Our Individual Partnership programme provides those called to Christian ministry with an account to manage financial support and tools and training to be effective in raising and maintaining a team of supporters.
As the Support Raising Development Lead within the Individual Partnerships team, your role is to train, coach and develop best practice and thought leadership for individuals and organisations who adopt the Support Raising model.
Success in your role will be seeing the individuals and organisations we serve supported sufficiently in prayer, financial giving, and encouragement to enable them to thrive in the ministry to which God has called them, ultimately resulting in increased grants out to them from Stewardship.

Basis is looking to appoint a Navigation and Support Worker (Intensive Support) who can provide appropriate emotional and practical support to women in the sex industry and/or those who are being sexually exploited. The women we work with often require intensive practical and emotional support as well as help to navigate health and, social care, the criminal justice systems and other services. The women’s circumstances can impact their mental or physical health. They may also be at risk of or experience homelessness and come into contact with the criminal justice system. Many of the women may experience historic or current sexual and/or domestic abuse.
Working within a harm reduction ethos prioritising women’s safety and wellbeing, the intensive personalised supported will help women to access other services and making appropriate referrals for women who wish to access additional support, including exiting/transitioning out of sex work. You will be responsible for ensuring that women with varying needs are supported effectively throughout their pathway of support with Basis and partners, advocating for and with the women you are working with including, where necessary, challenging stigma and judgement women face.

Our services in Leeds provide support to adult women (and those identifying as women/non- binary) involved in all aspects of the sex industry or who are experiencing sexual exploitation. The postholder will provide support to women identified as requiring or accessing intensive support. The team work to Basis’ organisational values, taking a rights-based approach and provide evidence-based services to enable and empower women to make informed choices. The team have an established reputation for providing high quality, effective safety advice, information and support, enabling safer working practices. Services are provided within the community, on evening outreach and at venues as women determine.

About the role
This role supports service delivery in Scotland, within our Services and Influencing Directorate. Service and Influencing delivers impact and change for people with arthritis through our support services of a helpline, online community and other digital tools, to our community delivery across our four nations so that people can connect and learn the tools to self-management and keep active.
This role’s purpose is to deliver high quality and efficient administrative support to the Scotland Delivery team and to work alongside colleagues to support the delivery of their activities effectively.
About you

About the role
We are looking to recruit a permanent multi-skilled advocate to join our busy Berks multi- disciplinary team, working up to 37 hours per week, minimum of 28 hours, starting salary £23,611 per annum, (pro rata).
In this exciting role you will be acting as an independent advocate supporting clients to ensure they get their voices heard. This may include providing advocacy across a number of different strands, such as the Mental Capacity Act, Care Act and Mental Health Act.
What we need from you
We are looking for someone who has the creativity and enthusiasm to support people in difficult circumstances, ideally has experience in a health or social care and may have their own life experiences relevant to the role. If you haven’t got advocacy qualifications it’s not a problem, we will provide the required training.
As this role is home based with regular travel, mainly but not exclusively in the Berkshire area, you must have access to both a stable home broadband service and easy access to transport as well as flexibility with working hours.
There may be times when work is required outside normal working hours so flexibility is required.
We also need you to live within Berkshire or surrounding counties.

About this exciting opportunity
As Women’s Wellbeing Coach, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users, who will be female adults aged 18 years and above on remand and unsentenced within HMP Peterborough. This role will involve completing Trauma Informed assessments and developing, in collaboration with each service user, action plans which will result in timely and prescribed outcomes being achieved.
We will also rely on you to create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users and to deliver a range of interventions which contribute towards achieving pre-determined targets. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with external agencies and working towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales are both essential aspects of the role, as is providing updates and reports, where required, using a range of formats.

- Experience of working with females and supporting them to achieve positive outcomes.
- Experience of engaging successfully with challenging people.
- Proven record of delivering one-to-one and group coaching solutions.
- To have a relevant qualification to a good standard or be working towards one.
- Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) qualification or willingness to be trained to the required level.

- The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, person-led support.

Pete’s Dragons is an award-winning charity which provides post-vention support to those affected by suicide.
As the Charity continues to grow we need to increase the number of Suicide Bereavement Specialists who provide the Charity's post-vention offering at our Plymouth office.
Job Summary
The role of the Suicide Bereavement Specialist is to provide a proactive and timely community-based support to individuals, families, groups and/or communities who have experienced a suicide loss.
The hours for this role are flexible, with 22.5 hours/week being the minimum.
*Please note: Ability to travel is an essential part of this role.
Main duties
Support
Offer a sensitive, compassionate and needs-led service to individuals, families, groups or communities affected or bereaved by suicide.
Offer rapid response (within 48 hours), information and support to individuals, families, groups or communities who have been bereaved by suicide, in their home or other agreed settings, and follow with ongoing practical and emotional support; mainly through non-clinical interventions that promote coping and resilience so our beneficiaries can face and overcome their traumatic bereavement.
Exercise good judgement in assessing each case and establishing the most appropriate steps for ongoing support, signposting or onward referral.
Co-ordinate where necessary, a safeguarding response in line with local practices and services to ensure that an individual is safe and has an organised package of care to ensure they survive their crisis in the most helpful manner for them.
Produce an area-specific suicide bereavement resources pack to include all relevant information on support services and processes following a suicide death.
Develop strong relationships with key agencies and first responders in the area to establish ways to connect bereaved individuals in a timely and helpful manner (e.g. police, emergency services, clergy, child services, coroners, funeral directors).
Contribute to critical incident responses where appropriate and take an active role where possible.
Assist with the early identification of potential suicide connected deaths and liaise with the Pete’s Dragons suicide surveillance team and appropriate stakeholders and relevant agencies, to ensure timely and appropriate coordinated responses.
Undertake collaborative multidisciplinary work to uphold safety and support for the communities of need (e.g. working with school staff, mental health staff, peers, or family members) to ensure they are contained by well-informed communities.
Administration
Work internally with the Senior Management Team, suicide bereavement colleagues, placement counsellors and therapists and in conjunction with external agencies to ensure parity of service across the whole of the County of Devon.
Maintain timely administrative updates on the Pete’s Dragons’ case management system.
Maintain an effective and efficient diary of appointments.
Participate in the implementation and promotion of the Devon Suicide Prevention Implementation Plan and understand how the role of both the Suicide Bereavement Specialist and Pete’s Dragons fits within it.
Contribute to training/awareness raising in suicide bereavement.
Gather and report on all qualitative and quantitative data required in relation to monthly activities and casework.
Adhere to all Pete’s Dragons’ policies and procedures and ensure security and confidentiality of all related data.

Job Purpose
Money Minded: Professional advice and support because your mental health matters
Money Minded is a new service designed to support adults, (18 years and over) in Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hounslow. The service provides support with welfare benefits, accessing debt support, housing and well-being/peer support groups/workshops.
The role of the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will be to provide advice, guidance and customer representation to tri-borough Residents living with Mental Health difficulties. Advice issues may include, housing, benefits, council tax, accessing debt support, signposting etc.
The successful candidate will deliver support to enquirers and manage a caseload of individuals, as agreed with the Service Manager. In addition to advice casework, the Mental Health Information and Advice Officer will also be expected to assist onboarding referrals to the service, as and when needed.
The successful candidate will be required to work alongside the Team Leader and volunteers supporting on the project, within the Advice Quality Standard framework (AQS) and adhere to Mind’s policies and procedures.
Due to the nature of the work, if successful, you will need to have an up-to-date DBS check completed, prior to undertaking unsupervised client work.

Key Responsibilities

Person Specification
Knowledge & Experience
- Substantial experience of delivering advice in a similar position, preferably to individuals with Mental Health needs
- Knowledge and understanding of Mental Health problems and how they are impacted by social issues
- Experience of delivering advice, information and customer representation
- Experience of managing complex cases
- Experience of working with multiple agencies
- Experience of delivering desired outcomes in a timely manner
- Up to date knowledge and experience of safeguarding adults
- Understanding of the importance of monitoring and evaluation, and the ability to keep records
Skills & Attributes
- Relevant and up to date knowledge of welfare benefits, housing and social care
- Facilitate and deliver peer support groups for longer term improved wellbeing
- Ability to communicate effectively in person on a one-to-one basis and with groups, as well as over the telephone and in writing
- Excellent listening skills
- Computer literate, with the ability to use MS Office, email systems and databases (inputting information and extracting reports)
- Ability to liaise with a range of people – customers with support needs, carers, and a range of different professionals
- Ability to remain calm in challenging situations and reinforce boundaries
- Ability to support people to manage difficult feelings, and communicate their needs effectively
