Nacro is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Policy & Public Affairs to lead our strategic policy development and influencing work with Government, officials, and other key decision-makers. Key Responsibilities

Partnerships Manager: Grantmakers

Role Purpose
As Partnerships Manager: Grantmakers, you will lead the development and delivery of HOST’s Hosted Grantmaking service — ensuring that funders can move resources quickly, safely, and transparently to the people driving change.
You will oversee funder relationships and hosted grantmaking delivery, building systems that ensure clarity, compliance, and care at every stage. Working closely with the Delivery Circle, you’ll strengthen due diligence, grant management, and reporting processes — enabling funders to trust that every pound achieves its intended impact.
In order to respond to growing demand, you will build and manage the Hosted Grantmaking Community Support Team and liaise and coordinate with the Delivery Team, ensuring HOST has the capacity and expertise to meet growing global demand for hosted funds.
This role is central to HOST’s ambition to become a trusted backbone for civil society infrastructure — connecting funders and change-makers through integrity, efficiency, and shared purpose.
Core Responsibilities
1. Hosted Grantmaking Leadership
Lead the delivery and growth of HOST’s Hosted Grantmaking service, working closely with the Executive Director, Operations Director and other Partnership Managers, ensuring alignment between funder expectations, hosted partner needs, and internal delivery capacity.
Co-design and coordinate the Hosted Grantmaking Delivery Team, coordinating with the Delivery Circle (Finance, Due Diligence, and Legal) to ensure seamless grant operations.
Strategic oversight of hosted grantmaking cycles — from application to disbursement and reporting — ensuring accuracy, speed, and compliance in delivery.

2. Hosted Grantmaking Community Support and Relationship Management
Build and lead the Hosted Grantmaking Community Support Team, ensuring all funders and hosted funders receive consistent, proactive, and informed communication.
Strengthen HOST’s funder community by developing engagement pathways, events, and resources that deepen relationships and mutual learning.
Maintain high standards of care, responsiveness, and accountability across all funder interactions.

3. Due Diligence and Grant Facilitation

Support the development of clear SOPs for due diligence and hosted grantmaking workflows in collaboration with the Legal Lead and Operations Team.

4. Funder Relationship Stewardship and Growth
Support the Partnership Team to manage relationships with key funders and philanthropic partners, ensuring HOST is recognised as a trusted, transparent delivery partner.
Develop funder engagement plans and manage the funder relationship lifecycle from onboarding through renewal.
Identify new funder opportunities aligned with HOST’s mission and facilitate introductions for the Partnerships Director and Executive Director.

5. Reporting and Communications
Oversee funder reporting and impact communications, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with HOST’s tone of voice.

6. Systems and Process Development

7. Risk, Compliance, and Escalation
Identify and escalate financial, operational, or reputational risks associated with hosted grantmaking or funder engagement.

Contribute to HOST’s monthly organisational risk report.

8. Collaboration and Cross-Team Development
Work with the Partnerships Manager: Funders to align Hosted Grantmaking within HOSTs wider donor engagement.

Collaborate with the Training Lead and Data Analyst to integrate learning, performance, and impact insights into service design.

Required Experience

About The Role
Kingston Bereavement Support (KBS) is the only bereavement service in Kingston Upon Thames. We are a registered provider to local GPs and an organisational member of the Childhood Bereavement Network. The Service Manager will provide strategic leadership in the development and delivery of a high-quality service for our clients. About the role
The Head of Marketing will play a pivotal role in strengthening the financial sustainability and social impact of our organisation. This 12-month position—open to both employees and consultants—will lead on the continued design and the implementation our marketing strategy across our three social businesses: our women’s-only gym and studio, our community café, and our meeting room hire service.
Working closely with the leadership team, the postholder will enhance the visibility and market reach of our social enterprises, and ensure that all business activity aligns with our mission to improve women’s health and wellbeing. They will also support marketing and outreach for our wider women’s health and wellbeing programmes, helping to grow participation and community engagement.

The Café – Nourishing Food, Nurturing Community
Our café is the social heart of The Bridge — a welcoming, accessible, and inclusive space where everyone can connect, share, and feel at home. Serving seasonal, plant-based meals prepared in-house, the café champions women-led enterprises and affordable, healthy food. It hosts many of our wellbeing and creative programmes, and through initiatives like the Pay-What-You-Can Supper Club, supports emerging women chefs and builds everyday acts of care and solidarity. The café has the opportunity to not only advances our mission of improving women’s health and wellbeing but also generates vital trading income and partnership opportunities.
While it currently operates at a deficit, it plays a vital role in advancing our wellbeing and community objectives. We are now focused on realising its full commercial potential. A feasibility study is underway to explore a range of operational and business models that will transition the café into a sustainable, profit-making enterprise. Plans include expanding income-generating opportunities through hosting more events, developing an external catering offer, and maximising use of the space for private hire and functions during weekends. Room Hire – Spaces that Enable Collaboration and Impact
Our professional meeting and event spaces are used by charities, community groups, and corporate partners for workshops, training, and strategic planning. With over 500 bookings a year and a 89% return rate, these rooms are known for their quality, warmth, and service. The income they generate supports our wider mission, while also acting as a catalyst for new partnerships and collaborations.
We now aim to build on this success by increasing utilisation on our most popular days (Tuesday to Thursday) and attracting new clients to fill capacity on Mondays, Fridays, evenings, and weekends. Plans include developing loyalty packages for regular clients and introducing new offers such as team wellbeing days that align with our health and wellbeing ethos. Our Head of Events (HoE) will bring leadership and strategic vision to the Society’s Events team encompassing scientific conferences, venue hire, and training courses, working to deliver the business plan and achieve targets for this active, income-generating department.
This role will be responsible for supporting the six-strong team in delivery of our busy events programme, working effectively with conference convenors, and providing exemplary support to our delegates, venue users, sponsors, and clients throughout the year. Working closely with the Director of Science & Engagement, our new HoE will work to develop robust and diverse income streams for the Society from our events as well as sponsorship and will oversee the expansion of our venue hire provision into new markets (e.g. weddings) in addition to seizing other opportunities for growth.

Management & Leadership:
- Shape and lead the Events team to deliver top-quality leadership and coordination of our events programmes and customer service for both internal users and external clients
- Continue to support a commercial approach to income generation across the Events department, to support revenue growth and diversification across sectors

Role Objectives
Technical Expertise:
- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including income and expenditure, balance sheets, cashflow reports and fund tracking.
- Advise on financial systems and policies, with the skills to implement any agreed changes.
- Act as a finance business partner to operational teams, providing financial guidance.
- Assist with internal and external audits, preparing schedules and responding to queries.
- Prepare and submit VAT Returns, often under Partial Exemption scheme.
Client Management:
- Oversee a portfolio of clients in the not-for-profit sector, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for their financial and compliance needs.
- Review and interpret financial information to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in a similar role and will consider candidates that have worked previously within an accountancy practice or within a not-for-profit organisation.
- Must have strong knowledge and understanding of the not-for-profit sector, including Charities SORP.
- ACA/ACCA qualified or working towards a qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Xero and Excel is highly desirable.

To support Habitat GB’s vision of a decent home for everyone, the organisation has recently completed a strategic review, resulting in a new National Strategy and an organisational restructure, to ensure the organisation is able to deliver the Strategy impactfully, efficiently and effectively.

The Director of Programme Delivery will be accountable for consolidating and supporting the new team to flourish. Key responsibilities include the design, delivery and performance of Habitat GB’s domestic programmes and to support the effectiveness of a joined-up UK housing advocacy strategy. The Director of Programme Delivery will also act as an external representation on behalf of Habitat GB, working with the National Director, Housing Advocacy Manager and others on influencing & engagement opportunities, including the development of thought leadership to increase Habitat GB’s influence on policy & decision makers, increasing credibility with partners, communities and other collaborators. The role will also work collaboratively across Habitat GB and the Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) network, including working with the Fundraising & Partnerships team to support high quality partnerships and strategic relationships.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Programme Delivery works to ensure the impact, sustainability, diligence and productivity of the organisation, including engaging in organisational transformation, within the framework of a values-led approach to people and culture approach.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Strategic development and programme delivery:

Accountable for co-leadership (with the Director of Retail) of the strategic leadership, development and performance of Habitat GB’s Strategic Goal: ‘Develop, pursue and share innovative solutions to increase access to decent, safe, affordable homes for communities across Great Britain’.

Responsible for overseeing and ensuring the high-quality design, delivery and performance monitoring of programmes under this strategic goal, including Habitat GB’s flagship Empty Spaces to Homes programme which aims to provide solutions to Great Britain’s critical affordable housing need through the conversion of empty commercial and retail properties into homes and through researching, advocating and collaborating in coalition with others to foster a wider uptake of the Empty Spaces to Homes approach.

Working in collaboration with other teams, responsible for the delivery and performance of other GB-based programmes and the development of new strategic initiatives.

Source and manage contractors/consultants to work on individual projects in line with our procurement and finance policies. Be responsible for effective contract management including quality assurance of their work and ensuring value for money. Supervised by Dr Ann Hagell (Consultant to The Well Centre Charity) and Professor Johnny Downs (King’s College London), you will join a collaborative and multidisciplinary partnership that includes KCL’s CAMHS Digital Lab, primary care teams, youth workers and community stakeholders. This is a rare chance to contribute foundational insight to a charity entering its national scaling phase.
About The Well Centre Charity
The Well Centre Charity exists to ensure every young person has access to health support that is holistic, youth friendly and free from barriers. Our model brings together GPs, Health and Wellbeing Practitioners and mental health practitioners to deliver integrated care in a way young people value.
Rooted in Lambeth, the Well Centre model has inspired services across South London and beyond. We are now building the research, learning and system infrastructure required to scale this approach nationally. About the Role
As Research Fellow, you will lead research and evaluation for the Maudsley programme and contribute to the wider evidence and insight function of WCC. You will use both qualitative and quantitative methods, support digital innovation with KCL, and help ensure that young people’s experiences, outcomes and priorities shape service development.
Your work will inform commissioners, clinicians and system partners working to reduce health inequalities and strengthen support for adolescents across South London and beyond.

About the job role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Support Administrator in our First Contact Team at St Joseph’s Hospice. We are looking for someone who has experience in administration and working in a healthcare environment.
The First Contact Team is a dynamic one-stop service that transforms the way patients and referral agencies access the Hospice’s services. An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Administrator to join the First Contact Team. If you are a successful applicant, you will be part of the team that acts as the first point of contact for the Hospice’s services. You will answer telephone calls from people who may be in difficult and stressful situations, provide advice and signpost to other services or agencies. You will also undertake associated administration and data entry.
The service operates 24 hours over seven days a week for advice, whilst referrals will be taken mainly in daytime hours. You will work 37.5 hours every week. Shift patterns will vary, and you will be expected to cover shifts from Monday through Friday, 8.00 am to 9.00 pm, plus occasional weekends according to the rota.
