise in cancer data and Yorkshire’s cancer landscape.

· Provide data and information to support the strategic planning of future work and priority areas.

Impact and evaluation

· Lead the pre-award impact assessment of proposals submitted to the charity, ensuring targets are accurate and acceptable. Sharing findings with internal and external stakeholders where appropriate.

· Contribute to the impact assessment of funded awards throughout their lifetime and beyond as required, capturing data annually.

· Conduct direct evaluation reviews of funded Services Awards on behalf of and in collaboration with internal and external teams and directly advising and consulting Award Holders on requirements for evaluation.

· Lead on the production of an annual Impact Report, gathering input from Award Holders and the wider Research and Services teams, summarising the activity of funded Awards, and estimating the collective long-term impact of all funded Awards using impact models.

Other responsibilities

· Line manage the Data and Impact Officer.

· Represent the Cancer Insight Team on charity-wide project teams.

About You

· To be educated to degree level or equivalent.

· To have experience of working in a relevant field at a similar level.

· To have experience of evaluating projects and the impact of work, including assessing progress towards KPIs.

· To be able to sift out the essential elements from a mass of complex information, integrate and synthesise ideas, and present information to others in an accessible way.

· To have excellent organisational and time management skills with a very strong ability to prioritise work, handle conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines, in order to effectively support reactive activity.

· To be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, using own initiative and being proactive to manage own workload, as well as supporting direct reports to manage workload and their priorities.

We’re looking for a Communications Manager to join us at the Co-op Foundation. 

The Co-op Foundation is the Co-op’s charity. We’re a grant making and campaigning organisation with a co-operative difference. We care deeply about how our funding and campaigning can shift power to young people and we trust our partners to do what matters most in their communities. 

As our Communications Manager, you’ll lead on the development and delivery of communications relating to funding programmes and learning and impact. It’ll be up to you to amplify and support the work of our funded partners, so we can expand and diversify the reach of our funding, promoting our distinctly co-operative approach to grant making so that we reach those most in need of support. You’ll have the opportunity to really get to know our partners, and help tell their story, and the amazing work that we do together.

What you’ll do 

• Develop, deliver and evaluate integrated communications plans for Foundation funding programmes 

• Lead the development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of a D,E&I workplan on behalf of the Comms team

• Collaborate with and manage delivery partners contracted to deliver comms for funding programmes 

• Produce content that brings to life the funding programmes, including videos, photoshoots, in depth case studies, blogs and more 

• Manage contracts and relationships with external agencies and delivery partners to support delivery of comms 

• Build relationships with relevant media outlets and journalists and be the main point of contact for PR relating to funding programmes 

• Work co-operatively with colleagues from the wider Comms team, Funding & Partnerships and Co-op Community & Comms teams 

• Forecast and manage the funds comms budget 

This role would suit people who have 

• Great communication skills, with the ability to write in an engaging way for different comms channels, in particular digital channels 

• Experience of working in a busy comms team in the charity sector, delivering multiple projects and campaigns at any one time 

• Experience of designing and delivering integrated comms campaigns, including internally to colleagues, with good knowledge of tools used for monitoring and evaluation 

• Experience of creating content and posting on social media channels and websites

This is an exciting new role to head up DanceSyndrome’s Community work across Lancashire developing, nurturing, growing, and managing our community workshops. At the heart of our organisation are our weekly bespoke Community Inclusive Dance Workshops; ‘Everybody Dance’. These workshops are co-delivered by a qualified Dance Leader with a learning disability, working side-by-side with a non-disabled Dance Artist. As part of our ambitious strategy, we will be establishing several new workshops across Lancashire over the next five years and co-delivering inclusive dance provision for all ages from early years through to adulthood by 2030.

As Head of Community, you will oversee several vibrant and active communities; build community engagement and cohesion; and to collect, collate and analyse key data to demonstrate impact and to drive forward strategic planning and decision making. This is alongside developing and managing both strategic and operational long-term partnerships & collaborations across communities in the North-West and building and executing an engaging and effective Volunteer Programme to support all Community workshops.

This role supports strand one of DanceSyndrome’s ambitious strategy; Vision 2023; ‘To deliver an outstanding, collaborative, and high-quality programme of co-produced and co-delivered inclusive dance across the North-West’.

You will pro-actively support our timetable of weekly Community inclusive dance workshops ensuring they operate to the highest standards of Quality & Excellence and making sure that all systems and processes are in place in relation to security, registers and payments.

You will line manage the Programmes & Operations Manager and Data & impact Manager and collectively drive forward all aspects of our Community work to the highest standards.  

You will manage key partnerships with Community Centres and be instrumental in engaging and onboarding new participants supporting DanceSyndrome’s ambitious Vision 2030 strategy to increase participation, and reach under-served and diverse communities, as well as executing our Children & Young People strategy working across all ages.

You will identify, understand and engage with key partners and Stakeholders who can support DanceSyndrome’s ambitions to be the ‘go to’ and ‘organisation of choice’ for people with learning disabilities, leadership opportunities and an inclusive unique co-led delivery model which doesn’t exist anywhere else. Through effective partnership working, you will work across sectors and reach under-served and diverse communities. You will also be able to identify key barriers to access, gaps in current provision across the region and seek valuable evidence to inform strategy and to feed back to funders.
