Legasee is a charity committed to ensuring that future generations can learn about our history through the personal recollections of the men and women who witnessed it first-hand. We provide students, teachers and researchers with unique access to a high-definition video archive of interviews with veterans and civilians connected to British military conflict from 1939 to the present day.
We are now seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major new oral history project focusing on the Aden Emergency, made possible thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. At its heart, the project will record the oral histories of 30–40 veterans and civilians whose lives were shaped by service in, or connection to, Aden during the final years of British rule.
The Project Manager will have overall responsibility for project planning, delivery, reporting and budget controland will work closely with project partners and funders to ensure that agreed outcomes are met. The role will provide leadership and direction to the project team and its volunteer network, ensuring that activity is well coordinated, realistic and delivered to a high standard.
The recorded testimonies will form a permanent digital archive and support public engagement, interpretation,and learning, ensuring that the experiences of those who served are not forgotten. A key part of the role will be the recruitment, coordination and ongoing support of a part-time Project Coordinator.The Project Coordinator will lead volunteer engagement, research support, transcription, and day-to-day project activities.
Education is central to the project. The Project Manager will oversee the development of educational activity delivered in partnership with schools and community groups, ensuring that young people are supported to explore the history and legacy of the Aden Emergency through original research, oral history and the thoughtful use of digital technologies. This work will result in the creation of new teaching resources, deeper community engagement and strengthened links with educational and cultural institutions nationwide.
The role is home-based, with flexible working hours agreed to ensure effective delivery of the project and coordination with partners.
If successful, your role will be:
- To work with the charity, its partners and the Project Steering Group to complete the project, in line with the requirements of the National Lottery Heritage Fund and within a rigorous evaluation framework.
- To work with the lead oral historian to create a video archive of the personal experiences and observations of up to 40 veterans of the Aden Emergency and ensure that all participants are supported throughout the entire process.
- To work with volunteers and project partners to develop and launch a new interpretation.
- To work with a local school to deliver creative ways of learning about oral history.
- To be responsible for the overall recruitment, training and participation of all volunteers in the Project,ensuring that they benefit from their involvement by gaining new life skills and a greater understanding of the role of veterans of the Aden Emergency.

About the job
We are looking to recruit a Grants and Foundations Officer to join Caritas Salford’s fundraising team. You will be part of a team that is passionate about tackling poverty and inequality, where your work will have a real and visible impact. As a Grants and Foundations Officer, you will work closely with senior managers and service managers, researching potential funders, securing funding from trusts, foundations and other potential funding partners. As well as building and stewarding lasting relationships that will help sustain and grow Caritas’ mission. We will support your development, helping you grow your fundraising skills, take on complex projects and help shape bids for commissioned services.

Where you’ll be based

About the role
We are looking for an exceptional Programme Officer with experience of managing an integrated NTD programme within an international context, to ensure the successful implementation of the Reaching the Last Mile (RLM) programme. This groundbreaking project will strengthen health systems in Burkina Faso that work to eliminate river blindness (onchocerciasis) and lymphatic filariasis (LF). As Programme Officer, you will be integral to the planning, delivery and success of this work, whilst also supporting a range of other Sightsavers programmes and projects in Burkina Faso.
As NTD Programme Officer RLM, your key duties will include:
Supporting Project Management
- Work with partners to develop annual plans and ensure effective implementation

Job Purpose
Sister System is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Programmes to lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of our mentoring, learning, and development programmes for care-affected girls and young women aged 13–24. The postholder will oversee the full programme cycle — from referral and assessment through to delivery, evaluation, and progression — ensuring all work is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and aligned with Sister System’s mission and OCN accreditation standards. Acting as the central link between the leadership team and delivery staff, the Head of Programmes will manage and develop a high-performing team, maintain quality assurance across all programme stages, and foster strong partnerships with schools, local authorities, and community organisations to drive measurable impact and long-term systemic change.
This role holds operational oversight of all programme delivery, team management, and quality assurance, ensuring that our work achieves its intended outcomes, aligns with our organisational strategy, and continues to grow in impact and reach.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership and Delivery

Lead the design, coordination, and delivery of all Sister System programmes, services, and activities in line with organisational aims and funder requirements.

Job Summary:
This involves assessing, allocating and supporting our tenants on their journey with Stay and assisting successful move on. Teamwork is also a key part of this role to work alongside the wider housing team towards team and organisational objectives.
Role Specific Responsibilities:
· Deliver pro-active engagement with tenants to increase the potential for income collection by education, support and other interventions with customers as appropriate and in line with Stay’s policies.
· Provide advice to tenants on tenant and landlord roles and responsibilities in accordance with tenancy/licence conditions in face-to-face sessions or via the telephone/email/letter/text.
· Advice and guidance on issues such as tenancies at risk, whether through rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, property maintenance, unemployment, mental health issues and finance.
· Identify any/all factors that may be contributing to rent arrears: money mismanagement, budgeting issues etc.
· Give advice and assistance with housing problems including information on housing options.
· Take responsibility for a designated caseload of tenants requiring housing support including the identification of prospective tenants. Assist new tenants, particularly vulnerable and young tenants to set up and maintain a tenancy and be able to access support needed. Together with the customer draw up a personal housing plan.
· Assist tenants with security and safety matters within their home including door/window security, advice regarding household appliances and controls for heating, providing details of the repairs service and how to report and arrange repairs.
· Actively work with the tenants and colleagues around issues placing the tenancy at risk including breaches of the tenancy agreement: arrears, harassment, nuisance and other disputes when required.
· Build effective relationships with external agencies (both statutory and voluntary) and maintain a knowledge base of these to signpost customers as required. Share information, where appropriate and in line with data protection and confidentiality, to meet the needs of the tenants.
· Ensure the maximisation of rent collection in line with targets and reduce rent arrears on a continuing basis through the effective enforcement of the rent arrears policy, procedure and systems working alongside the rents officer.

· Work collaboratively with the referral and assessments officer to evaluate applicants, conduct thorough needs and risk assessments, and perform reference checks before extending accommodation offers.
· Carry out an appropriate induction to the allocated Stay property once an offer has been made to an applicant.
· Liaise with The Rent Officer and Housing Benefit to ensure the customer’s account is active and the customer is aware of their responsibility of providing any information to ensure the housing benefit is paid and reduce all arrears.
· Liaise with Housing Benefit, Employment Services, Social Services, Probation Services and other authorities as necessary in relation to housing management.
· Ensure that tenants are compliant with and kept fully informed and consulted on matters affecting their Licence or Tenancy Agreements and they understand their rights and responsibilities: respecting other tenants, non-use of drugs etc.
· Ensure incidents/Safeguarding are fully reported and investigated and act to resolve the problem or take holding action until a permanent solution is found.
· Work with the Voids and Maintenance Team to undertake regular visits to the housing properties to inspect the accommodation and get customer feedback to ensure that repairs and cleaning of the buildings are carried out promptly to a high standard and that safety and security is maintained.
· Adhere to Stay’s Safeguarding Policies and take responsibility for making Safeguarding referrals to the relevant services and report any concerns to Stay’s Designated Safeguarding Officers.

What we are looking for:
· Strong experience analysing marketing performance data across multiple channels (digital, brand, fundraising, PR, paid media etc.).
· Demonstrable experience designing or implementing measurement frameworks, dashboards, KPIs, or campaign reporting approaches.
· Experience working with audience insight (quantitative and qualitative) and translating this into practical recommendations for campaign planning or proposition development.
· Experience working with analytics, data, or CRM teams to extract, clean and interpret data into marketing strategy.
· Experience presenting insight and performance findings to senior stakeholders, with clear recommendations.
· Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and turn evidence into actionable improvements.
· Highly analytical, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Able to communicate complex information simply and compellingly.
· Curious, evidence-led mindset — always seeking to understand “what’s working and why”.
· Comfortable challenging constructively and influencing decision-making.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to plan and manage multiple insight or analysis workstreams simultaneously.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Salary: Circa £36,000 per annum, plus benefits
