This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Wellbeing Advisor Assistant with experience of working within a children and young people, to work within a multi-disciplinary wellbeing advice services team to increase and improve emotional and mental health provision within local communities for 11–24-year-olds in the West London CCG area.

The Senior Wellbeing Adviser will be a part of our Youth Services team and will work to deliver mental health services for young people and the adults who support them. The Senior Wellbeing Adviser will co-ordinate and deliver a diverse portfolio of wellbeing services including the provision of 1:1 practical wellbeing advice and support to young people (mainly aged 16-25), facilitation of peer support groups, delivery of workshops and trainings and co-ordinate awareness-raising campaigns on occasion.

This post will enable the post-holder to develop a wide range of project coordination and evaluation skills. The position will suit an individual who is self-motivated, an excellent communicator and data competent, with an interest in quality improvement, line management, an understanding of child development and mental health, as well as a passion to support services for children, young people and their families.

The post holder will also work alongside colleagues and partners in the Local Authority, CAMHS, educational settings where interventions are being delivered and other relevant mental health providers.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide practical mental health focused short term casework to young people through 1:1 face to face appointments 
• To develop, co-ordinate and deliver workshops and training to groups of children and young people 
• To raise and escalate safeguarding concerns effectively with partners to ensure children and young people are effectively safeguarded
• Signpost referrals for children and young people with more complex needs to the relevant service. 
• Coordinate referrals and booking in sessions 
• Conduct regular line management with one Wellbeing Advisor working closely with them as a team. 
• To undertake data collection, analysis and monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of service provision 
• To produce impact reports and summaries, using IT and statistical programs  
• Routinely measure clinical outcomes, in line with the CYP-IAPT program.   
• Maintain comprehensive records of all training and clinical activity in line with both health and education service protocols and use these records and outcome data to inform decision-making.  
• Complete all requirements relating to data collection and report clinical outcomes and service access data into the digital patient record system, CYP IAPTUS.  
• To assist in the formulation and delivery low-intensity psychological treatments based on evidence-based literature and research to support best practice in clinical work. Interventions may include guided self-help, and treatment might be individual or in psychoeducational groups. This work includes delivery face to face, virtual and Telephone.  
• Engage in robust managerial and clinical supervision, identifying the scope of practice of the individual post-holder within the role, and working safely within that scope.   
• Attend multi-disciplinary and multi-agency meetings relating to referrals or children and young people in treatment, where appropriate, both for personal educational benefit in discussion with supervisors, and to provide direct assistance.   
• Work in collaboration with school staff, parents, children, young people, and the wider community to enhance and broaden access to mental health services.

Training & Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Health/Social Care/teaching/ psychology or equivalent

Knowledge & Experience

• 3 years’ experience working with children and young people with mental health challenges 
• Experience in delivering 1:1 practical support sessions, group facilitation and producing and delivering presentations, workshops and training 
• Experience managing a complex case load
• 2 years’ experience project planning and management experience 
• Working knowledge of child and adult safeguarding 
• Understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality

As our Assistant Shop Manager in Fleet, you'll work closely with the Shop Manager, overseeing day-to-day shop operations, including generating donations, managing displays and merchandising, coordinating stock deliveries and collections, maintaining records, and handling cash.

The St Mungo’s Pan London Rough Sleeping Teams (No Second Night Out and Somewhere Safe to Stay) provide a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough. We are currently looking for people to join our teams as Night Reconnection Workers and Night Assessment Workers in our services. In these roles you will: 

• Work as part of a busy team environment working closely with those affected by rough sleeping. 

• Provide a safe and supportive environment at night to clients; and support a team of Assessment and Reconnection Workers, with key tasks; such as implementing reconnection or assessment plans and supporting clients into appropriate accommodation.  

• Work on a 7 day weekly night rota pattern with an average of 3 waking night shifts in a row (for example 8pm–8.30am or 9pm–8am)

BRIEF SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Culturally Appropriate Advocacy Service provides Advocacy for racially minoritised people (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people) in Greater Manchester who are being treated in a psychiatric inpatient site or who are at risk of detention under the Mental Health Act.

We aim to address racial disparities experienced in mental health care through Advocacy. We know that people from racially minoritised backgrounds are more likely to be detained under the Mental Health Act and experience worse outcomes when accessing care. Our Advocates work in partnership with the people they support and take their side. We promote social inclusion and social justice through Advocacy.

We want to proactively support our Advocate team and are introducing independent group supervisions based on the feedback from our Advocates. The Group Supervision Facilitator will facilitate monthly 1.5-hour group supervision sessions for a team of Culturally Appropriate Independent Advocates.

The department embraces a flexible working approach, with a primary focus on supporting the Chief Executive and Chair within the executive office. This role requires providing independent cover and support, ensuring efficient operations and effective assistance to senior leadership.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise diary management for the Chair and CEO, ensuring no conflicts and prioritising key meetings.
• Support key internal meetings by liaising with stakeholders, setting agendas, collating and distributing documentation, and producing accurate written summaries.
• Assist with drafting documentation for committees and correspondence as needed.
• Handle email, telephone, and postal enquiries and requests for information.
• Manage correspondence and documentation, including drafting documents where appropriate.
• Administer and record expenses, manage day-to-day resources against the budget, process credit card statements, and collate receipts for the Finance team.
• Develop and implement induction processes for the Chair of the Bar and Bar Council Officers.
• Manage travel arrangements, including efficient use of time and logistical arrangements for travel and accommodation.
• Organise key events and provide administrative support for governance meetings.
• Plan and deliver the yearly circuit visits programme, including preparing itineraries, briefings, and supporting documentation, liaising with Circuit Leaders, and following up on action points.
• Regularly review and consult with management on the effectiveness of administrative services, identify and analyse operational issues, and coordinate improvements.
• Manage Executive Office expenses, maintain clear records of office expenditure, handle invoices, and collaborate on budget development.
• Perform other tasks as delegated by the Head of Strategy, Planning, and Governance or Chief Executive.

To be considered for the role you will have the following, skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Significant experience providing executive support to high-profile stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to handle face-to-face, telephone, written, and email enquiries confidently and politely.
• Demonstrable experience in successfully servicing committees and minute-taking.
• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

What the job involves

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team focused on driving change and providing education to health professionals across UK health services to end variation in access to support and treatment for men with prostate cancer.

You’ll be responsible for the leadership, governance and operational management of four teams; Education, Improvement Programmes, Black Health Equity Engagement and Policy and Health Influencing; and their work programmes – ensuring collaboration and innovation across teams and functional boundaries to deliver Prostate Cancer UK’s business plan and strategy.

You'll oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across locations, ensuring an integrated approach to change priorities, including public awareness, clinical education, and stakeholder influencing. You'll drive strategic plans to improve health and care pathways across the UK, grow clinical leadership, and support political engagement. You'll champion efforts to tackle health inequalities, strengthen community engagement, and influence policy changes. Ensuring our work reflects the perspectives of those affected by prostate cancer, you'll focus on delivering maximum impact. You'll promote collaboration, maintain high-quality data, and support strategic goals while coaching your team to excel.

Night Reconnection Assistant - Rough Sleeping Services

Our client's Pan London Rough Sleeping Teams (No Second Night Out and Somewhere Safe to Stay) provide a rapid response service, intervening to ensure no one needs to sleep rough. They are currently looking for people to join their teams as Night Reconnection and Night Assessment Workers in their services. In these roles you will: 

• Work as part of a busy team environment working closely with those affected by rough sleeping. 

• Provide a safe and supportive environment at night to clients; and support a team of Assessment and Reconnection Workers, with key tasks; such as implementing reconnection or assessment plans and supporting clients into appropriate accommodation.  

• Work on a 7 day weekly night rota pattern with an average of 3 waking night shifts in a row (for example 8pm–8.30am or 9pm–8am) 

About you

The General Counsel's Division (‘GCD') is a department led by the General Counsel and Company Secretary, and is made up of the Legal and Compliance, Company Secretariat, Safeguarding and Risk teams.

In your Coordinator role you will use your drive, initiative, strong organisational and excellent communication skills, playing an integral role in bringing the GCD together to align and deliver on departmental priorities. You'll be a catalyst for the development of strong relationship-building across the GCD by planning and executing key departmental activities, and you'll collect insights from across the organisation to help raise the profile of the GCD within Save the Children UK (SCUK).

In your governance role, you'll use your baseline understanding of good governance to ensure that the processes you support are administered transparently and efficiently – streamlining them for more effective use wherever possible. Governance Assistance & Process Management

• Booking rooms for ARC meetings; coordinate logistics and supplies.
• Attending ARC meetings and recording accurate and concise minutes, capturing key points, actioning items, and decisions made during meetings, distributing minutes after meetings.
• Provide support with the administration of SCUK's related entities' board meetings, including scheduling meetings, booking meeting rooms, preparing board packs, distributing papers and taking minutes of meetings, as requested.

Act as the organisation's policies governance coordinator which will include:

• Managing the process for the review, development and approval of SCUK's policies in view of SCUK's overarching governance framework.
• Keeping the Policies Directory on the intranet up to date.
• Supporting policy authors as they navigate SCUK's policies governance process and devise simple initiatives to raise organisational awareness of its existence and purpose.
• Act as SCUK's Focal Point for the Save the Children Association (SCA) Mutual Accountability Framework (MAF) annual assessment
