About us:

The Choir with No Name runs choirs and builds joyful singing communities with people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation, around the UK. We currently have choirs in Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Brighton, Coventry, Cardiff and Sheffield.

We were founded on the premise that singing makes you feel good - it helps you to build confidence, skills and genuine, long-lasting friendships. Our choir members are people who have experienced homelessness, or who are going through a tough time in their lives. Our choirs are a supportive, safe space for people to be among friends, where they can experience the joy of singing together, have fun, build confidence and skills, and feel more able to tackle life's other challenges, such as securing housing or finding work.

What we do is simple: our choirs meet once a week for a cuppa and a catch up, we then sing our hearts out for an hour and a half and sit down together afterwards for a hot meal cooked by volunteers.

We perform regularly at a whole load of different places, including local homeless hostels, community festivals and world-class venues, such as the Cadogan Hall and Brighton Dome. Gigs are a highlight for everyone at the Choir with No Name, offering members something to work towards together and feel proud of, showcasing their many talents to the world. The thrill of performing in front of appreciative audiences in inspirational venues can instil a sense of purpose and self-worth that may have been lost along the way.

We also deliver community projects for people at risk of homelessness, or who are experiencing related issues (such as mental health challenges, drug and alcohol addiction, refugees and asylum seekers) in each of the cities where we work, motivated by a desire to share the joy of singing with as many people experiencing isolation and marginalisation as possible, and hopefully recruit a few more choir members along the way!

About the role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative manager for our London choir involving people impacted by homelessness. You’ll be part of a supportive team at CWNN and will work closely with our choir director to deliver fun, inclusive, welcoming rehearsals and gigs throughout the year.

This is an exciting and varied role working with our choir members and volunteers to support the safe running of weekly rehearsals, as well as delivering regular gigs and outreach workshops across London (and beyond!).  You will need to be available to attend Monday night rehearsals in Stoke Newington London and have an understanding of working with people who have experienced complex trauma. We are looking for someone with impeccable organisational skills and the ability to multitask, as well the ability to take a creative approach to delivering inclusive group activities. Experience in volunteer and project/event management is desirable, as is a love of music and an understanding of the positive impact of singing together.

Role overview

The Transformation Hub Manager will play a pivotal role in reshaping our service offerings by creating a vibrant, inclusive, and strengths-based hub for our communities - many of who are underserved, including asylum seekers, refugees, residents facing isolation, and those affected by homelessness. You will lead on the delivery and successful management of our National Lottery funded RenewALL Hub, transforming our ideas from concept into a sustainable, impactful centre for community wellbeing. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Hub Development

• Lead a team to ensure the successful implementation of the RenewALL Hub project, as submitted to the National Lottery Community Fund, aligning all activities with our “Open House” strategy and theory of change.

• Direct the strategic transition from over-reliance on a traditional Food Bank to an empowering Food Club model, reinforcing pathways from crisis to independence.

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the Hub space, ensuring it is safe, welcoming, and open 7 days a week.
• Coordinate and support staff, volunteers, and sessional workers across the Hub, embedding strong safeguarding and trauma-informed practice.

Promotion & Outreach

• Work with the marketing team to promote the Hub’s activities widely, ensuring strong engagement from under-represented and vulnerable groups.
• Conduct outreach to engage under represented residents, ensuring activities are culturally inclusive and accessible.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Compliance

• Lead on the monitoring and evaluation requirements of our Lottery bid.
• Use monitoring and evaluation tools (e.g., Upshot) to track engagement, outcomes, and impact, ensuring activities remain effective and relevant.
• Ensure compliance with all necessary regulations, safeguarding, and legal requirements.

Person Specification

• Responsible to the Housing Manager for delivering a high-quality, customer-focused housing service to ex-service personnel and their dependents.
• To provide an effective and responsive housing management service for a patch of Stoll properties, meeting agreed performance outcomes and objectives for key

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact in relation to housing applicants, ensuring that all data is recorded accurately on the housing database, and the waiting list is
  managed efficiently.
• Take part in the Allocations process, working with the other members of the Housing team to ensure that all voids on the patch are efficiently allocated and that let targets are met.
• Undertake viewings, sign-ups and new tenant visits, working in partnership with the Support team to ensure new tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities and are fully supported through the process in order to successfully sustain their tenancies.
• Investigate and make recommendations on the suitability of applications for transfers and mutual exchanges in accordance with established procedures.

About the Role 

As Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving income growth across key streams, including regional corporate partnerships and individual fundraisers. You will have the opportunity to build and nurture successful relationships with supporters, offering the highest levels of stewardship while managing multiple priorities. 

Additionally, you will contribute to income reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring that pipelines of prospects and partners are accurately maintained and strategically developed.

In this Role You Will: 

• Drive growth in our key income streams of regional corporate partnerships and supporter led fundraising individuals. 

• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while providing the highest level of stewardship to all supporters. 

• Contribute to departmental income reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. 

• Ensure the pipeline of prospects and partners is kept up to date across all income streams. 

• Develop and implement safeguarding procedures relevant to the role, ensuring children, community members, staff, and volunteers are protected from harm. 

About You 

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Experience in a corporate and community fundraising environment.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining the highest level of supporter stewardship. 

• Strong experience of building successful internal and external relationships. 

• Solid organisational skills to ensure fundraising activities are planned, implemented, and completed to the highest standards. 

• Creativity to generate innovative ways to support partners and fundraisers, fostering long-term supporter relationships. 

• Experience of financial budgeting and reporting. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission, and values.

We are now recruiting for a Lead Coach in Islington - an outstanding opportunity to work as part of a local church to deliver the Spear Programme.

You’ll be working with the local church to manage the delivery of Resurgo's award-winning Spear Programme. Over the last 20 years, Spear has supported more than 11,000 young people across the UK with the work-ready skills and mindset they need to succeed in employment, no matter the challenges they face. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.

Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]

• Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
• Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room.
• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.

Delivery of Spear Career [20%]

• Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.

Training the Asssistant Coach [10%]

• Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.

Trainee recruitment [10%]

• Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.

Continuous professional development

• Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and supporting the Church Partnerships Managers with overall team training and development.

Personal qualities we're looking for:

• An active Christian, passionate about personally representing the values and beliefs of Resurgo and the partner church
• You have demonstrable experience as a coach, or a background in youth work or teaching, and are keen to develop these skills further
• You have a heart for young people and releasing their potential, no matter what challenging circumstances they are facing
• Effective interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence with a sense of humour and fun
• You are great at building relationships, with solid communication skills

Wood Lane End is a specialist supported living service designed for individuals with learning disabilities and Autism, particularly those with complex needs and behaviours that challenge. The service is structured around a single-customer model, meaning the home is tailored to one individual, ensuring highly personalised care and support. Staff are trained in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) and Autism-specific approaches to ensure the customer's emotional and physical wellbeing is prioritised at all times.
