Prospectus is delighted to be working with the Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) to support the search for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join the Fundraising team. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be looking after a portfolio of longstanding five-figure partnerships and will focus particularly on building new business relationships.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time (part-time considered) basis paying a salary of £39,083 per annum. This role can be fully remote or hybrid. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will engage with and steward existing partnerships with support from the Head of Fundraising and Director of Fundraising. A key focus of this role is to proactively make approaches and initiate new relationships.

The ideal candidate will be eager to initiate and successfully secure new business partnerships for the ROS. The candidate will need to have examples of doing so within a previous role/organisation. ROS’ team of experts in their field and talented fundraisers are looking for someone who will bring their own ideas and collaborate across teams. There is no need to have knowledge surrounding Osteoporosis already but a willingness to learn is essential.

Your new role
The Corporate Fundraising Manager role is instrumental in driving the charities' mission forward by creating, managing and expanding their portfolio of corporate partnerships. Mind's Partnerships Fundraising team - part of the wider fundraising directorate - is responsible for generating income from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations, the statutory and corporate sectors.

The New Corporate Partnerships team is comprised of a head of team, two senior managers, two senior officers, three officers and one assistant.

The New Corporate Partnerships team has been at the forefront of securing some fantastic partnerships for Mind such as, Allianz, Bupa, Co-op, Direct Line, Dunelm, ITV, McLaren Racing, and McVitie's, to name a few. Our partnerships cover the spectrum of partnership types; strategic and Charity of the Year partnerships (COTYs) and brand and commercial partnerships. You will help us build on our success.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

Working with the Head of New Partnerships, the New Corporate Partnerships Manager will:

-Help develop and implement the Corporate Partnerships team's new partnerships strategy, working closely with the Head of New Corporate Partnerships and other team members.

-In year one, be accountable for delivering an individual income target for 22/23 and supporting the overall New Partnerships Teams' multi-year income targets and ROI, working with the Head of New Corporate Partnerships and reviewing progress on a monthly and quarterly basis.

As the Fundraising Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for delivering and managing strategic partnerships between corporate partners and the Harlequins Foundation, building strong relationships with a focus on maximising income and raising awareness of the Foundation’s purpose.

The Harlequins Foundation is the charitable arm of the Club, delivering programmes in our communities that primarily support young people to develop the Essential Skills, enabling success on and off the pitch.

Role: Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager
Reporting to: Senior Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager
Purpose of job: To work as a key part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, line managed by the Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, and accountable to the Museum’s Director. This role will bring in vital income from trusts, foundations, corporate partners and individuals to deliver the business plan. This role has responsibility for achieving income targets by collaborating across all departments to understand and translate fundable and core activities into compelling cases for support.
Working pattern: 35 hours per week, usually worked from 10 – 6pm. Flexible/hybrid working offered for up 40% of hours to be worked from home.

The Philanthropy & Partnerships team
In Autumn 2023, Foundling Museum delivered a successful, ambitious capital campaign to secure the future of the Museum through a variety of supporters, from individuals, major supporters and trusts/foundations.
The Philanthropy team is responsible for the funding revenue needs of the Museum, which for 2024-25 is c£800,000, making up approximately 36% of total income.
The post of Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager will deliver against personal targets toward this goal. Remaining income includes Arts Council England National Portfolio funding, NLHF funding, core earned income (admissions) and trading activities (retail and venue hire).
The Philanthropy and Partnerships team collaborates closely with the Director, Chair of Trustees and Development Consultants and across all departments to understand and translate fundable and core activities into compelling cases for support. Across a year the team raises vital income for exhibitions, learning and participation activities, events, capital projects, an established endowment fund and unrestricted revenue income.

Rays of Sunshine exits to brighten the lives of seriously ill children aged three to 18 across the UK by granting magical wishes and providing ongoing support within the community. Our work creates a positive distraction, reduces isolation, improves self-esteem and creates precious memories and smiles.

You will be joining a small but passionate team, full of positivity, energy and drive to succeed and we need someone who will be a part of our success, helping to achieve our new vision for the charity to ensure we can creating lasting memories for all children and young people with a life limiting illness.

In this role you will be responsible for working across corporate partnerships, major donors, trusts and foundations, with a prominent focus on supporting with account management of existing partnerships and developing our pipeline of prospects. The charity has a history of success in these areas and we would love to have someone join the team to build upon this success.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships

• Support with creating proposals and pitches to secure Brand, Corporate and Commercial Partnerships, with a strong focus on shared purpose and mutual benefit, to create successful long term strategic partnerships.
• Support with relationship management of current partners of Rays of Sunshine, ensuring they have materials to aid their fundraising.
• To manage the input of corporate partnership data on the CRM system (currently Donorfy).
• Manage the updates to the corporate pipeline master document, ensuring appropriate actions are met within deadline.
• Supporting the Corporate Volunteer Researcher to undertake the necessary research to support our pipeline of approaches.

Philanthropy

• Creating supporter updates and reports to demonstrate the impact of funding received from our Patrons and Major Donors, providing excellent stewardship to existing donors.
• Provide support with the event planning of major donor events, and attend in person to provide support of events on the day. 

Trusts and Foundations

•  Support with research and the successful completion applications to secure donations from a pipeline of identified Trusts and Foundations

Stewardship

•  Identifying new opportunities to create wow moments for donors and provide excellent stewardship of all major donors and partnerships.

General

• General administrative duties, including record meeting notes and actions, following up with partners, sending out of promotional materials, monitoring and responding to email enquiries, and taking telephones calls.

NRPF Partnership

The NRPF partnership was set up in 2023 and is being developed by Citizens UK, Migration Exchange, and Praxis. We are working to build the necessary infrastructure for collaboration across a range of organisations, amplify their work, and build power to win change against the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) condition. Each partner contributes staff capacity and will work closely with the appointed person to ensure a positive, professional and supportive culture. The Partnership centres around: 

1)  Placing decision-making power and strategic vision in the hands of people doing the work 

(frontline staff and people with lived experience), via a steering group and working groups.

2) Establishing a strategic pooled fund so that the steering group has sufficient budget to guide the collaboration, act, identify and seize political opportunities, and facilitate active participation of everyone involved.

3) Expanding the movement and building power, using incremental wins to build towards broader change towards the goal of ending NRPF.

The Person and the Role

100,000s people in our communities have put down roots in the UK but are denied access to the welfare safety net (No Recourse to Public Funds).

Citizens UK has worked with Migration Exchange and Praxis to raise over £2m to develop a 5 year partnership to enable the movement to end NRPF.

This Senior Project role will be a core part of the support to the steering group of the partnership to make sure it runs effectively and achieves its potential.

This role will lead and coordinate all project management and tactical activities necessary to support the day-to-day functioning of the NRPF Partnership.
