The post holder will also be the key contact for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs as necessary and will track the company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
The post holder will also seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company and research and analyze financial reports and market trends. The post holder will also be responsible for the management of Family Gateways assets, IT and quality assurance systems and will ensure Family Gateway is complaint in all areas of risk, governance and business.

Following the completion of a 5 year plan, the organisation has decided to invest in Individual Giving as it has been noted there is lots of room for improvement, one of which is dividing the team into separate retention and acquisitions teams. This is a new role for the Circuit, replacing a volunteer. In designing the position, the Circuit has aimed for maximum flexibility to secure the best candidate for the role. Initially, the person will need physically to attend some meetings to familiarise themselves with the Circuit's operations and ensure a smooth hand-over. The Richmond & Hounslow Circuit comprises seven churches in southwest London. As with all Methodist circuits, these churches function autonomously yet collaborate closely in their ministry and mission efforts. The Circuit oversees joint resources, including staff and property. As a part of the Methodist Church, its mission is “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”.
