We are looking for a dynamic, values-led, strategic leader to drive our mission for migration justice and social work solidarity. The role entails oversight of the operations and strategy of the organisation, responsibility for financial management and fundraising, maintaining the health of the organisation and embedding anti-racist and anti-opressive values into every aspect of the organisation. 

What we're building

Every year, 3,000+ swimmers take on some of the UK's most iconic open water challenges, including the Dart10k, Bantham Swoosh and The Hurly Burly along with our growing series of 24-hour Wild Swim Relays. They swim so that disabled kids who need it most can get life-changing swimming lessons.

Last year, these swimmers raised over £1m. This year, we want to double it. And we need someone who can help us get there.

We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own the events and run them like a business.  We move fast, test everything, and we're building something that doesn't exist anywhere else.

We've just brought in a new Fundraising Director, and this role is a cornerstone of the team we're building. If you want to help define how a modern charity does supporter care, this is your chance.

The opportunity

This isn't a "send some emails and answer some queries" role. This is a "build something and make it brilliant" role.

You'll own the entire experience for our 3,000 swimmers from the moment they sign up, through their training and fundraising journey, to the event itself (yes, you'll be there), and beyond. You'll design the journey, execute it, measure it, improve it, and scale it.

You'll have the freedom to experiment. Want to test a new communication sequence? Build a WhatsApp community? Launch a training programme? Run in-person meet ups? Create a membership product? Brilliant, build the business case and let's do it.

You'll work with real people who are doing something remarkable. You'll get to know them, thank them, support them, and help them raise more money than they thought possible. And you'll do it in a way that makes them want to come back year after year.

You'll also work closely with our Fundraising Director, Events and Marketing teams to turn our swimmers into our best marketing channel, because the people who've experienced our events are the ones who'll bring their friends next year.

And you'll grow with us. We're scaling fast, and we need people who can scale with us, whether that's into senior leadership, building out new teams, or launching new products.

This is a mission-critical role in driving Level Water’s income growth. Every strong supporter relationship you build helps unlock more funded swimming lessons, bringing us closer to a future where every disabled child can have a great swimming lesson with a confident, qualified teacher.

What you'll actually do

This role owns the supporter experience as a growth engine. You’ll set strategy, drive innovation, and be accountable for how supporter care translates into income, retention and long-term loyalty. You’ll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to shape priorities, influence decisions, and build something that scales - not just for this year’s events, but for the future of Level Water.

Build relationships that matter

• Get to know our swimmers. Design the experience. Call them. Thank them. Make them feel valued.

• Be there at events throughout the summer meeting people, creating unforgettable experiences, and giving them reasons to come back.

• Deliver the personal touches that deepen connections: handwritten cards, phone calls, training tips, impact updates, recognition, celebration.

Design and optimise the supporter journey

• Own the end-to-end experience: from sign-up emails to post-event stewardship.

• Map out communications across our events portfolio throughout the year and execute them brilliantly.

• Use data to spot opportunities; where are people dropping off? Where can we increase average fundraising? What messages work best?

• Test everything. Buttons, subject lines, timing, tone obsess over the details that drive results.

Identify and unlock growth opportunities

• Spot the swimmers who could become major donors, corporate partners, or monthly givers and move them along that journey.

• Cross-sell and upsell: if someone's just completed their first challenge, how do we make them another offer that they can’t refuse? 

Track, report, and improve

• Keep our CRM up to date and use it intelligently.

• Report regularly on what's working and what's not: fundraising targets, engagement metrics, retention rates.

• Stay ahead of the curve: what are the best organisations doing? What can we learn and adapt?

The Cyber Helpline is a fast-growing, innovative charity that supports individuals impacted by cybercrime, digital fraud and online harm. As we enter our next stage of growth, we are seeking a senior operational leader to transform, scale and strengthen our Helpline service.

The Head of Helpline and Service Delivery will provide strategic and operational leadership across all aspects of service delivery - people, processes, quality, tooling and innovation. This role is accountable for the overall performance, resilience and impact of the Helpline, ensuring we offer exceptional trauma-informed and victim/survivor-centred support across channels.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Service Direction

• Develop and deliver a multi-year operational strategy for the Helpline aligned with organisational goals.

• Represent The Cyber Helpline externally with partners, regulators, law enforcement, funders and the wider sector.

Service Performance

• Own and deliver KPIs, SLAs, performance dashboards and quality standards.

• Ensure effective processes, incident response, risk management and signposting and referral pathways.

• Oversee the helpdesk, telephony, triage, case management processes and other service initiatives.

People, Culture and Capability

• Lead the team members across functions such as supervisors, case support, QA and training

• Build a high-performing workforce of staff and volunteers, ensuring strong recruitment, onboarding, development, supervision and succession planning.

• Foster a supportive, trauma-informed and collaborative culture with clear expectations and accountability.

• Set and embed structures, role clarity, operational guidelines and communication frameworks across the Helpline.

Quality, Compliance and Risk

Service Development

• Lead service improvement initiatives, including redesigning processes, upgrading systems and embedding new technologies.

• Collaborate with data, product and technology teams to enhance automation, workflows and case-handling efficiency.

• Ensure the service evolves in response to threat trends, victim needs, and organisational strategy.

• Drive innovation in digital service delivery and multi-channel support.

Partnerships, Impact and Growth

• Work with stakeholders such as police, funders, commissioners, corporates and international partners to strengthen and expand our model.

• Support fundraising and business development opportunities by providing operational insight, impact reporting and case studies.

• Contribute to the expansion of the Helpline model into new geographies.

• Act as a senior ambassador for the service and organisation.

Internal Leadership and Collaboration

• Partner with operations, finance, safeguarding, comms and data teams to ensure integrated and effective organisational delivery.

• Contribute to organisational strategy, planning cycles, and Executive Team decision making.

• Lead or support cross-organisational projects where operational expertise is required.

Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years old or older and resident in the UK with the right to work in the UK. Successful candidates will need to have their background and criminal records checked, as they are likely to have access to sensitive personal data. 

Essential

• Significant leadership experience in a senior operational role within a helpline, support service, contact centre, victim support environment or other complex service-delivery setting.

• Proven ability to scale a service, introduce new operational models and lead organisational change. 

• Experience managing multi-layered teams (including volunteers), ideally across remote environments.

• Strong understanding of QA, safeguarding principles, operational risk, and compliance.

• Demonstrated ability to set KPIs, manage performance, analyse data and make evidence-informed decisions.

• Exceptional people leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills

Role Purpose 

As Payroll Lead, you will manage HOST’s global payroll operations — ensuring that all staff, contractors, and hosted partners are paid accurately, compliantly, and on time. 

You will bring structure, care, and precision to one of HOST’s most essential services: ensuring the people driving climate and social action receive the financial stability they need to do their best work. 

This role supports both internal HOST staff and hosted partners, liaising across HR, Finance, and Community Support to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient payroll management. You will also help develop new systems and processes as HOST expands internationally, ensuring our operations remain smooth, transparent, and aligned with local legislation. 

Core Responsibilities 

1. Payroll Management 

• Manage all aspects of monthly payroll for UK and international employees, contractors, and hosted partner staff. 

• Prepare and process payroll changes (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments) in line with internal procedures. 

• Ensure timely submission of payroll information to Finance and external providers. 

• Reconcile payroll each month, identifying and resolving any discrepancies. 
   

• Reporting cadence: Monthly payroll cycle; quarterly summary to Operations Director. 

2. Compliance and Record-Keeping 

• Ensure full compliance with UK employment law, tax regulations, and international payroll requirements in collaboration with external providers. 

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee and contractor records. 

• Support statutory reporting, including PAYE, HMRC, and pension submissions. 

• Liaise with HOST’s Finance Team on audits and compliance reviews. 
  Reporting cadence: Monthly compliance report; annual payroll compliance review. 

3. System Management and Improvement 

• Maintain and improve digital payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and secure integration with Finance and HR tools. 

• Support the development of HOSTHub payroll features and automation processes with the Tech Team. 

• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and strengthen reporting. 
  Reporting cadence: Quarterly system and process improvement review. 

4. Contractor and International Payroll Support 

• Coordinate with the Community Support and Finance Teams to process international contractor payments, ensuring correct deductions and documentation. 

• Liaise with local payroll providers and Employer of Record (EoR) partners to ensure compliance in each jurisdiction. 

• Track and report on cross-border payroll performance and issue resolution.

5. HR and Staff Support 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll queries from staff and contractors, providing clear and timely responses. 

• Collaborate with the HR & Operations teams to ensure policies and processes reflect payroll updates and legislation. 

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes for staff and contractors.

• Identify potential payroll or compliance risks, escalating concerns to the Operations Director and Finance Manager.

You’ll be the face of the Foundation in the area, able to build strong and trusting relationships and be an advocate for community organisations across the patch. You will also play a pivotal role in sharing learning, intelligence and insights to ensure the Foundations’ strategy development, delivery and relationship with the Lloyds Banking Group considers regional needs and the operating context of our funded partners.

We are seeking a full-time member of staff to lead our Alternative Learning Provision (Ed Mentor Programme). The role involves managing a team of staff (Youth Mentors), who are working with young people on the programme to develop confidence, improve educational outcomes and/or reintegrate them back into full time education. Alongside this, you will be required to work closely with key stakeholders (schools, local authorities, families etc), ensuring quality of provision and evidencing its impact.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and quality assure our Alternative Learning Provision (Ed Mentor Programme), ensuring high standards and positive outcomes for young people.
• Manage, support and develop delivery staff, providing guidance on pastoral, behaviour and safeguarding matters.
• Build strong relationships with schools, local authorities, families and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee referrals, induction, monitoring and reporting processes, using data and feedback to evidence impact and drive improvement.
• Manage programme budget, ensuring sustainability of the programme.

You will have:

• Experience leading or managing an alternative learning provision, youth programme, mentoring service, or education-based intervention.
• Experience in line managing, developing and supporting staff.

• A proven track record of effectively building and managing relationships and partnerships.
• Strong behaviour management and pastoral skills.

The Role

Pregnant Then Screwed’s Tribunal Mentor Programme is a peer-to-peer support service for women and parents taking legal action against an employer for pregnancy and maternity discrimination. We match mentees with volunteer mentors who have been through the Employment Tribunal process themselves for 12 weeks of support through weekly calls. We relaunched the programme in October 2025, and now, with funding from The National Lottery, we are looking for a part time Support Services Coordinator to help us grow and maintain new mentoring matches. 

As the Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and inducting mentees and volunteers onto the programme and supporting matches throughout their journey. You’ll also drive engagement with the programme, and develop recruitment strategies for potential volunteers and mentees. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the Tribunal Mentor Programme and volunteers. 

• Welcoming new mentee and mentor applicants to the programme through 121 and group calls. 

• Recruitment and engagement of new volunteers and participants. 

• Monitoring our Community WhatsApp groups and responding to enquiries.

• Hosting regularly mentor and mentee online check-ins.

• Researching further support and signposting options for mentees.

• General administrative tasks, including managing volunteer and mentoring data, supporting the Head of Support Services with reporting data and responding to general enquiries. 

• Supporting our Head of Support Services with volunteer training, policy and process development. 

• Supporting other Support Services projects where necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Volunteer engagement - demonstrated through experience managing or coordinating volunteers.
• Diversity, equity and inclusion focus, able to demonstrate a deep understanding of (and confidence in discussing) anti-oppression. 
• Engaging written and verbal communication skills - demonstrated through a proven ability to craft engaging newsletters, social posts or discussion prompts.

What We Offer 

• Flexible working is embedded in our culture with employees working different hours, and days of the week.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Children & Partnerships Manager to play a vital role in expanding our national referral network and ensuring more children across the UK can access the life-changing breaks we provide. This new role will work closely with our Development Director and Referrals Team to strengthen relationships with schools, Local Authorities, charities and community groups who support children aged 8–13 facing significant challenges.

About the role

As Children & Partnerships Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving national growth by identifying, engaging and nurturing the referral and delivery partners who help us reach the children who need us most. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Mapping UK regions with high child poverty and low current engagement to identify priority areas.

We are partnered with a fantastic charity who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Digital and Communications Delivery Lead to manage the digital and communications elements of its largest corporate partnership. This role is critical to helping the partnership raise a significant target their service user. 

Key responsibilities

• Programme managing both the digital delivery and communications aspects of the charity’s largest corporate partnership.
• Matrix managing relevant colleagues across different teams to achieve shared goals.
