We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual with personal lived experience of mental health recovery, who is ready to lead and inspire others through peer support. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, a natural team leader, and someone who thrives in a values-led environment. You will:

• Provide structured peer support, information, and guidance to individuals across Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster who are living with common and complex mental health needs, including complex emotional needs.
• Connect people through one-to-one peer support, groups, workshops, and community-based activities, empowering them to build confidence and take control of their recovery journey.
• Work closely with NHS Talking Therapies, Recovery Colleges, and other statutory and voluntary services to ensure a coordinated, person-centred approach to mental health support.
• Supervise and support a small team of Peer Support Workers, ensuring delivery aligns with Mind’s peer values and quality standards.
• Engage with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and age groups, using interpreters where necessary to ensure inclusive and accessible support.

Team: Night Shelters 

Location: On-site at Glass Door Night shelter venues in the boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham or Wandsworth 

Duration: 1 November 2025 to April 2026

Reporting to: Service Manager – Night Shelters 

Shifts available:  

• 7:00pm to 7:15am 

• 7:00pm to 8:15am (driver) 

• 9:45pm to 7:15am 

• 9:45pm to 8:15am (driver) 

Pay: £14.50 per hour, or £15.00 per hour when you are the designated driver for that shift. 

Job Purpose

As an Overnight Homeless Shelter Worker, you’ll be part of a small, professional team running Glass Door’s night shelters between November and April. Working alongside at least one other staff member, you’ll be awake and engaged throughout the night, supporting up to 35 guests who are experiencing homelessness. 

Your role is about creating a safe, calm, and welcoming space where guests can rest, feel respected, and be treated with dignity. You’ll build trust through friendly conversation, keep an eye on everyone’s wellbeing with regular checks, and step in when problems arise – from offering reassurance to someone in emotional distress, to calmly handling challenging behaviour, to calling emergency services if needed. 

Most nights are steady and focused on guest support, but there can be moments of pressure. We’ll provide training so you feel confident and prepared. You’ll also help serve a light breakfast in the morning and ensure our equipment is packed and ready for the next night – with one of you driving the van back to base.

Job Responsibilities

What You’ll Do 

You’ll be part of the overnight team making sure our night shelters are safe, supportive, and welcoming spaces for everyone staying with us. This is an awake, overnight role, you will be alert and engaged for the whole shift. Your main responsibilities will include: 

• Welcoming and supporting guests – Create a friendly, respectful atmosphere and build positive relationships with guests, volunteers, and colleagues. 

• Staying alert all night – Carry out regular checks around the shelter (every 20 minutes) to make sure guests are safe, and comfortable. 

• Responding to situations – Calmly manage any issues that arise, such as someone feeling unwell, experiencing emotional distress, or showing challenging behaviour. This may sometimes mean calling emergency services. Training will be provided. 

• Keep the shelter safe and secure – Follow all safety, security, and health and safety procedures. This includes locking and unlocking doors and making sure the space stays tidy and free from hazards. 

• Recording important information – Write clear, accurate shift reports and note any concerns or observations. Complete incident forms if needed. 

• Supporting volunteers – Offer direction and guidance to volunteers on shift so everyone works well together. 

• Enforcing behaviour expectations – Address situations where may display challenging behaviour, using a calm and respectful approach, conflict de-escalation training is provided for all staff. 

• Packing and unpacking the van – unload equipment and supplies into the van at the start of the shift and repack at the end of the night. The allocated driver will return the van to base (driver shifts are paid for an extra hour). 

• Restocking supplies – Keep an eye on essentials such as tea, coffee, and toilet paper, and restock from the van when needed. 

• Preparing a simple breakfast – In the morning, help serve drinks, toast, and porridge, and make sure guests are woken from 6am so they can leave by 7am. 

• Tidying and closing down – Gather equipment, pack it away, and ensure nothing is left behind. 

• Training and meetings – Attend occasional in-person training sessions, team meetings, or other activities. From time to time, you may be assigned online training to complete while on shift. 

• Work to a rota – Shifts will include evenings, weekends, and public holidays, so flexibility is important. 

• Help with other tasks as needed – From time to time, you may be asked to help with other reasonable tasks that keep the night shelter running smoothly. 

Person Specification 

Essential 

• A genuine commitment to providing a high standard of service and treating everyone with respect, kindness, and dignity. 

• Confidence in handling challenging behaviour calmly and respectfully. 

• Good communication skills, both spoken and written. 

• The ability to carry out manual handling tasks such as moving supplies and equipment. 

• For driver shifts: A valid driving licence for a manual vehicle and be willing to drive the Glass Door van. 

Desirable 

• Experience working with people experiencing homelessness or other vulnerable groups. 

• The ability to speak another language, for example Arabic, Tigrinya, Amharic, Polish, Spanish, French, or Russian. 

• A lived experience of homelessness. 

• An understanding of, and commitment to, trauma-informed care. 

• Relevant training such as first aid, fire safety, conflict de-escalation, or Mental Health First Aid.

About Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. The Role
As part of our strategy for growth and national impact, SCAA is seeking a motivated individual to manage our newly formed Data function, as Data and Insights Manager. This is a hands-on managerial role, which will contribute to both the immediate data management requirements and lead on the development of the longer-term Data and Insights Strategy for SCAA.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding a culture of data-driven decision making, using insights and analysis to support future growth, with a particular focus on fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement. They will ensure the right frameworks and infrastructure are in place to allow for effective data management and data-driven decision-making across the charity.

This is a full time role based either at Scone Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located, or at our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport (for Aberdeen-based candidates there will be the requirement to attend our Perth base on an occasional basis). The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current arrangements consist of a minimum of two office days per week. As our ways of working continue to evolve, we are open to reviewing the hybrid arrangement for this role, and fully remote working may be considered in the longer term.

About You

Essential

• Significant experience leading data strategy, governance or CRM development in a fundraising, marketing or customer insight environment.
• Strong knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance, with understanding of DPO responsibilities.
• Demonstrable experience in designing and interpreting data analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Experience overseeing CRM systems from a strategic perspective, including planning for improvements or new systems.
• Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools from a user or strategic oversight perspective.
• Excellent leadership and line management skills, with experience developing staff and building data capability within the wider team.

Working across mass participation fundraising products, you will deliver market-leading campaigns, develop creative and engaging supporter content and explore channels of communication with our supporters to achieve further transformational growth.

This role requires an ambitious marketeer with previous product/event marketing experience, outstanding copywriting skills and an enthusiasm for identifying and implementing new social and digital technologies. Fundraising experience is not essential.

You will work alongside another Marketing Campaigns Officer to support the Marketing & Engagement Manager and the Head of Sporting Events on the development of SLF campaigns. You will provide copywriting support to the SLF team and manage creative and media agency relationships. The role also works closely with the Sporting Events Managers, the Relationship Fundraising Managers and their teams, as well as collaborating with other colleagues in the Communications, Brand, Strategic Marketing, Project Management, Digital and Data teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the marketing activity for mass participation campaigns

· Write clear, engaging and fun copy for campaigns including social media adverts, marketing toolkits, emails and web.

· Work with agencies, partners and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time campaign delivery

· Own the overall marketing/comms calendar for income-driving campaigns.

· Be innovative: review and implement new technologies to improve our campaigns, drive engagement and boost supporter experience.

· Help bring our For A Cure brand messaging to life across SLF marketing

Campaign marketing: supporter acquisition

· Supporting the Marketing & Engagement Manager, play a significant role in bringing thousands of new supporters to the charity through targeted, considered and tactical marketing campaigns.

· Lead on the day-to-day management of marketing campaigns for the SLF team Provide the SLF team with copywriting support, marketing assets, and wider marketing support.

· Assist the Marketing & Engagement Manager and the Head of Sporting Events on campaign proposition and development to maximise income and attract new supporters.

· Work with our external agencies and partners, managing relationships where required.

· Work with internal stakeholders to ensure SLF campaigns are integrated across the charity to drive maximum value and awareness in particular our digital team.

· Deliver all campaigns on time, on budget, on brand.

· Lead on the gathering of data for campaign review and analysis, with proactive adaptation of plans to optimise results.

Budget Management and reporting

· Manage budgets, marketing spends and monitor campaign ROI for campaigns you are responsible for.

· Work closely with Digital and Data teams to ensure engagement, acquisition and remittance is monitored and evaluated (CPA, trend analysis, KPI tracking and lifetime value.

· Provide monthly campaign performance reporting and benchmarking against market trends, previous similar campaigns and to agreed campaign measures.

The post-holder is responsible for pro-actively identifying and securing new members, processing membership applications, managing credit control that relates to membership fees, and acting as the primary point of contact for prospective/members and relevant stakeholders.

The Head of Membership will also drive the development of Cobseo’s membership offer, policies and processes via the design and delivery of a new, research-led, evidence-based Membership Strategy, which will include refining the membership criteria and enhancing membership benefits to elevate the value of Cobseo Membership.

The Head of Membership provides leadership to the Cobseo office team and Executive Committee on all membership matters. They leverage their knowledge of the sector and expertise in customer-centric delivery, in order to provide guidance on Membership decisions during Executive Committee meetings, of which the membership applications are a standing agenda item.

The Head of Membership will be the primary liaison for the new CRM/website project, working closely with the Director of Operations and the Head of Communication & Engagement to ensure that the new system is commissioned, launched, and integrated successfully. They will work with external suppliers including routinely with the external bookkeeper, and on a project basis with the CRM provider and CRM implementation partner to ensure value-for-money procurement and effective project delivery.

As a member of the small Cobseo office team, the Head of Membership, along with the other members of the office team, is expected to lean into issues, opportunities, and workstreams that arise, sometimes at short notice and occasionally outside of their own portfolio.

This role is full time (34.5 hours per week) and is office-based in London for at least 2 days per week in order to facilitate positive relationships with the rest of the team and with stakeholders. There is an option for hybrid/homeworking the rest of the week. Some UK travel is required and the post-holder will occasionally be required to work from external sites, such as events’ venues or in order to visit members’ premises. Normal working hours are maintained wherever possible noting that business activity of a membership organisation, including for some events, is held outwith normal office hours.

 The Head of Membership role doesn’t currently have line management responsibility. As the size and shape of the Cobseo office team develops over time, this may change.

We are looking for an Adult Carer Wellbeing Navigator, employed by Sutton Carers Centre and based within the Wellbeing Team at Sutton Talking Therapies as well as our Centre. In this role, you will provide both practical and emotional support to Carers - helping them to set goals, develop effective coping strategies, and strengthen their confidence by accessing appropriate therapeutic interventions. 

You will bring experience of working with people facing difficulties around their mental health, offering person-centred support designed to improve their overall health and wellbeing. You also will have knowledge of the wider issues that may affect mental health, including the particular challenges and rewards of caring for others.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-partner environment are essential. Flexibility is also key - you’ll need to respond to the varying needs of Carers and the organisation, including occasional work outside standard office hours.

Post Title: Director of Clinical Services - Psychotherapy

Reporting to: CEO

Line Management Reports: Clinical Managers, Outreach Therapist/s, and support staff.

Purpose of Post: To provide organisational governance and strategic leadership to the Board/Trustees, and CEO as a member of icap’s Executive team.  To develop and ensure implementation of icap’s clinical strategy ensuring good governance of clinical standards and resources.

Lead and represent an experienced clinical team within icap and externally. To work with and support the Clinical Managers and other clinical staff with the day-to-day management of the clinical service.

Terms:  Permanent

Salary£56,800 pro rata plus pension

Hours: Minimum 0.6 – 0.8 FTE, 21 - 28hrs per week (open to negotiation), hours by arrangement to include some hours on 4-5 days each week; the post requires some pre planned out-of-hours work and travel.Our offices are open between 09:00hrs - 19:00hrs on 3 days and 09:00 -17:00 two days each week. Volunteers support our reception function on extended opening hours (after 5pm).

Location:  London; some travel to detached sites in London, Birmingham, and across the country to other operational sites (Irish Centres) where the organisation is providing services. On site working required with opportunity for limited hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Functions

 Working with the Board/ Trustees to develop ICAP’s clinical strategy including:

- Reporting to icap’s Board, on progress against icap’s clinical and operational strategy,

- Preparing Board Reports and Risk Register

- Deputise for the CEO.

Work with CGSC chair and trustee members to:

- Develop clinically appropriate Policies, Procedures and Processes. Promote a culture of learning within the clinical team, ensuring therapists are up to date and engaged with data collection, reporting and monitoring.

- To pro-actively participate as a member of icap’s Executive Team, attending board meetings, Clinical Governance Sub Committee meetings and a regular calendar of fundraising events

 Clinical Facing function:

Work with the Clinical Managers to support them with the day-to-day management of the clinical service.  Line Management oversight of the Supervision function of the organisation. Act as the DSL for Adult Safeguarding including the training, risk management, recording and reporting of all safeguarding activity. Ensure icap’s strategic objectives are understood and supported across the Clinical service. Review the Client Contribution policy to include full cost charging for services.

Oversee the Implementation and roll out of CORE CMS across the service. (New project)

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

 Clinical Leadership and Management experience in a small or similar organisation. Managing and working with minoritised or deprived groups with multiple barriers and limited access to psychotherapy. Experience of producing Board reports and working with commissioners, developing funding applications, and service level agreements for Clinical services. Experience of Clinical Governance and reporting targets and outcomes.

Training and 6+ years direct experience in using psychotherapeutic and trauma informed approaches with recognised post graduate psychotherapy qualification. Accreditation with either BPC, UKCP, BACP, ICP, NCPS and/or IACP. Evidence of up-to-date practice as recommended by relevant professional body.

Knowledge and experience of SharePoint and the Microsoft suite of tools.

You'll lead on the day-to-day responsibilities for property, health and safety and vehicle fleet regulatory and statutory compliance at St John's College and its residential settings. Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) is recruiting for a new Casework Manager to lead our growing and dynamic Casework and Advocacy Service.You will be joining an impactful local organisation at a crucial time in our development. We are looking for a hard working and dynamic leader who can balance the operational demands of casework and managing frontline services, with excellent HR skills and a keen interest in policy and developing partnerships. This is an exciting and integral role within a supportive and dynamic team at AFRIL. The role is available due to the advancement of the previous post-holder to a more senior post.

AFRIL’s Casework and Advocacy Service is a busy, professional team of 4 caseworkers (3 FTE) , a Community Activities Coordinator, and a number of volunteers. The team has grown significantly in the last 3 years, in response to the needs of our community and due to recognition of AFRIL’s high quality and relevant casework provision. The Casework and Advocacy Service provides AQS accredited complex casework and advice in the areas of Asylum Support, Housing, Benefits and Community Care. The service works to fill the gap, focusing on supporting those with complex vulnerabilities requiring wrap around support. AFRIL takes its services to where clients are; holding regular casework drop-in’s at asylum support hotels, community centres and at Lewisham Foodbank. AFRIL is also recently accredited by the Immigration Advice Authority to provide advice at Level 1, in both Immigration and Asylum and is currently in the process of becoming accredited at Level 2.

AFRIL’s Casework and Advocacy service uses casework trends and data to work with community members in order to engage in policy and systemic change. Utilising casework and community co-production, the service has created sector wide resources on asylum support, engaged in strategic litigation and successfully influenced local, pan-London and national policy outcomes. This is a growing area of work for the service and the successful Casework Manager will be required to balance high quality casework outputs and management of a team, while working closely with the Executive Director on emerging policy and advocacy work.

Small grants for essential items and cash payments for food in emergencies. Securing and distributing gifts in kind, e.g. winter coats, laptops and data. 

• Allotment of Refuge - a welcoming community of food growers that supports improved health, wellbeing and integration of members, whilst protecting the local environment. 

• Immigration Project in partnership with Southwark Law Centre, providing free legal advice and representation to support people to regularise their immigration status.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a fast-growing charity in North London providing much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 experienced Crisis Outreach Workers to support Mind in Enfield and Barnet's Family Hubs Service.This role is to support individuals during the perinatal period (expecting and up to 2 years after birth)  presenting at the Family Hubs experiencing mental health crisis and problems gain immediate support

The purpose of the Outreach Worker is to work with adults during the perinatal period (pre birth up to 2 years after birth), including both parents and carers. You will work as part of MiEB perinatal family hub team to identify those at risk of crisis and ensure referral pathways are in place to facilitate rapid engagement

The successful candidates should have a minimum 2 years experience of working with people with mild, moderate and severe mental health issues. Experience of utilising de-escalation techniques, and supporting clients presenting in emotional distress
