Job Summary

Beyond Sport has an immediate opening for a creative, results-driven storyteller with a passion for developing impactful, integrated marketing campaigns. Reporting to the New York-based Director of Content and Communications, the successful candidate will develop and deliver strategies that promote sport for social change and build audience support and engagement.

The Marketing Manager will collaborate with a cross-functional international team and external partners on compelling campaigns and collateral including social media advertisements, email campaigns, web pages and narrative content as needed. They will also support on special projects, events, fundraising initiatives and applicable program deliverables. This is a hands-on role for someone with long-term vision, an innovative mindset and is skilled at public engagement, education and enhancing brand visibility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Campaign Management

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and multi-channel campaigns that deliver to Beyond Sport’s organisational and departmental objectives, while increasing brand awareness and deepening audience engagement
• Collaborate with Digital Content Manager and internal staff on content planning, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across platforms.
• Responsible for overall day-to-day campaign management, including market research, audience segmentation, content development and execution and performance reporting
• Develop and implement SEO strategies, manage keyword research, optimise website contents and analyse performance to increase rankings and engagement.
• Oversee Google Ad Grants and Facebook/Meta Business Manager Ad accounts
• Assist with the continuous refinement of our audience personas and engagement workflows to enable quality user experiences
• Lead the creation of brand marketing materials and collateral, ensuring that the foundation has the right mix of assets and channels to successfully advocate for sport for social change
• Oversee the marketing budget and deploy resources efficiently
• Deliver on marketing elements for program partner and sponsor campaigns and initiatives
• Assist Digital Content Manager with bi-monthly e-newsletter as needed to maximize audience reach and engagement

Data & Analytics

• Leverage expertise in market research, consumer insights and data analysis to optimize campaigns, attract and retain subscribers and ensure maximum ROI.
• Implement digital marketing best practices, including audience personas, A/B testing, SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, etc.
• Track and analyse campaign performance and ROI; adjust KPIs and strategies as necessary to achieve targets
• Convert complex data into understandable reports; present the results to management and partners as needed
• Collaborate with Digital Content Manager on social media strategies to increase daily engagement and grow followers
• Input on most suitable data capture and metrics evaluation strategies

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in marketing and/or communications roles, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
• Experience working internationally or with diverse international stakeholders a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media platforms, email marketing software, post schedulers and web analysis tools
• Be well versed in paid and organic media, content marketing, lead generation, optimization and interpreting data to improve performance
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
• An artistic eye and experience with graphic design, eg. Canva or Adobe Photoshop
• Tech-savvy, keeps up to date with digital media and market trends as well as traditional and emerging technologies

The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.

Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]

• Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.

• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.

Training the Assistant Coach [10%]

The Operations Manager is a key role within the team, ensuring the effective and efficient management of the SLG’s three sites: the Main Gallery, the Fire Station and Art Block. This includes managing the maintenance and upkeep of the SLG’s Grade II listed buildings and artist-designed gardens, as well as leading the Front of House team to ensure that the SLG provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors and a high quality of visitor experience. 

The Operations Manager works closely with the Deputy Director and manages a team comprising two Operations Supervisors, the Gallery Technician and contracted and casual Front of House staff and Cleaners. The role takes the lead on the implementation and monitoring of the SLG’s environment and sustainability policy and contributes to organisation-wide work towards the SLG’s equity, diversity and inclusion objectives. 

The post holder will be required to be an appointed first aider and a fire marshal, as well as a primary keyholder. They may, therefore, be called upon for out of hours emergencies. Appropriate training will be given.

The Opportunity

This role at WFN provides an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of our growing Winner Network Development (WND) programme, identified as one of the charity’s key areas for strategic growth and maximised impact over the coming years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing communicator who is passionate about conservation and can drive forward and create connections between our global network of over 220 conservationists, fostering knowledge exchange, capacity development and collaboration. As part of this programme the Grants and Network Manager (GNM) will help with delivery of annual thematic training workshops, with opportunity for international travel. The GNM will also assist our Head of Grants (HG) in monitoring our portfolio of active grants, with support from the Grants Assistant (GA). • Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
• Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner. 

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

• Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

The Development and Advocacy Department are looking to appoint an experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our Philanthropy team on a permanent basis. Reporting to one of the Senior Philanthropy Managers, in this role you will manage a number of philanthropic relationships and make a significant contribution to the team through developing new initiatives and growing the portfolio.

The ideal candidate profile for this post will be a team player, with the following credentials:

• An established track record in philanthropy or fundraising for major organisations
• Demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of high value relationships with experience of personally securing significant gifts
• Ability to think strategically to devise relevant engagement and cultivation plans and identify opportunities for approaches to prospects
• A balance of experience and innovation to be able to develop new ideas and launch new initiatives successfully
• Credibility as an ambassador in the area of philanthropy, able to work effectively at senior levels and liaise with high-net-worth individuals
• Strong project management skills, with demonstrable experience of solving complex problems, drawing on given resources and collaborative working

A working knowledge of our repertoire is not a pre-requisite for this role but the ability to upskill quickly in our art forms in order to confidently speak to prospective donors is essential.

SHINE is a membership organisation offering free services and support to over 14,700 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), and associated conditions.

We currently have 750 members living with NPH and this is growing significantly each month. This role will provide a specific focus on the area of NPH, whilst also supporting wider Shine activities. 

Main purpose of role 

Deliver a high-quality service to and facilitate opportunities for, individuals living with NPH/dementia and their families/carers through Shine membership across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. 

Empower and enable members living with the conditions to lead healthy and happy lives through greater independence, better condition management and by creating links to the Shine community and their local networks. 

Raise awareness of NPH across Health & Social Care professionals and the public. 

Support the planning and delivery of the annual NPH Awareness Week. 

As part of a high performing team, support Shine to be recognised as the number one provider of support for NPH outside of the NHS. 

Promote and support all Shine’s services and activities.

In this way we ensure our policy and influencing work is rooted in the day-to-day experiences of women and what will make most difference to them and their babies. 

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will manage and develop all aspects of Birth Companions’ criminal justice-based services and line-manage the criminal justice services Coordinators, (currently three staff members but this likely to increase as we expand our services).

They will develop and maintain strategic partnerships with other relevant agencies and ensure the successful delivery of services through internal monitoring and evaluation, external evaluation and the charity’s governance structures.

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of new prison and wider criminal justice system-based services through stakeholder engagement and service design where opportunities are identified.

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will also contribute to the policy, engagement and strategic work of the organisation where appropriate.

Salary

The salary for this position is £52,526 per annum and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
