Social media

• Develop and manage the social media strategy for Whizz Kidz

• Manage the day-to-day social media calendar and posting across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, ensuring a consistent stream of content that generates engagement

Rape Crisis South London is looking for a skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. 
 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of the South West London (SWL) Child Sexual Abuse Early Emotional Support Service for the CYP service. Working closely with the NHS and Schools you will manage a small specialist counselling team ensuring high-quality, trauma informed support for our young people who have experienced sexual violence. It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Safeguarding legislation for children and adults, as well as child development. 
 

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and an ability to develop partnerships with schools, families, funders and other key stakeholders. You will hold a relevant professional qualification in counselling or psychotherapy and be registered with the BACP/UKCP or equivalent. You will have significant experience of working therapeutically with children and young people, ideally in the contexts of trauma or abuse. 
 

Responsible to the Clinical Lead for CYP you will also provide additional support in the management and allocation of referrals, as well as provide additional support and advice as required to the wider CYP Service.

Working as part of the Helpline team, the Helpline adviser’s role is to ensure that incoming contacts from our beneficiaries receive high quality, timely support when they need it.

The role will be busy and varied, and each shift will involve responding to contacts across Beat’s different support channels including telephone, webchat, email, social media, and facilitating daily online peer support groups. Trusts and statutory funding is a core part of this model. As Senior Trusts and Statutory Manager, you will:

• Lead and manage a successful team (Trusts and Statutory Manager and Coordinator), delivering and growing the team’s £600k annual income target
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of trust and statutory prospects by crafting compelling proposals, narratives, and packages of support
• Steward key long-term funder relationships, including Arts Council England, and take responsibility for accurate reporting and statutory funding compliance

• Experience managing teams (formal or dotted-line) with a collaborative and supportive leadership style
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a skilled storyteller capable of crafting persuasive funding proposals and impactful reports

We are looking for a candidate that has experience of delivering services to people with complex needs, who will ensure that the service users receive a high-quality service, ensuring that their individual sessions are planned, executed and monitored.  You will also need to ensure that all areas are delivered and maintained to a consistently high level, and that staff are encouraged to meet goals for service users and themselves.

You must be willing to work flexibly across our services when needed, and will have experience of managing staff, leading a team and conducting supervision, with a willingness to learn management skills as and when identified by your line manager. You must also have outstanding communication skills (written and verbal), both internally and externally and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
