You’ll spend your time:

Main Duties
Leadership and Management:

Job Purpose
This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all of our boroughs.

- To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients

About the role
We are seeking a Substance Misuse Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Catford. You will be based within a 24 hour service which provides enhanced rehabilitation support to adults who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health, who would benefit from an intensive rehabilitation and recovery-focused approach. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.
You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. Summary
The Interim Head of Funding will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the funding strategy of our three charities (Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, Guy’s Cancer Charity and Evelina London Children’s Charity). The postholder will play a leading role in enabling the successful delivery of funding and impact across our NHS Charities in line with our strategy, covering activities across the full breadth of our funding cycle, from development of proposals, review of applications in line with our governance and overseeing delivery and monitoring of funded programmes. Key responsibilities:
Funding
· Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end funding process from development of applications to decisions and monitoring of funded programmes.
· Overseeing ongoing delivery of the funding strategy by working with Funding Managers to effectively deliver and manage funding portfolios.
· Co-chairing of funding committees as required, supporting delivery in line with our governance structures.
