The Director of Youth Work will sit in the Leadership Team, working in collaboration with the CEO and youth workers to ensure FAST’s overall strategic objectives and desired outcomes are met.

Although capacity remains a challenge—especially with a 60% reduction in public youth programmes over the past decade (YMCA, 2020)—we continue to grow strong, engaging over 400 young people annually.

Job Description

• Co-ordinate senior meetings for staff, board and subgroups, including scheduling, co-ordinating agendas, collating and distributing papers and providing high-quality, accurate minute-taking with clear actions.
• Track key deliverables and action points and follow up on outstanding items.

Fundraising Manager – 17.5 to 21 hours per week

Age UK Camden is a local, independent and innovative charity which has provided services to older people in Camden for more than 50 years through diverse and inclusive services.  We are looking for a results-driven Fundraising Manager who will be responsible for the fundraising, income generation and marketing/communications functions within Age UK Camden (AUC). Individual Giving Manager - Chichester Festival Theatre

The Individual Giving Manager will lead the successful planning and delivery of mid-level giving, managing schemes between £120–£4,999 annually. You will oversee donor cultivation, stewardship, and supporter communications, ensuring the highest standards of engagement and experience.

Line-managing the Senior Events Officer, you will also ensure the delivery of high-quality events that inspire and retain donors and generate fundraising income, playing an active role in developing CFT’s giving schemes and future fundraising strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Mid-level supporters

· Manage all mid-level giving schemes (£120–£4,999 annually), ensuring they remain appealing and effective

This is a unique opportunity to foster collaboration, and champion the educational aims of an influential complementary health profession recognised by the WHO. To ensure an independent perspective informed by broader sector insight (across higher education and health), this role is open to senior education leaders from other UK healthcare professions outside acupuncture.

We are looking for an Interim Director of Research (Maternity Cover) who will lead a talented research team of staff and associates providing direction and oversight for a diverse, ambitious research portfolio. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play an essential role in strategy and have a hands-on approach from quality assurance and developing research practice, to managing projects and nurturing partnerships.

You will need to have deep roots in qualitative research, as well as the work of charities and funders, with experience of line management, team supervision and leading on new work development.

You will play an essential role at a key moment for IVAR. Charities are facing mounting pressures and ongoing complexities, and IVAR’s work is critical in supporting the response.

At the Institute for Voluntary Action Research (IVAR), we work with charities, foundations and public agencies to strengthen UK communities through action research. We champion the role and contribution of the voluntary sector. We listen, learn and share what helps – and what gets in the way – so that funders and decision-makers can put charity voice at the heart of change.

As Interim Director of Research, you will lead a motivated and talented team of research staff and freelance research associates. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing a strategic and balanced research portfolio, including leadership of project design and new work development.

You will work closely with the Director of IVAR and both the Deputy Director of Research and Director of Communications to support quality assurance, supervise specific projects, and ensure that IVAR meets its ethical standards. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will also support and feed in on all people matters and contribute to embedding an inclusive and equitable approach and internal culture. You will have a proven track record at the senior leadership team level and in line management, experienced at moving between strategic and operational priorities, and be confident to lead a research team in a collaborative and developmental way. 

You will have strong experience of research design, bid writing and generation of new work. You will be skilled in qualitative and action research, including significant experience of facilitating complex processes and discussions.

It is essential that you have experience of the voluntary sector and working with funders.

About Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance
Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. As a charity we rely on donations from the Scottish public, companies and communities to ensure that urgent medical help gets to the patient when it is needed, wherever they are and at whatever time of day.

The Role
As part of our strategy for growth and national impact, SCAA is seeking a motivated individual to manage our newly formed Data function, as Data and Insights Manager. This is a hands-on managerial role, which will contribute to both the immediate data management requirements and lead on the development of the longer-term Data and Insights Strategy for SCAA.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding a culture of data-driven decision making, using insights and analysis to support future growth, with a particular focus on fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement. They will ensure the right frameworks and infrastructure are in place to allow for effective data management and data-driven decision-making across the charity.

This is a full time role based either at Scone Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located, or at our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport (for Aberdeen-based candidates there will be the requirement to attend our Perth base on an occasional basis). The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current arrangements consist of a minimum of two office days per week. As our ways of working continue to evolve, we are open to reviewing the hybrid arrangement for this role, and fully remote working may be considered in the longer term.

About You

Essential

• Significant experience leading data strategy, governance or CRM development in a fundraising, marketing or customer insight environment.
• Strong knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance, with understanding of DPO responsibilities.
• Demonstrable experience in designing and interpreting data analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Experience overseeing CRM systems from a strategic perspective, including planning for improvements or new systems.
• Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools from a user or strategic oversight perspective.
• Excellent leadership and line management skills, with experience developing staff and building data capability within the wider team.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders with complex data insights.
• Project management skills.

Desirable

• Experience within the charity sector, especially in fundraising or supporter engagement.
• Experience working with finance teams on reconciliation and Gift Aid processes.
• Qualification in data protection, data analysis, or a related discipline.
