Summary of the role:

The Supporter Relations Engagement Team is involved in the planning and development of programmes and projects that puts supporter engagement at the heart of everything do we do. They play a pivotal role in making Muslim Aid more data and insight driven in the way we fundraise and communicate with supporters. The team’s aim is to increase the depth and value of supporter relationships whilst also encouraging repeat giving and overall supporter retention through targeted engagement strategies.

Working within the Supporter Relations Engagement Team, you will develop a supporter centric approach to planning effective multi-channel, multi-product supporter journeys to grow loyalty, engagement, and income.  We are looking for someone with an audience and data insight driven approach to identify moments that matter and key touch points to improve the supporter experience. By doing this, you will ensure that each touchpoint across the supporter experience is engaging, effective and reflects Muslim Aids brand and values.

As a confident communicator you will help develop a culture based on understanding and interpreting supporter behaviours and motivations. Using this information, you will lead on mapping journeys and engagements across communications, campaigns and the fundraising portfolio to maximise a supporter’s lifetime value.

About the Role:

1. Create new innovative supporter journeys to increase engagement, loyalty and improve income generation.
2. Deliver improved supporter journeys and care strategies using insights, evidence and feedback.
3. Deliver exemplary Supporter care and stewardship that builds loyal and committed supporters through high quality personalised engagement. 
4. Collaborate with the Data Analysis team to manage supporter preferences ensuring best practice regarding data protection, data collection and to maximise cross sell opportunity.
5. Incorporate supporter care best practice and emerging approaches into activities so that the organisation remains positioned to effectively engage/manage donors.
6. Provide general administrative assistance in support of the smooth running of the Supporter Relations Department.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Significant supporter/customer care skills obtained from the commercial or charity sectors.
2. Proven engagement developing internal relationships across a complex organisation – working with internal clients to develop and adapt briefs to improve supporter engagement.
3. Experience of working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
4. Experience of developing innovative and creative engagement programs for supporters/donors.
5. Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.
6. Good organisation, coordination and project management skills.

This is a rare opportunity to lead our Support & Communities teams who provide direct support, practical guidance and other patient focused activities to over 1500 members and their families, UK-wide, whose lives are affected by MPS, Fabry and related diseases.

As the company safeguarding lead you will have an in-depth understanding of policy and procedure to protect all.  You will be a relationship builder who cares about the community we serve and ensures that the individual (or family) remains at the centre of support. 

You will have a good understanding of managing budgets and able to produce accurate monitoring/evaluation reports. Excellent IT skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to tight timescales are essential.  You will be self-motivated and highly organised, juggling many strands of work. 

As a team player, you will demonstrate a willingness to participate in the day-to-day activities of the team, have excellent staff management and development skills along with the confidence to motivate and inspire.

This is an essential car user post. The applicant must hold a current UK driver’s licence, with no more than 6 points, have access to a car and be able and willing to drive UK wide as required.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in our Amersham office each week. About the role

We are seeking a technically capable, qualified accountant with strong knowledge of the Charities SORP to provide effective stewardship and oversight of the Finance function at Kinship. You will be responsible for financial controls, management accounting and ensuring the effective delivery of ‘business as usual’ financial management.

As well as producing monthly management accounts, you will be responsible for running the annual budget and the year-end processes, preparing for the yearly external audit and ensuring that the organisation complies with statutory obligations.

You will prepare papers for and attend the quarterly Finance Committee meetings and will liaise with a range of stakeholders including auditors, the bank and investment managers.  You will be the ‘go to’ business partner at the charity, supported by the Chief Operating Officer and Fractional Chief Financial Officer.

You will manage a team of two colleagues – a Senior Finance Officer and a Payroll Manager – providing them with guidance, coaching and support to enable them to perform effectively. You will also collaborate and work with Directors and senior managers across the organisation to inform them on performance against budget and conditions of funding, as well as supporting fundraising and commissioning bids. 

You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to organise conflicting priorities around the monthly management accounts cycle, while supporting the achievement of our strategic objectives. You will be flexible and adaptable in your approach to supporting transformational change in our processes and systems, as well as dealing with, and leading on, the day-to-day financial management. 

This is a broad and challenging role for a dynamic and systems-driven individual who wants to grow within the organisation, proactively problem solve and help colleagues to deliver on our mission.

Essential requirements include:

• Fully qualified ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, standards and the Charities SORP, and experience of applying these in a service delivery organisation
• Experience managing a Finance function in a charity with £1-10m annual turnover
• Experience of line management and developing a team using approaches that are empowering
• Experience of Business Central, or the ability to quickly learn a new accounting system
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to use Pivot Tables and other functions to analyse large data sets

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:

• A good understanding of email data (open rate, click through rate, click through open rate etc.) and how to analyse it in order to inform on-going activity.
• Experience of using a range of analytics tools to help monitor, optimise and evaluate campaign performance including Google Analytics, CRMs and ESPs.
• Experience of using Customer Relationship Management systems (ideally Salesforce) to segment audiences, create campaigns, target audiences and report on activity.
• Experience of managing marketing and communications campaigns across owned, paid and earned channels.

The Role

The Opportunity Fund Partnership Development Manager plays a central role in supporting funding opportunities aligned with the objectives of the Opportunity Fund. This role combines relationship-building and programme development to ensure the Opportunity Fund achieves the maximum impact.

This role will be responsible for working closely with the CEO and the Strategy, Research and Engagement team to initially identify possible opportunities for funding, through to managing the relationship with organisations once funding is awarded. This will include remaining in tune with sector insights and development across philanthropy, civil society and public policy.

About the role

The postholder will report into the Head of Procurement and will lead procurement projects, introduce innovative solutions, and analyse in detail best practice opportunities available to mitigate risks, optimise value, add and manage the total cost of ownership dynamic.

Our reports rank many of the world’s largest financial institutions on their approach to environmental and social issues, pushing for and facilitating change in the financial sector.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead the delivery of our 2026 benchmark of some of the world’s largest insurance companies (following our 2024 report), using your project management and research skills to ensure timely delivery of a high-quality publication and support the development of junior researchers in the team.
• Coordinate with civil society allies, executing the survey in collaboration with external partners for the first time, as well as continuing to work synergistically with other leading global NGOs.
• Present our work externally and engage with financial institutions, regulators, and industry bodies to provide detailed recommendations for improvement, supporting parallel workstreams on our benchmarks of asset managers and European banks.

Leading a small team of dedicated researchers within the Financial Sector Research team, you will support the Head of the team to ensure delivery of the insurance sector benchmark, one of ShareAction’s key reports ranking financial institutions. This involves organising the team to collect information from institutions and databases, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, produce engaging graphics to communicate results and translate this analysis into actionable steps for financial institutions to take. You would collaborate with teams across ShareAction and strengthen connections with other NGOs and external experts to ensure the rigour of this research.

This is a very exciting time to be joining the team. ShareAction is currently reviewing our strategy for work on the insurance sector, and this role therefore presents an opportunity to help shape the dialogue on how the benchmarks connect with engagement and campaigning expertise in ShareAction to achieve maximum impact.

We are looking for a person with excellent project management and communication skills, experience of research and a passion to make a difference within the financial sector at a challenging and critical time.

This will be a 6-month fixed-term position to cover the leave for an existing role.

What you’ll bring to the team

Essential

• Demonstrated experience in project management, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing demands and support junior staff members to deliver high-quality work and meet deadlines.
• Strong research experience in one or more of the following areas: economics, finance, sustainability, climate, biodiversity, labour rights, or public health.
• A good understanding of responsible investment and its implications for different types of financial institutions, as well as the current state of play, trends and challenges.
• Line management experience and the ability to motivate and develop a small, dedicated team of driven researchers.
• Proven ability to handle relationships with multiple external stakeholders.
• Any experience programming (ideally in Python) and interest in further developing this expertise.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
• A passion for the work ShareAction does and for making change happen.

Desirable

• Experience working in or with the finance sector.
• Experience in conducting surveys and/or carrying out qualitative or quantitative research on financial institutions.
• Experience integrating innovative tools into research processes, particularly AI tools.
• Deep subject matter knowledge in climate change, biodiversity, human rights and/or public health.
• Experience of project management in a matrix management environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, particularly SharePoint.
• Experience with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
• Any experience programming (ideally in Python) and interest in further developing this expertise.

About the role:

To provide proactive and high-quality administrative support within the Membership Services Team. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, building strong relationships, and offering clear guidance to RDA’s Member Groups, RDA Approved Centres, volunteers, participants, and the general public.

Specific Responsibilities

Member network and external communication with RDA National Office:

• Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls to the RDA National Office, dealing with enquiries professionally and escalating when required.
• Manage shared email inboxes, responding promptly to queries and working with relevant teams to ensure follow-up.
• Monitor enquiries to identify trends and share insights to improve service and communications.

Provision of support to the Membership Services Manager for Membership matters. This will include, but is not limited to:

• Provision of guidance and support via calls and email to groups on operational matters including governance and health and safety (including first aid and risk assessments), directing to appropriate resources and self-service options. Highlight gaps and issues to the wider team.
• Administrative project support for ongoing initiatives and live projects.
• Maintenance and updating of the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Updating content on our internal network site (MyRDA) to ensure it is accurate and up to date, ensuring groups are signposted to relevant resources.
• Provision of administrative support to the team and wider Operations function, including coordination of training events, courses, and webinars—ensuring delegates are well-informed and receive the necessary resources.
• Supporting annual business-as-usual activities such as mail-outs and assisting member groups with membership fee and insurance processes, as well as the RDA annual returns process.
• Assisting with administrative processes related to the wider team’s operations, including onboarding of new groups and RDA Approved Centres, group closures or incorporations, royal visits, and national RDA events.
• Manage the RDA Group Orders system, including processing and dispatching orders, stock replenishment, liaising with suppliers, and maintaining website listings.
• Support the handling of complaints and concerns in line with the RDA Complaints Policy & Procedure, escalating to relevant team members where appropriate.

Be proactive in communicating with RDA Groups and the wider network by:

• Listening and responding to concerns of groups
