We are looking for someone who has a real passion about our mission and with proven ability in communicating sensitively with children, young people and their families.  You will have excellent organisational skills and be proficient in the use of IT.  You will need to be available for occasional evening and weekend work.

You will have experience working with vulnerable children and young people and will have a strong grasp of the realities of being a young carer in an inner city London borough.

We are looking for someone to join our Young People Learning team to support the coordination of our programmes for young people across England and Wales.

We are looking for someone with a passion for empowering young people and understanding of school’s curricula in England and Wales to coordinate.  Your role ensures that operational delivery plans are implemented in your defined area, meeting all targets and KPIs.  There is a significant external remit, and you will be expected to pro-actively manage relationships with schools and Local Authorities, to support schools as they participate in our programmes.

You will monitor the quality and impact of our programmes, ensuring this is captured and fed back to our Facilitators and Young People Development Lead to ensure continuous improvement.  You will also be working together with the rest of the Young People Learning team to coordinate activity, such as Workshops, Dragons’ Dens and Awards, to ensure a clearly mapped out timetable.  To support the Young People Administrator in scheduling activity, you will be expected to pass-on details from schools and partners in a timely manner.

You will also have opportunities to work with colleagues across the business, for example colleagues in sales and partnerships, to implement delivery plans as agreed by external partners and funders.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinating delivery of our programmes for young people, achieving allocated targets in England and Wales and complying with programme systems and procedures.

· Support the effectiveness of activities for young people by appropriately preparing facilitators and following up with operational stakeholders, such as teachers, after delivery to ensure sessions meet highest standards expectations.

· Support the delivery of successful events for our young people, such as Awards and Dragons’ Dens, and responsible for implementing plans, coordination and logistical arrangements.

· Ensure effective recruitment and retention of schools and young people, driving impact and engagement in allocated areas through developing and maintaining operational level relationships and customer service.

· Responsible for gathering and collating evaluation data and case study information during programme delivery and at events to evidence impact.

· Maintain up to date records on our CRM system, HubSpot, and impact data on Microsoft Forms and SharePoint.  

· Providing accurate management information and case studies for reporting to external stakeholders.

· Gathering intelligence and local insight, needs and funding opportunities to help inform the overall UK Young People sales and strategy.

· Work collaboratively with fellow Coordinators to lead the continuous improvement and innovation of processes and procedures, enhancing efficiency while developing your capability, confidence, and skills.

We require someone with excellent skills and knowledge in communications, public relations and marketing with at  least two years’ experience working in a busy and varied communications role. Although not essential, knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the charity sector would also be an advantage.

Within this hybrid role, you can be based at home or in an Emmaus community. Wherever you are located, maintaining ongoing positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders is vitally important. This role will suit someone located in Yorkshire or the North East as regular travel (usually at least one community visit per week) will be required to South Shields, Leeds and Hull.

Duties will include (but are not limited to) –

• Independently delivering chair-based exercise sessions on a daily basis in Croydon care homes to residents.
• Working as part of the health hub team to deliver health hubs in various Croydon locations.  If qualified also delivering standing exercise sessions.

Case Worker Team Leader Homicide

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader based in the West Midlands to join the Homicide Service team. This role involves managing and supporting operational staff to ensure the delivery of excellent services to those affected by homicide.

The West Midlands covers Birmingham, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. It is a requirement that you live within one of these area in order to carry out this role effectively.

Location: Remote/ West Midlands

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am -5pm

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £31,732.20 per annum

The Role

As a Homicide Team Leader, you will ensure the provision of high-quality services, maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, and provide strategic leadership to promote and develop services.

As a Homicide Team Leader, you will:

• Conduct audits and generate reports on case management systems, ensuring compliance with contract reporting requirements and national standards.
• Capture and analyse data to ensure outcome-based and evidenced work.
• Allocate work within the team, monitor daily caseloads, and identify trends or patterns.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, provide safeguarding advice, and prioritise client safety and dignity.
• Collaborate with managers to enhance service delivery, address performance issues, and support continuous improvement.
• Support with caseloads, conduct impact assessments, and provide comprehensive support to team members.
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and ongoing support for team members.
• Promote access to services through referrals and partnerships with local organisations.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, share feedback, and ensure effective communication channels.
• Adhere to data protection legislation, confidentiality policies, and organisational procedures.

About You

Ideally, you will have experience in developing and maintaining partnerships within a multiagency framework, and knowledge of intersectionality, especially when working with vulnerable individuals and those experiencing trauma.

You will need to travel across the region to fulfil job responsibilities and develop your role. Flexibility is essential, as the job may require evening, weekend work, and occasional overnight stays.

You will need:

• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and its impact on victims and witnesses.

• Awareness of confidentiality and safe working practices, including data protection.

Duties and Responsibilites: 

Involving people affected by sarcoma

• Strengthen and support our existing Involvement Network, keeping members engaged and informed.
• Facilitate a variety of inclusive involvement opportunities for people affected by sarcoma, reflecting diverse capacities, interests, and abilities, and ensuring these align with our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) framework.
• Recruit, induct, and train new Involvement Network members, promoting the network through Sarcoma UK’s communication channels.
• Develop systems to capture meaningful feedback and measure the impact of involvement activities.

Volunteer Management

Background and summary of the job

The Minster Centre is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee that provides training in psychotherapy and counselling and an affordable therapy service.

It was founded in 1978 as the first Integrative psychotherapy and counselling training in the UK and is a leading psychotherapy training institution. Now based in Queens Park, NW London, it runs training ranging from open access introductory courses to post-graduate degrees validated by Middlesex University. The Minster Centre caters for around 300 diploma and MA students each year. It is registered with the Office for Students.

The Minster Centre Psychotherapy & Counselling Service (MCPCS) also provides a safe, affordable and professional counselling service to people over the age of 18 who are experiencing a range of difficulties. We strive to offer a high-quality and affordable Psychotherapy and Counselling service to the community and to offer our trainees an experience underpinned by our values.

The Minster Centre Psychotherapy & Counselling Service Administrator will work with the Clinical Services Manager and one other Administrator to ensure the smooth running of the service and support in its continuing development.

Role purpose

Enquiries

• Dealing with phone and email enquiries including potential MCPCS clients, existing clients, trainee therapists and placement providers, etc.
• Emailing Assessment Application Forms, assessing suitability of enquirer for service – asking for additional help when required from the Clinical Services Manager.

Administration

• Providing strong administrative support to the Clinical Services Manager.
• Providing regular detailed data information to the Clinical Services Manager, including reports from Access Database and future Charitylog data systems about functionality of service.
• Inputting and updating student data spreadsheets and client spreadsheets relating to client session fees, providing reports and liaising with students, finance team and clients to ensure all session fees are up to date and reporting on any missed payments weekly.
• Administer MCPCS processes and procedures for instance by designing forms and records formats, ensuring they are available to students, supervisors and clients. Ensuring the service has paperwork available to operate effectively: Assessment packs; Allocation packs; student forms.
• Inputting data from paper records and managing electronic records. Keeping data management up to date and archiving files as and when appropriate.
• Assisting Clinical Services Manager and other senior leadership in overseeing MCPCS, with additional tasks as and when requested.

Terms and conditions

Salary: £14,045 pro rata (17.5 hours) - £28,090 FTE (35 hours)

Hours: 17.5 hours per week. Candidates must be available to work on Thursdays.

Location: Hybrid working (onsite and home). The applicant must be available to work from the Minster Centre office (Queen’s Park, NW6) at least one day a week which must include Thursdays.

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract

Holidays: 33 days (including bank holidays) pro rata
