About the role and you
We are recruiting for a Policy Officer within the Advocacy and Communications Team. You will report to the Director of Advocacy and Communications and work closely with all others in the team.
The purpose of this role is to strengthen LFF’s policy and advocacy efforts. You will be crucial in helping to develop strategic engagement, influence change and strengthen LFF’s impact on public policy, and in doing so, make a significant contribution to the prevention of child sexual abuse.
Bringing together your knowledge and experience engaging with various stakeholders, you will effect change by identifying opportunities to influence decision-making, analyse data to develop policy positions for the organisation, contribute to consultation submissions and provide advice on various policy matters.
Advocacy is one of three guiding principles in our 2025-2030 organisational strategy. It underpins all of our work – we advocate for a greater focus on preventing abuse before it happens, not just within the halls of parliament but through all aspects of our work from frontline practice to influencing national policy.
This role sits within the wider Advocacy and Communications Team which supports the promotion of all areas of our work across various channels: websites, social media, press and PR, marketing and digital advertising. Working with the wider team, we are striving to better showcase our advocacy work both internally and externally.

CAMPAIGNS ASSISTANT - Full-time permanent position (open to part-time applicants)

As Campaigns Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of impactful campaigns led by our Campaign Managers and support high-profile projects like World Animal Day and various events.
To be considered, we’ll be looking for motivated, resilient candidates with relevant experience or skills developed in an animal welfare (or related) degree or more general public policy and campaigning. The successful candidate would need to be organised, with a sharp eye for detail, able to deliver projects on time, whilst working as part of a team. You’ll need a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise, as no day is ever the same.
This is a full time or part time permanent role offering a salary around £23,000, depending on skills and experience.

· Executive Assistant to CEO
Provide full support to the CEO, including but not limited to:
o Overseeing the diary of the CEO, prioritising meetings and scheduling time for reading, thinking and preparing, ensuring meeting materials are to hand.
o Providing ‘right-hand’ support, undertaking research, ensuring CEO is up to date with all projects and pre-empting needs.
o Secretarial – supporting emails, creating presentations, keeping management files organised and up to date within SharePoint.
· Executive Assistant to Chair
Provide full support to the Chair in any administrative activities that relate to her role as Chair, including but not limited to:
o Overseeing calendar appointments, and ensuring the Chair is prepared for meetings.
o Providing ‘right hand’ support in communication with staff and Board, scheduling meetings and providing administrative support as required.
· Governance and administrative support to the Overcoming MS Board
Provide governance and administrative support to the Overcoming MS Board of trustees, including:
o Scheduling Board, committee and Strategy meetings and making the necessary arrangements (eg booking venues, setting up virtual meetings via Teams/ Zoom).
o Preparation of documentation for meetings including circulation of agendas, compiling Board packs for the Board of Trustees and committee meetings, taking accurate minutes and co-ordinating follow up actions.
o Supporting the Chair and CEO in the recruitment and induction of new Trustees.
o Providing administrative support for working groups, for example, making arrangements for meetings, circulating agendas and papers.
· Internal HR administrative lead
Fully supported with external expertise, to provide administrative support for the team, including:
o Advertising vacant roles, coordinating recruitment, sifting applicants, arranging interviews.
o Onboarding new starters, including references, contracts, setting up new starters on the systems, inducting starters in organisational processes.
o Supporting ongoing team development including coordinating training, staff surveys and appraisals.
o Coordinating leavers, including exit interviews, leavers forms and relevant administration.
· Internal IT administrative lead
Fully supported by our external IT agency, to provide administrative support for the team, including:
o Regular meetings with IT agency to ensure correct licenses, equipment and protections are in place.
o Coordination of hardware and software for new starters, equipment provided and returned for leavers.
· Management of Overcoming MS contact enquiries
o Regularly check the Overcoming MS contacts mailbox and manage its contents, responding or delegating to Overcoming MS team members where appropriate, and ensuring follow up is completed.
o Manage the Overcoming MS telephone number to ensure queries are dealt with efficiently.
o Draw themes from regularly occurring queries, to make sure any trends are picked up and addressed effectively.
· General organisational support
o Provide ad hoc project management support to organisational improvement projects, including supporting project team meetings, developing project plans and tracking progress.
o Travel/ meeting arrangements – arrange meetings, attendance at conferences and book rooms and making travel arrangements as necessary.
o Coordination with our outsourced storage facility.
o Policy support – maintenance of the policy tracker, coordinating the reviewing and updating of policies.
o Admin support for team meetings, oversight of the shared drive, central email lists.

Role Overview
The Supporter Care Team are looking to hire two Supporter Care Assistant posts who’ll provide excellent customer care; engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The role will involve dealing with donations, ensuring that our records are kept updated on our database, running reports, and undertaking general admin duties.
About You
You’ll have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.
You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.
Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as excellent administration skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

The Role:
The Marketing Assistant will play a key role supporting the Marketing & Communications team in implementing the integrated communications strategy and providing marketing support for the promotion of hospice services and income generation activity.
Your day-to-day tasks will be varied but typically will include assisting with delivering our social media calendar, creating engaging content for use across our communication channels, writing copy for press releases and arranging photo calls, assisting in print and publication production, and updating content on the website.

Key Responsibilities:
Parliamentary and Policy Support
· Support the work of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health (APPG on SRH), including preparing briefings, arranging meetings, drafting minutes and supporting stakeholder engagement.
· Assist in drafting policy briefings, consultation responses, and submissions to Government and other stakeholders.
· Conduct research to inform CoSRH’s external engagement, campaigns and influencing priorities.

Media and Communications Support

· Help monitor media coverage and track engagement across CoSRH’s channels.
· Track and analyse media coverage of women’s health and SRH to identify emerging stories, trends, and opportunities for engagement.
· Take responsibility for growing the College’s Bluesky account with the support of the Membership Engagement Team.
Programme and Project Support
· Contribute to the work of the Hatfield Vision Taskforce, including supporting meetings, and helping to communicate outputs.

About the team
The Campaigns, Policy and Communications (CPC) directorate at Shelter researches and understands the full range of Shelter’s audiences, creates the content, products and strategies needed to engage and support them, and campaigns for the systemic change needed to end the homelessness and the housing emergency.
Digital and Audience Engagement is the window in and out of the organisation, through which we understand and engage the full array of audiences with an interest in Shelter. About Your Responsibilities
The Communications Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Communications Team across three areas, as well as supporting a number of other initiatives across the Foundation.

Digital Communications and Marketing

About the capital project
The Playhouse Capital Development project is progressing through RIBA stage 3 with a design freeze now implemented. Work will continue to bring together a final stage 3 report which will give clear costings and timeframes for the project, before submitting a formal planning application at the end of October 2025. We anticipate that following this we will seek final approval to progress to RIBA stage 4 and commit to a start date for mid 2027 and a schedule of works that will see the project completed before 2029.
About this role
This part time (average 3 days per week) fixed term role has been created to work cross organisation and to work collaboratively with a new-look Development team to secure additional funding to realise this transformational capital project.

Reporting and Analysis
• Produce standard and ad hoc reports for fundraising, finance, marketing and impact teams.
• Support data selections for appeals, newsletters, campaigns and events.
• Assist in developing automated reports and dashboards as part of the wider data strategy.
• Help document data structures, mappings and reporting requirements.
Data Strategy and Infrastructure Development
• Contribute to the implementation of Fight for Sight’s new data platform and analytics solution.
• Support integration between the CRM and other key systems (e.g. website, finance, retail, and grants systems).
• Participate in data mapping, testing, and process documentation for new reporting tools.
• Work with colleagues to define and prioritise core reporting needs, supporting a shift to self-service dashboards and modern analytics.
• Assist with data migration and transformation tasks as systems evolve.
Systems Support and Training
• Provide first-line support for CRM users and troubleshoot data queries.
• Help maintain training resources and documentation for CRM and reporting systems.
• Promote best practice in data entry, storage and use across the organisation.
• Work collaboratively across teams to improve confidence and capability in using data.
