Job Title: Housing Support Worker
Location: Non residential service which is based in Brent (Close to the Civic Centre), you will provide support based in the main office and in the wider community, including homes
Salary: £27,000

In this role, you'll be at the heart of delivering high-quality, person-centered support to vulnerable adults who have been or are at risk of homelessness. You will create tailored support plans to provide practical interventions, to empower our participants to overcome personal challenges, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals. We work for better oral health for all through a number of interconnected programmes including advocating at global conferences and meetings, local groundwork throughout 28 volunteer Chapters, designing and recommending better oral health policies for national governments through our Policy Labs and more.
We are looking for a freelance Director of Operations and Finance to work for an average of 4 days a week for a total of 180 days a year. They will be part of the senior leadership team alongside the Chief Strategy and Advocacy Officer and the Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy
● Deliver our Operations and Finance KPIs as outlined in the Charity’s strategy; as well as being jointly responsible for the successful implementation of the full strategy.

Scope of role

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Income generation
- To plan for and deliver income to target through key performance indicators as agreed with community fundraising manager.

- To build the family ambassador programme within the region, growing the network of key supporters who will represent and be the face of the charity within their local community.

- To record all communications accurately on the database, ensuring information is gathered and recorded in accordance with the requirements of the data protection act, GDPR and the charity’s data protection policy.

- To deliver an excellent supporter journey and contribute to the central supporter journey for community fundraising.

The Private Sector Partnerships Division (PSP) sits within the Office of Partnerships, Advocacy and Communications under the overall oversight of the Director General. Objective: Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission in the UK and with technical coordination from the Private Sector Partnerships Division to ensure alignment with IOM's overall strategic goals and objectives for the IPF, the incumbent will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Islamic Philanthropy strategy in the UK. This role will focus on mobilizing resources through Zakat, Sadaqah, and other Islamic charitable giving mechanisms by engaging international charities, financial institutions, foundations, corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and relevant stakeholders within the UK.

Scope of Work:
- Strategic Planning and Landscape Mapping
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for the growth and sustainability of the Islamic Philanthropy Fund (IPF) in the UK.
- Map out the IPF landscape in the UK, including how UK-based Islamic charities and grantees operate, and identify the specific regulatory frameworks applicable to them.
- Assess the size and volume of funds mobilized by Islamic charities, with a particular focus on Zakat and Sadaqah donations.

The Role
Working within our International Partnerships, Programmes and Research (IPPR) team, the Senior Programme Development Officer will secure income for Peace Direct through research, development and management of relationships with new and existing funders. The post holder will proactively identify new funders, write proposals and reports and steward relationships to secure and maintain the funding necessary for Peace Direct to achieve its organisational goals. This includes programmatic, research, advocacy and strategic funding, working with restricted and unrestricted grants from institutional and trust and foundation funders ranging from £1,000 to £1m+. In collaboration with others, the post holder will also accompany advise and support local partners to diversify their funding.
The role is for someone with an enthusiasm for working with funders, with a strong track record of successfully securing grants from trusts, foundations and/or institutional donors. You will have strong writing skills, exceptional attention to detail and be capable of working effectively and efficiently to tight deadlines. A strong affinity with peacebuilding and an interest in challenging the way the international cooperation and peacebuilding sectors works would be beneficial, as would language skills in French, Spanish and/or Arabic.

Job Title: Executive Administrator
