Team: Finance & Resources

The post holder will be responsible for the following:
Finance
Maintain appropriate and comprehensive finance and accounting policies and procedures including payment authorisations, cash management etc.
Provide clear and accurate financial information, budgets and forecasts to the trustees, CEO fundraising team and other departments as required.
Manage strategic relationship with key partner organisations such as bookkeepers/auditors/payroll providers/banks etc.
Overall responsibility, with support from the external bookkeeper and internal staff, for:
Ensuring accurate recording and maintenance of finance data, including accurate classification of income.
Ensuring balance sheet and bank is reconciled and reviewed monthly.
Preparing and developing monthly Management Accounts.
Oversee preparation of the annual financial statements and manage the external audit.
Oversee payroll and pension process, engaging with external payroll support, including administering monthly payroll and fortnightly payroll during the Winter Night Shelter season.
Legal and compliance
Overall responsibility for compliance with all legislation / codes.
Ensure Companies House, Charity Commission, HMRC and Pensions Regulator requirements
are met in a timely fashion.
Risk management
Overall responsibility for risk management, including timely and accurate completion of relevant risk assessments, maintaining and developing the organisation's risk register, and procuring and maintaining appropriate insurance cover.
Overall functional responsibility for health and safety.
Office Management
Overall responsibility for information technology across the organisation, which is implemented day-to-day by the IT support providers.
Ensure Glass Door has appropriate office space which meets all legal requirements and government regulations, environmental, health and security standards.
Organise and review general administrative processes and induct new staff on relevant office processes, including data protection, security and fire safety.
Support and line manage the receptionist and office volunteers to ensure that we deliver high levels of service to staff, guests and other visitors, creating a warm and welcoming environment
People Management
Manage the HR function:
Ensure Glass Door is an attractive and rewarding place to work and staff deliver their potential.
Review, identify and implement improvements in the HR function to optimise effectiveness and efficiency.
Lead on managing employee relations.
Support and line manage the Finance & Resources team (HR Manager, receptionists).

Governance
Manage the Resources Committee and Finance Committee on behalf of the trustees.
Assist in managing the Board of Trustees e.g. co-ordinate diaries, set dates, drafting and circulating agendas and papers.
Organise the Annual General Meeting, including drafting papers and corresponding with members.
Co-ordinate the annual policy review process for Finance & Resources (finance, legal, HR, data, governance) and Fundraising & Communications (fundraising, communications).
Manage the Glass Door complaints process.

We’re looking for a Brand and Insight Manager to join our Marketing team to shape and evolve the Anthony Nolan brand. You will champion excellence in how our brand is brought to life, creating compelling assets and practical guidelines that build awareness and inspire loyalty among our diverse audiences.
You will be a champion for the brand across the organisation, partnering with colleagues at every level to build understanding, strengthen consistency and embed best practice in everything we do. You will also contribute to brand evolution, tracking and strategic projects designed to increase awareness, trust and consideration, and deepen understanding of Anthony Nolan’s life-changing work.
You will play an important role in our audience insight programme, helping to gather meaningful insight and turn it into action. By sharing and championing these insights across the organisation, you’ll help teams make stronger, audience-led decisions.
To thrive in this role, you will be a confident relationship builder with strong stakeholder management skills. Working with teams across the organisation, you’ll help grow awareness of Anthony Nolan, advocate for brand excellence and give colleagues the tools and guidance to bring our brand to life with confidence. You may also collaborate with external brand, media and creative agencies, supporting the Marketing team to deliver impactful activity aligned with our organisational goals.
You’ll be part of our wider Engagement division, bringing together Marketing, Communications and Register Development - a collaborative team focused on reaching and inspiring more people through Anthony Nolan’s work.

Community Fundraising Manager
Salary: Outer London Business Support Scale, Grade 5\6 (Spine Points 21.1 – 28), £32,064 - £36,579 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.
Location: Copthall House, 9 The Pavement, Grove Road, Sutton, Surrey, SM1 1DA
Working Pattern: Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office; travel across all OHC&AT sites and to external meetings required, including at weekends, for which time off in lieu will be given. This exciting new role will lead community and regional corporate fundraising activity, developing partnerships with local businesses, community groups and supporters to generate income that transforms opportunities for our pupils and students. You'll help bring inspiring projects to life, including initiatives such as Tom's Farm at Nightingale Community Academy, while delivering engaging fundraising campaigns, events and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Securing community and corporate fundraising income
· Building relationships with businesses, donors and community groups
· Developing fundraising campaigns and events
· Creating compelling cases for support and funding proposals
· Supporting social media and fundraising communications
· Managing donor stewardship and reporting impact
· Working closely with colleagues across our schools, colleges and central teams
Key Requirements:
· Proven experience in community and/or corporate fundraising, including securing donations and partnerships.
· Good numerical skills and experience managing budgets.
· Brilliant relationship builder both internally with team members and externally with funders.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and present compelling cases for support.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently as part of a small team.
· Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
· Ability and willingness to travel regularly between OHC&AT sites and external locations.
