About the Role
We are looking for Support Workers for two full-time 38 hours per week and one part-time 30 hours per week for our Enfield Supported Living Services which provide 24 hour care and support to people with learning disabilities and mental health.
We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and committed individuals to join the teams. As a Support Worker your duties will include:
- Provide support to individuals in line with agreed support plans
- Coordinating packages of care and support for individuals and supporting individuals with reviews of support and any needs for long term care or support.
- Demonstrate good IT skills, and be able to record information clearly and professionally
- Good verbal communication skills; be able to liaise professionally with a range of external stakeholders, care managers, health professionals, other services and providers of support, and family members of customers.
- Delivering a service that promotes and supports choice, empowers individuals, helps people take control of their own support and care, and increases their independence and self-determination.
- Putting the person we support at the heart of your work, promoting each individual’s needs for independence, well-being and dignity

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Delivery of Spear Programme
- As a coach you will support Spear centres in London and across the UK by preparing and coaching Spear Foundation group sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
- Quickly building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room.
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.
- You will be required to travel outside of London and potentially stay for a period of time at the centre. All business expenses will be covered during the working week.
Spear Centre Support
- You will form part of a central support team that enables Spear Centres to deliver high quality, high impact sessions to young people when one of their team is sick or the centre is short-staffed.
- You will be placed where the support is needed most, working peripatetically across centres. This could look like 2 months based in one centre or various weeks working across different centres both in London and across the UK.
Trainee recruitment
- Supporting Spear Centres to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme, through active face-to-face recruitment.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Supervising CareTrade Café throughout the school year (including half terms)
2. To work with the Café and Kitchen Manager to write and prepare training materials for the Trainee Café Assistants

This role would suit someone without management experience, who is already working in an advice role and seeks career development, or equally someone with experience of managing advice services.
You will have in-depth and up-to-date knowledge and recent experience of providing casework in welfare benefits, and a willingness to seek further training in basic housing and community care. The Children and Young People’s Psychological Trainings programme (formerly known as CYP IAPT) is a service transformation programme that aims to improve Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Services (CYP MH) and develop the workforce by recruiting professionals for core and specific skills training. The aim of the Leadership in Mental Health programme is to do this by providing managers with an effective toolkit by which to deliver their transformation objectives, as well as to develop their personal and professional development in their CYP-MH leadership role and become reflective leaders. It is a one-year programme for managers working in NHSE funded CYP-MH services, and consists of twelve teaching days, combining academic lectures, seminars and small group tutorials, and assessments which are highly tailored to working managers.
We are recruiting for an experienced Course Tutor to facilitate the delivery of some teaching and reflective practice tutor groups to help students consider the teaching in relation to their contexts and develop personally and professionally as CYP-MH leaders. The Course Tutors will also contribute to teaching sessions, and undertake marking, personal tutoring and make other similar contributions to support the delivery of the programme and promote the best student experience.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the national CYP IAPT programme and experience of supporting CYP-MH workforce development.

About Mental Health Innovations (MHI)
Founded in November 2017 following the success of The Royal Foundation’s ‘Heads Together’ campaign, it launched its first product, Shout, in 2019. Shout is a free, confidential, 24/7 text message service for anybody to text when they may be struggling with anxiety, loneliness or depression through to self harm or suicidal thoughts.
Job Purpose:
To support the recruitment and admission of new volunteers, promoting volunteering opportunities and completing background checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ask for and check references for new volunteers
- Coordinate and attend volunteer recruitment events, such as Universities; organise volunteers and staff to support
- Follow up with prospective volunteers to encourage them to apply

The purpose of the role will be:
- To provide innovative, exciting and accessible youth work and youth projects to disabled young people aged 11-25 years old
- To support the running of girls group aged 11 – 25 years old
- To working alongside Caxton Youth Organisation colleagues to support children and young people from the Westminster community to run our youth programmes.
- To support the delivery of our holiday programmes; and residentials providing overnight disturbance cover where you will be responsible for our female member
Required skills, knowledge and qualifications
- A minimum of 1 years experience in the youth work sector.
- A minimum in Level 2 Youth Work.
- Excellent written and communication skills at all levels.
- A strong understanding of the principles of youth work as a distinctive practice of informal education and voluntary participation.
- A good understanding of inclusive practice including different communication methods e.g. Makaton.
- Advanced use of Microsoft packages.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality.
- Is able to work as part of a team and to use own initiative.
- Is willing to travel and to work unsociable hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.
- A highly motivated and creative youth worker.
- Strong empathy and a person centred approach.
Desirable
- Experience of supporting learning disabled and autistic young people.
- To have a driving licence and ability to drive a minibus (including a D1 licence and MIDAS qualification).
- First aid training.

Action for Conservation is a grassroots charity using pioneering approaches to inspire and empower young people from diverse backgrounds, between the ages of 12 and 24, to become the next generation of environmental leaders. We're looking to appoint a Senior Programmes Manager - North West (Maternity cover) to help us shape and manage our programmes for young people nationally and lead our work in the North West.
Key terms

Starting salary: £36,749.45 - £40,773.98 depending on location and experience

About the role
This opportunity comes at a unique and exciting time in the evolution of our charity, as we look at how we continue to grow our work sustainably and deepen the connections between our youth and land-based work streams.
As Senior Programme Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape our work nationally as well as lead our programmes in the North West of England, enabling us to grow our reach, deepen our impact and ultimately deliver our mission. Your work will ensure that across our programmes we offer young people meaningful and impactful opportunities to take action for people and the planet and have a voice in shaping the future of our landscapes.
You will work closely with and report to the Head of Impact and Programme Operations. You will also line manage the other regional Programme Managers and a team of two Programme Coordinators in the North West, and will collaborate with the Land-Based Projects and Policy Lead and the Land-based Project Coordinator at the intersection of our youth programmes and land-based work.
With support from your manager and in consultation with the other regional Programme Managers, you will translate our annual programme strategy into a robust cross-regional implementation plan covering both programme design and operations and make tangible improvements to enhance efficiency and impact across our regions. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our programmes are delivered as planned, to a high standard in line with best practice and cohesively across regions, and that regional objectives and targets in the North West are achieved.
The ideal candidate will be a highly capable and experienced project/programmes manager and team leader with a proven track record of motivating and supporting others to achieve the best possible outcomes for your team and your programmes.

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Schools Coordinator (Impact Officer) to work as the primary link between partner schools and the CYUK programme.
This youth social action charity challenges 18 to 25-year-olds to tackle educational inequality through a year of full-time social action. As mentors, tutors and role models in schools, they support pupils growing up in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the UK.
Position: Schools Coordinator (internal title School Impact Officer)
Location: RM8 3EX. 2 days per week from this location
Training Location: E1 6EG -1 day per week, Friday, at this location. With occasional working from home.
Hours: Part - Time, for 3 days per week. Normal working hours are 8:00 - 4:30, Monday to Friday. Working Fridays is essential, the other days are flexible.

The Role
We have a rewarding opportunity for a School Impact Officer to train, support and develop volunteers and monitor the programme through effective administration, data management and to build a deep partnership between the school and the charity.
The Impact Officer is based predominantly in a school and is the primary link between the partner schools and the programme and is the enabler of the programme delivery. You will support a team of volunteer mentors, who support school activities by coordinating, managing and evaluating the programme.
The Volunteer Mentors also complete a Leadership and Development programme and you will work with them on a professional development plan to chart their continuous professional development and ready them for employment.
