The Passage are an incredible London charity providing people experiencing homelessness with the support to transform their lives. Their vision is of a society where street homelessness no longer exists, and everyone has a place to call home. In 2024-25, they supported over 2,000 people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
This permanent role is based in Westminster, London and comes with a salary of £41,438 (inclusive of London weighting). About the Role
This is a key role at a time of growth and opportunity, as The Passage implements their new three-year strategy, The Art of the Possible, focused on three core objectives: preventing, convening, and sustaining. These objectives will be underpinned by a commitment to collaboration.
This role will lead on cultivating and managing relationships with a diverse portfolio of charitable trusts and foundations, driving sustainable income through strategic prospecting, compelling funding proposals, and exemplary stewardship. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will develop innovative bids aligned with The Passage's services and strategic goals, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to funders. You will also support budgeting and performance monitoring, contribute to income forecasting, and maintain detailed records using Salesforce.
This role is key to securing long-term support and deepening engagement with funders to help expand The Passage's impact.

Role Purpose
The Operations Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of all operational aspects of Katherine Low Settlement. The Opportunity
The Director role is a new opportunity working across ImpactEd Evaluation. Our partnerships encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. Across all our partnerships, we aim to design and deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions for children using good evidence.
As a Director, you will be a senior leader of the evaluation practice and a statutory director on our Practice Board. Reflecting this, you will have a key role in the success of the practice, both commercially and in terms of social impact, and help to shape and deliver the strategy for ImpactEd Evaluation as a practice within ImpactEd Group, reporting to the Practice Lead.
The role will be a combination of business development, oversight and support of evaluation delivery, and strategic responsibilities. Role - The focus of this role is to develop and maintain a range of effective systems and processes to ensure the success of a high-quality infrastructure support service for the local VCSE sector, providing support across all areas of activity. Enhance is the newly funded VCSE infrastructure support service in Redcar and Cleveland made possible through the collaboration of a number of funders to fill a gap in local provision.
Lloyds Bank Foundation, Rank Foundation, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Tees Foundation and the Woodsmith Foundation have provided three years of funding and commissioned MVDA to develop and deliver a VCSE infrastructure service (Enhance) in Redcar and Cleveland.
Enhance will provide practical support to VCSE organisations based in the Redcar and Cleveland area who deliver services to local people and communities.
The service model for Enhance is based on three key areas:
Improvement – Providing practical support through an information and advice service. This will include for example advice on governance, funding, policy and practice
Growth - The development and delivery of a comprehensive training programme for all VCSEs in Redcar and Cleveland
Influence - Work to support the building and development of relationships; collaborative work across the VCSE sector and cross-sector partnerships

The Regional Manager role will oversee the Scotland Frontline team in engaging with more people in poverty, developing local partnerships and providing support to our vendors.
Our Frontline Team are part of The Big Issue Community Interest Company (CIC) and was set up to widen the support package we offer to our vendors and people in poverty. This is enabling us to provide not just sales support for our vendors selling the magazine but also outreach services such as wellbeing, financial, mental health and employment support.
You will be the strategic lead for the region, taking responsibility for performance against organisational KPI’s, service development, team leadership, development and motivation, vendor engagement and working with the Managing Director to ensure financial performance and that vendors, and others working with the CIC have access to the right support, opportunities and community services to move out of poverty.
You will have proven ability to think strategically both in the short and long term, leadership abilities, the ability to build and motivate high performing teams.
