The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of Magic Me’s impactful intergenerational arts projects. Key Responsibilities

As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Project and administrative support:
  • Assisting the Project Manager with coordinating project logistics, including scheduling, booking spaces, and organising refreshments.
  • Updating project budgets and submitting invoices to the Bookkeeper.
  • Supporting the Project Manager in planning and delivering performances, exhibitions, and events.
  • Managing the materials inventory and sourcing environmentally friendly resources for workshops.
• Project promotion and participant engagement:
  • Helping to manage communication with participants and partners.
  • Assisting with volunteer coordination.
  • Supporting participant recruitment efforts for projects.
  • Helping to raise Magic Me’s profile by sharing images and stories for social media content.
• ​Monitoring, evaluation and reporting:
  • Assisting the Project Manager with data collection for project feedback and ensuring continuous learning.
  • Supporting the programme and development teams with preparing reports for funders and internal use.
  • Assisting with reporting by keeping accurate records of participant engagement and feedback.
• Administration and team collaboration:
  • Undertaking general administration tasks related to project activities.
  • Supporting the wider Magic Me team through the management of Petty Cash (training for Xero will be provided).
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to deepen knowledge and prepare for a future career pathway within Magic Me.

Our Offer & Benefits

• Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, pro rata.
• Holiday: 25 days and bank holidays (pro-rata) + days between Christmas & New Year. Additionally, we are trialling an additional week of leave during August 2024 and 2025, which may be offered in 2026 if successful.

The Role 
 
As Deputy Shop Manager at our new shop in Skipton, initially, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in setting up our new shop, recruiting volunteers, and making plans to ensure the shop is ready to open. You will then ensure the smooth running of the shop long-term. 

You will manage the day-to-day operation of the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager, including managing a team of volunteers, ensuring accurate accounting and handling of assets, delivering high standards of customer service, and adhering to all charity policies and procedures. You will lead by example and ensure that volunteers, supporters, donors, and customers understand how their contributions are making a difference to the lives of people in Yorkshire and beyond. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Play an active part in running our shop in Halifax, supporting the Shop Manager in implementing processes and ways of working.

• Provide cover for days off, holidays and sickness as required, with possible occasional travel to other shops to provide support if needed by the charity. 

• Support the Shop Manager to maximise the income and profit of the shop through active stock management, replenishment, and rotation. 

• Manage a team of well-trained volunteers in the absence of the Shop Manager and take every effort to create a positive  retail environment. 

• Support the Shop Manager to ensure accurate accounting and handling of assets (items donated and money received). 

• Support the Shop Manager to ensure accurate record keeping of items donated and the amount paid for each item for Gift Aid tax reclaim purposes. 

• Create a welcoming professional atmosphere and deliver high standards of customer service for all customers and supporters. 

 
About You 

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• To ideally be educated to GCSE level or equivalent but not essential.

• Experience of managing people/volunteers including recruitment and development.

• To be highly organised with good time management skills.

• To be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

• To be able to use own initiative.

• To be resilient and adaptable to change. 

• To have good planning, guiding and motivation skills to successfully achieve targeted income is desirable.

• A willingness and ability to occasionally travel across the Yorkshire region as needed for training sessions and team meetings.

About the role:

This role is based in Ashford, Kent and is offered on a hybrid basis, working from home, the office and also requires regular travel travel across Kent and Medway.

As the Operations Manager for our Community Team you will be responsible for the daily activities of a diverse group of staff working with people who have experienced different crime types, reporting to the Area Manager.

What you will do:

The role encompasses all aspects of digital marketing activity, including both B2B and B2C. You’ll also be supporting commercial activities for Waddesdon Manor, the trading company RWL which includes Catering for the Manor operation, visitors, retail, public events, private events, The Bow and The Five Arrows, and any special projects for the Rothschild Foundation e.g. future commercial property developments.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop and deliver an online strategy to drive engagement and conversion across Waddesdon’s digital channels.

As a Senior Employment Advisor, you will sit within the Employment & Careers team, supporting the direct delivery of our employment service by recruiting beneficiaries through outreach and supporting them to secure or progress in employment.

We work collaboratively with the Ambitions Partnership - a coalition of 35 national organisations - to drive meaningful change in policy and practice for palliative and end-of-life care. Our work is underpinned by evidence, lived experience, and a commitment to tackling inequities in care.

This is your opportunity to design and manage the delivery of a new and exciting programme of work for the Ambitions National Partnership for Palliative Care and End of Life Care, working with senior NHS and statutory and voluntary sector partners. You’ll also lead an innovative Marie Curie pilot focusing on working through primary care to improve end of life care in care homes. Your expertise and evidence-led approach will help shape decisions at local, regional, and national levels - creating a more equitable system for those at the end of life.

You will be responsible for: 

• Leading delivery of the Ambitions Partnership’s new work programme - setting clear outcomes, managing budgets, and keeping activities on track.
• Developing partnerships across the health and care system, fostering collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Enabling evidence-sharing by producing high-quality reports, briefings, and resources for policy and practice audiences.
• Managing the care homes innovation programme, ensuring learning is shared nationwide and translated into practical change.

• Proven experience in designing and managing impactful programmes for policy and practice change.

Events Fundraising Manager role:

We are seeking a highly organised, creative, and results-driven Event Manager to lead and grow Roundabout’s events portfolio. This is a pivotal role in our fundraising team, taking overall responsibility for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of our events programme to maximise income, engage supporters, and raise awareness of youth homelessness in South Yorkshire.

As Event Manager, you will have ownership of our flagship events — A Night at the Musicals, Sleep Out, and The Yorkshire Chocolate Festival — ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard and achieve ambitious fundraising targets. You will also lead the development of our third-party events calendar, identifying and leveraging opportunities such as the Sheffield 10k, Tough Mudder, and Sky Dives to engage new audiences.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of Roundabout’s events strategy and portfolio, ensuring all events contribute significantly to income generation, supporter engagement, and brand awareness.
• Set, monitor, and deliver against annual KPIs, budgets, and plans, working closely with the Fundraising Manager to ensure strategic alignment and maximum return on investment.
• Oversee all event planning processes — from initial concept through to research, delivery and evaluation — ensuring detailed work plans, risk assessments, and supplier agreements are in place.
• Evaluate the performance of all events using data and feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation across the portfolio.

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for both charity-led and third-party events, ensuring they are motivated, supported, and delivering to a high standard.
• Oversee the supporter journey for all event participants, ensuring exceptional communication, stewardship, and engagement from registration to post-event follow-up.
• Manage event marketing and promotion in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team, ensuring targeted campaigns maximise reach, participation, and income.
• Produce accurate and timely reports on event performance, supporter engagement, and income tracking for internal stakeholders and trustees.
• Present and pitch on behalf of Roundabout at networking events, corporate meetings, and public speaking opportunities, inspiring audiences to support our mission and take action.
• Represent Roundabout at networking opportunities, partnership meetings, and external events, acting as an ambassador for the charity.
• Ensure all events are delivered safely, legally, and ethically, in line with Institute of Fundraising Codes of Practice, relevant legislation, and Roundabout’s policies.
• Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to be present at key events and activities.

Future Foundations is an education programme of Katherine Low Settlement.
