Location: Home-based, with occasional travel for meetings and events. We provide equipment to support you working from home and pay reasonable expenses when you need to travel for work.

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 a year.

Job overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing strategy for our conferences, events, membership and consultancy services within the education sector. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting the CST brand, increasing attendance and engagement at our events and driving membership and business growth through strategic marketing activities. They will also line manage, support and develop a Marketing Executive.

Key responsibilities

7. Collaborating with subject matter experts in-house and across a wide range of partners to produce thought leadership and guidance for the benefit of CST members.

8. Supporting the delivery of conferences and events and working in partnership with the events team and external partners to ensure seamless integration and quality assurance of marketing and operational activities, including onsite branding and promotional activities.

9. Working closely with CST’s Head of Communications to manage the services areas on CST’s website.

10. Build relationships with CST partners and other sector organisations to identify and create cross-promotional opportunities.

11. Using the CST CRM and other analytics platforms to report on the performance of marketing activities.

12. Any other duties that may be delegated by the MD of CST PD.

Trauma Treatment International (TTI) is a registered charity in the UK. We focus on providing evidence-based psychological treatment and support to victims of collective violence around the world. As well as providing treatment for victims directly, we work with organisations and communities to manage, mitigate and prevent the impact of trauma.

This is an exciting time for the charity, as we move into our next phase of development. We are now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead us in the implementation of our Strategy 2025-2030 and our vision for change.

Key experience and attributes you will need to bring:

• Minimum six years’ experience at senior leadership/management level, ideally gained in non-profit organisation or other humanitarian setting.
•  Some prior experience of interacting with a Board of Directors.
• Experience of financial compliance including demonstrable experience of actively setting and managing budgets, preparing cashflow projections and working with financial reports – this experience is likely to have been gained over at least 3 years’ active, first-hand participation.
• Prior experience of working in a growth environment, ideally having gained involvement in income generation/fundraising.
• Experience working with external funders, partners, and collaborators
• Demonstrate clear understanding of Charity Code and governance obligations including Charity Commission requirements and charity law.
• Possess and demonstrate strong leadership experience and ability to lead with a coaching / mentoring/ trauma-informed style in order to maintain organisational culture, valuing the people of the organisation.

Overview

Role Purpose

You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with hyperlocal, local, and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity.

You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the opportunity to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting to businesses.

In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the recruitment and stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for the administration, making sure all places are filled, planning the events, and helping all participants hit their fundraising targets.

Main Duties

Corporate Partnership

• Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through email updates, calls, social media activity and booking monthly check-ins, as well as sharing infographics, case studies, events information, and newsletters when useful.
• Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations. Make it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have.
• Host, tour, or present at a minimum of four organisations per week.
• Manage inquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses.
• Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar.
• Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, advertisements, social media content, and create WordPress pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events.
• Host Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs and follow up with a thank-you email the same week.
• Manage data entry and administration surrounding partnerships, including communication, contacts, setting targets, and funds raised, through software and our CRM, for example.
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to assign new and existing partners
• Provide weekly updates on targets and expected income, and work to provide accurate forecasting.

Events Fundraising

• Manage our existing events portfolio of The Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, Trafford Abseil, October Half Marathon, being responsible for their success.
• Investigate and develop new events to complement our 12-month calendar.
• Empower organisations to plan independent fundraising events and create a fundraising toolkit to support this.
• Support the running of our October Fundraising Dinner
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to project events income and build a 12-month fundraising pipeline.

General Duties

• Supporting the Fundraising Team et al, including administration, cover, and events attendance when required.
• Support the Fundraising & Finance Teams with data entry, CRM updates, and the creation of KPI data when required.
• Work within health & safety guidelines and Mustard Tree policies and procedures.
• Support other staff and departments, occasionally providing practical relief cover for work-streams, operational areas, classes and clubs.

We are looking for a Funding Officer to join the enthusiastic, friendly Liverpool City Region team in the North West Region, primarily focussed on North Liverpool. 

This opportunity is a fixed term contract starting September 2025 for 14 months (November 2026)

You will play a major role in ensuring our funding supports a wide variety of communities and places across North Liverpool, Liverpool City Region and the North West region.

As a member of the funding team you will assess applications for funding and manage grants from our Reaching Communities and Partnerships programmes. You will use your local knowledge and experience, and the experience of our grant holders and local stakeholders, to ensure we are making the best decisions on the grants we make. By working closely with people and communities from a defined geographical area, you will understand what matters to them and where our funding can make the biggest difference.

In your role you will work within the Fund’s policies and procedures and the necessary legislation, in line with our vision and principles. You will gain an understanding of our vision, our commitment to equity and inclusion and our funding programmes. 

The role is varied and will require you to: 

• Be responsible for your own caseload: visiting projects, liaising with grant recipients, identify and manage risks and supporting organisations to delivery their projects and measure their impact.
