About the role

The Director of Finance will lead the finance team to ensure the effective support for SFCT’s complex requirements across all aspects of finance, investment management, governance, compliance and risk.

The role will report directly to the CEO, providing financial and operational oversight, as well as high-level strategic engagement with senior stakeholders. This will require you to establish effective working relationships across the office and with family members and Trustees.

The role is part of the Head of Central Services group, working closely with the Head of Finance (Gatsby) to play a key role in decision making and delivering shared ways of working across the group, strengthening cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement to ensure that support for our Trusts and charitable organisations remains fit for the future.

This is a varied and complex role that covers three main areas of work.

1. Leading a team that is responding to changing needs from internal customers to ensure high performance.
2. Leading projects with a focus on continuous improvement.
3. Proactively supporting family members and trustees in managing investments.

The role’s challenge and variety come from a mix of central and tailored support for the entities that SFCT supports.

Who we are looking for

This role is a fully functional finance role with multiple entities that require support. You will be an experienced Finance Director (and/or perhaps a CFO of an endowment-funded foundation) with the people skills to lead and develop a large finance team, as well as the skills to manage a complex mix of stakeholders.

As a qualified accountant, you will be someone with knowledge and experience in charity finance, who also has a commercial focus and likely has had a stint in industry. Experience in managing a complex finance function and being proactive when it comes to change is essential, as well as the ability to inspire and develop a team to deliver high performance and continuous improvement.

You will enjoy working with people and come with a broad set of experiences. Experience in investments would be an advantage, as would any other additional areas of expertise. This role is a platform for value-added support.

About the Role

• Provide welfare benefits advice in person and via digital channels

• Provide outreach advice in Torus Foundation, Citizens Advice buildings and home visits

• Provide advice and case updates to Torus Foundation staff members via a staff helpline

• Attend Torus Foundation and community events as appropriate

• Research and explore options and implications so that clients can make informed decisions using Citizens Advice resources

• Act for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels.

• Complete benefits checks when appropriate and deal with benefit advice issues covering welfare benefits applications including initial claims and complete any relevant assessment forms, challenging decisions including mandatory reconsiderations, appeals up to and including representation at tribunal hearings and complaints and queries

• Assist with relevant general advice queries, referring internally or to other specialist agencies as appropriate.

• Maintain detailed case records for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring and report preparation.

• Ensure that all work meets quality standards and the requirements of the funder

• Meet individual performance targets and engage positively in discussions with line manage to maintain required levels.

Requirements

1. Knowledge and experience of the benefits systems, including minimum of 12 months experience of carrying out welfare benefits advice

4. Ability to use sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients, whilst maintaining structure and control of meetings with them

7. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a range of partnership organisations to support Torus Foundation tenants.

You will also need to have the Institute of Money Advisers Certificate in Money Advice Practice or MaPS Caseworker accreditation equivalent. NEA Level 3 City and Guilds Level Energy Awareness would be desirable too.

● OR for a trainee - at least 6 months’ experience of delivering excellent customer service in a regulated environment such as banking, insurance, or a contact centre.

The Energy Debt Specialist will provide a high-quality inbound telephone debt advice service to clients as part of our brand new Consumer Energy Debt Advice project. About the role

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Officer with paid advertising and organic social media experience to join our Digital team.

As Digital Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for creating email marketing campaigns, running paid advertising activity and creating content across organic social channels to help teams across the organisation hit their objectives. What will I be doing?

Email responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end email campaigns including briefing, copywriting, creation in Dotdigital, send and evaluation 

Paid responsibilities 

• Deliver paid digital marketing campaigns in-house including running virtual challenge ads in Meta – working with the Product Lead to design the campaign plan, draft the copy, build in-platform, optimise and evaluate 
• Assist with paid advertising campaigns run by our digital media agency, ensuring they have clear briefs, assets are provided on-time and campaigns are delivered to plan

General Digital Marketing responsibilities

• Be part of the team’s social media monitoring rota and moderate our social channels - ensuring comments are appropriately handled in line with the social media policy
• Create and schedule content across organic social channels to support key campaigns

The Role 

· Assertive outreach casework with very vulnerable women

· Responsible for supporting three women in the Borough of Camden

· Intensive support for complex needs with service users with a history of non-engagement with services

 

Accountabilities:

Casework

· Solution-focused casework interventions with women who have experienced VAWG and severe and multiple disadvantage

· Provide emotional support using a trauma informed approach

· Build and maintain supportive relationships with ethnically Minoritised women

· Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with service users within an attitude of ‘positive risk taking’

· Provide support with life skills, including practical assistance where skills are not yet developed

· Maintain accurate case notes and up to date records

· Contribute to the completion of outcomes reports and funding returns

· Complete all documents when support work commences and keep up to date with any changing risks to or from the woman.

· Risk assess situations in the moment, act calmly, professionally and be ready to remove self from/ call 999 in situations that appear too high risk to remain in

Advocacy and support service

· Empower women to access benefits and services they need

· Involve service users in the design, development and delivery of the service

Multi-agency

· Engage with a wide range of professionals (some of whom may have very different approaches to problem solving) through a multi-agency approach, and advocate to agencies on behalf of the Project and its service users

· Promote coordinated, joined-up service delivery for service users between violence against women services and drug and alcohol agencies, mental health, housing, health and legal agencies.

· Contribute to a service-wide communications plan and ensure that information about the service is widely available locally to other agencies and is also readily accessible to potential service users

· Educate a wide range of agencies and stakeholders about the challenges faced by women experiencing multiple disadvantage

· Proactively develop links with local statutory and voluntary organisations to provide a range of engagement opportunities for service users in the community

· Attend and contribute to the Domestic Violence MARAC as appropriate

· Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of the Project

About You 

You will need a relevant professional qualification or experience in psychology, mental health, social work, nursing, health and social care, public health, with excellent leadership and people management skills.

The ability to manage competing demands, adapting plans to meet emerging needs and priorities is equally important.

You will have demonstrable experience of case management for clients with varying needs who are seeking a change in behaviour. You will also be confident in identifying and recommending opportunities for continuous service improvement and expanding the reach and impact of the service.

About the role:

The Junior Content Producer is a new role that will play a pivotal role in supporting the Content Team to deliver Drinkaware’s multimedia content strategy by creating engaging multimedia content. The role is key in ensuring that the public can make conscious, informed choices about alcohol and can find help if they need it.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Content

• Manage the Content Team’s production Monday boards, to ensure tasks are assigned, tracked and deadlines are met
• Manage content requests in line with the content development process
• Support the Creative Content Lead and Senior Digital Content Officer with digital and printed content production and delivery
• Support the Operations and Programmes, Partnerships and Research teams with content creation and delivery

Social media

• Support the Senior Digital Content Officer with the delivery of the social media plan by scheduling social content in line with our content panning cycles
• Build relationships with specific audiences through community management across social media channels, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, which includes finding influencers/advocates/case studies for Drinkaware
• Monitor social channels for reactive engagement opportunities and flag any reputational risks emerging on socials
• Proactively stay ahead of social media trends and ensure our channels are affectively developed and maintained

Contribute

• Support the Creative Content Lead with the creation and delivery of website content and email marketing, ensuring this feeds directly into the overarching content strategy.

The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing & Projects Coordinator to join our high-performing marketing function at Islamic Help. This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of project management, internal communications, and marketing delivery.

You will not be solely responsible for designing social media posts, editing videos, or running ad campaigns - we already have expert teams in place for that. However, you will be invited into those processes, with opportunities to observe, contribute, and grow. We are always open to ideas that improve our work, and there is definitely scope for development in this area of marketing over time.

The core of this role is to co-ordinate, connect, and communicate - ensuring that everything runs smoothly, projects are delivered on time, and the many moving parts of the marketing department stay aligned.

This role doesn’t require deep experience in marketing execution. At its heart, it’s a project management and stakeholder coordination position. However, it’s ideal for someone with an interest in marketing and communications who wants to gain exposure and experience across a full marketing ecosystem - including brand, paid media, video, SEO, digital infrastructure, and more - in a fast-paced, mission- and results-driven environment.

You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing & Technology, the Senior Marketing Officer, and a broad mix of outsourced specialists, including Google Ads experts, SEO consultants, graphic designers, videographers, performance marketers, and UI/UX professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Track and manage marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, to spec, and aligned with brand standards
• Coordinate between internal departments and external specialists (e.g. video teams, print houses, performance marketing agencies)
• Schedule meetings, follow up on action points, and ensure teams stay on track
• Maintain clarity on project timelines, tasks, ownerships, and deadlines
